Yes, after flashing this FTF, I tried to install the .434 updates OTA which is of size 9 MB, it got downloaded and restared but couldnt install the updates.. Why does it happen?

At the moment rootable only for bootloader-unlocked phones.
And also, previous kernels with CWM recovery confirmed working as well with this new firmware.
in a chinese forum i found the kernel with root!

Yes, if you mean the blue LED blinking every 5 seconds when a message arrives for instance.

Have to edit the framework but chill on that because when it gets JB from sony thats an option to show and hide and also with aosp based roms. So in time it will come.

You mean eversince you got the phone? Looks like a hardware fault if that's the case, better send it back for repair or replacement.

I'm on .303 and the LEDs work perfect (I'm using LightFlow app).
I too tried .195 and .197 and no joy .. So .212 ALSO doesn't work ?

For me, NO Install the Root_Me backup, but nothing changes

Just got a popup for mine too (non LTE AT&T version). Forgive my ignorance, but if I run it, I assume I lose my nice and tidy root.

Root is available for unlocked boatloaders, not for locked.
Only reason to root would be remove bloatware, which isn't even slowing the phone down

I can confirm this is working on LT30at in US on AT&T. Was a bit tricky to enable LTE, but figured it out by searching the forums.

Hi here a small contribution to the community.....there are many roms based on c6603 and and i didnt find stock rom for c6602 .253 firmware...so here it is with added docomo status bar mod....press the thanks button if it helped
How to retain root and install on locked bootloader[/B]
flash .434 ftf using flash tool root it and install cwm recover
reboot to recovery and install zip from sdcard....dont wipe anything!!
now as soon as install is complete dont reboot..choose again install zip from sdcard and flash supersu zip file
reboot now and voila u have retained the root
power off phone and flash kernel and baseband from .253 ftf
install NUTS dualrecovery and enjoy

Not to be insulting, but then there's no real point to this rom over the 6603 roms right? I flashed an 6603 rom on my 6602 before and the only difference is i can choose LTE now (which ofcource doesnt work)
Just to be sure, cause the baseband of the 6602 is different than the 6603, so i'm scared to **** that up with an 6603 FTF

The point is I want my phone to be recognised as c6602 not c6603.......I made this for personal use and I'm just sharing that's all........unless your familiar with flashtool there's no way u screw up your phone..... You can always flash back

Download .253 ftf from general forum and while flashing exclude everything except baseband and kernel......uncheck wipe data and cache and flash to your phone............the new kernel seems to be the reason for improved contrast in the screen.........flash DoCoMo v8 status bar to get the nfc icon working

may be, but update checker app which some XDA devs have developed it, showing...
Users of XSP already getting in UK, Malaysia....FTF links would be soon live...users are uploading them now...

Really strange...All brand shows the latest FW was 12.0.A.2.254...except Customized AU shows NO FILES AVAILABLE
