X over signal bars no matter what.

So my vivid is s-off. And ive flashed everyrom there is on these forums. Today when flashing from miui back to stock att ics rom, i no longer have signal. Software info reads my baseband, but under network it registers nothing. Even att said my phone isnt even showing up on there network. I put in my wifes sim and it didnt change anything. So it seems to be my sim card slot is fried? Or is there something im missing? Thanks

You may want to check to see if your apn settings are correct. There is a sticky in the development section with all the settings

Run your carrier's stock RUU. It smeels like a Radio issue.

You've either fried the antennae, or have a radio issue. Like ideaLduK said I'd run the stock RUU and then see if that fixes it, if not you might have the first problem I mentioned.

can you please tell me how to run the stock RUU? Im having a infinix pure and , after flashing miui7 , im having the same problem as mentioned above. i have tried flashing other ROMs as well , but the problem persists.

ROMs for SPH-P100 without Data Plan

I haven't been able to find a definitive answer to this question yet: Does it make a difference which JB ROM I flash on a SPH-P100 on which I am only using wifi? I have been using CM10 Nightlies, which are fine, but they do incorrectly identify the phone as Verizon. Basically, I'm interested in trying out some of the other ROMs.

if you aren't using data it won't matter. you won't be able to use the data anyway if your esn isn't registered to their network.

Just to be absolutely sure, would it make a difference if it's a GSM ROM?

I have 2 SPH-P100 on VZW and I had them on ICS9 and after updating it to CM10 my Mobile Data Stopped working on both any Ideas????

Any ideas to revert or make it work? I was able to downgrade to cm and still wasn't working I'm gonna try CDMATool and try with different IMEI and MEID. Do you know what did exactly bricked?? Baseband, modem drivers, or is just a ROM malfunction? An Volunteers to help me figure it out, lol

I was replying to the person who want to flash the GSM ROM into his CDMA device.
I personally have never encountered anyone who has done that.
Are you saying you accidentally flashed a GSM rom into your CDMA?
As long as you can still go to download mode, you should try to flash a stock CDMA rom that has a pit file as well, using Odin repartition or use heimdall.

Well I Flashed the p1c (CDMA) CM10 nightly. while I'm connecting to my WiFi it shows verizon wireless on the status bar. and if I go to the status it shows Network (Verizon Wireless) ,signal strenght (akward -4dBm), Mobile Network type (CDMA - EvDo rev. A:6, Service state (In Service), Mobile Network state (Disconnected) I turn off the WiFi and it stays in Connecting for 10-15 secs and goes back to Disconnected.
I tried heimdall and I was able to put the zimage and recovery. when I add the pit file it grays out, so I tried some of the One Click restock and it allowed me to go back to my NAND backups on CM9 but it just doesnt want to connect.
any other suggestions??

Help, For some reason im not getting cellular network

I was trying to install the only rom for the moto g, but for some reason it does not work so i get back to the stock firmware using all the fastboot commands, but for some reason i dont have cellular signal, i downloaded all the variants for the stock firmwares, and i cant get signal please help me i tryed flashing all modems no luck

I solved my problem, the problem was solved installed the latin america firmware,

i uptadet bootloader now have no carrier signal, even after flashing stock 4.4.4.Im from nextel Mexico

When you go to settings>Wireless & networks>More>Cellular networks>network operators does it find your carrier by searching?

Hehe, after posting that, I tried it and it actually won't do anything on my phone either excpet searching until I back out. On my wife's phone it does find my network though.

Hi, sorry for my bad english. I'm from Uruguay and I have a g flex d950 from antel. I tried the cyanogenmod at my phone, but it didn't worked well, so I flashed my phone with the original kdz. The problem is that now seems like it didn't recognize my sim. It says in service state that is out of service. There's no problem with my sim, and I tried with others sims, and it doesn't work too. I tried hard reset or flashing it. I also tried to activate the network service in the hidden menu, but nothing works. Someone have ideas of how to fix that?

Which did you use? JB or KK kdz? Dide you wipe the phone?

I flashed with ROM of d955, when i try to go back, flashing with kdz of d950 i cant. Since that i dont have signal, doesnt have IMEI, or anything like that.

after the update of march 2020 security update this problem is caused & Yes 2g & wifi Working Fine Please Please help :crying:

It is a long shot but go to settings/general management/reset/reset network settings, then reboot the phone.

I rely heavily on internet, and lose my not so many marbles left when without it, I feel your pain.
From what I am seeing trying to look into your problem, you have done all that is suggested, other than a service centre visit
Hopefully someone who has suffered but resolved this will comment and share the steps for you :fingers-crossed:

Have you check your APN settings?
Replaced your SIM card? (It might work on other phones but not on yours either to not sitting properly or something else. So try replacing it.)
Take your sim card out and try this.
Do a factory reset and flash firmware with CSC file (not home-CSC file, backup first. )
Let phone boot without sim card first.

You're not going to get CDMA to work on the F version of the phone as far as I know you can only use GSM that's why nothing that's being suggested is working. You need to get a GSM carrier sim card.

Ok i am trying to understand something.
Your device is SM-N950F/DS.
You are in india.
The phone can't connect to 4g/Lte after the security update. 2G and wifi is ok.
Before the update 4g/lte is fine.
You tried your simcard on other phones is able to connect to 4g/lte.
Is this correct?
May i ask how did you update to the latest firmware? ota, odin or smart switch?
