[Q] How to solve dead vibration of xperia z? - Xperia Z Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

After unlock bootloader and root, my xperia z is no more vibrate. Please help to solve the vibration dead.

Hey man,
I'd try restoring to stock to check if vibration will work. If it does, something in the process messed up your vibration. If after going back to stock it still doesn't work, you'll have to send it in for repairs.

If I'm not mistaken, repair your phone through the Update Service. It will return everything to stock.

I read that re-locking a bootloader with a custom kernel installed would brick your phone, is that not correct? I belive the correct way would to be to reflash your phone to stock using SEUS and then lock the bootloader?
I'm not saying that eagleeyetom is wrong, I'm fairly new to this type of thing but I do remember the unlockbootloader guide stating not to relock bootloader with a custom Kernel installed as you'd brick the phone. Just trying to help
thanks for help.
my touchscreen is broken. I wanna change it to the new one.
I should relock my phone, right??
Are they check the software?? I think i've got the hardware problem..
Yeah, you're right. You should first flash stock kernel and then re-lock.
thanks.. i'll try it..

It should do. Please tell us the error you get. However, if you are trying to flash that ftf file you do not do it in pccompanion, you need flashtool
problem still comes
iam flashing with no problems with flashtool, and the ftf works fine on my phone, then i take it to sony pc companion and trying to update it with it.
then i get an error that custom firmware is installed

OK, if you have unlocked your bootloader you can no longer use pccompanion.
That would have been explained when you went through the process of unlocking the bootloader.
is it possible to lock it somehow again?

yes, search for relock bootloader xperia v
But your warrenty is void anyway now.
found one
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2092227
found one, and seems like it works.
*#*#7378423#*#* says that it is "Bootloader unlock allowed - Yes"
and it is now updating, think it works
thank you alot!
now i can finally get sony to repair my screen that they destroyed when i send it to them

Probably not. You have voided your warrenty when you unlocked and relocking the bootloader willnot hide that fact.
You gave them your IMEI number when you unlocked, and you modified your trim area (That's why you lost drm keys) and relocking does not restore the TA.
PS, No need to say thanks in a post, just use the button.
oh okay, so it didn't really matter that i reset it to factory, they will still just give me the same message...
damn Sony, i will never buy a phone from them again...
seriusly they destroyed my phone at their repair service, but now i just have to argue with them, don't think that XDA can help me with this anymore then done now.

well if sony broke the screen you may have a case to get them to fix it.
But it is very clearly stated that you lose warrenty when unlocking the bootloader. I think all carriers do the same (If they let you unlock at all, Sony are very good at this and this is why they have been voted xda's OEM of the year for the past few years because they are so Dev friendly)
You just need to read the fine print a bit more carefully I think
well i dont think that it's too clearly stated, when they write that you may void the warrenty, it doesn't say that i void the warrenty, only that i may void it.
hmm yearh, Sony isn't that bad at all, and their products work...
well think it will be alot easier now to talk with Sony about the problem now.
is there some way i should mark this thread as solved?
hmm now i get a new bug after i did this...
I can't install apps from google store, getting error 403.

Are you are using cm on v20x? Then making stock wouldn't recover your warranty cause you have surely unlocked bootloader, which can not be reverted. If you still want stock, then just do a kdz flash using KDZ flasher not LGFlashTool.
Here:-
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2069723
This will make full stock exept for Bootloader. Then just do a factory reset.
I hope you know, how to find correct firmware.

I guess that I need to flash original bootloader first to get S/W upgrade mode. In fastboot mode phone is not detected.
About bootloader, I can relock it. Also it depends on the laws of each country if I lost warranty by unlocking or not.

This not detected thing looks like a CM bug, happens to everyone maybe. Don't worry about that. Just open and reinsert the battery. S/W mode will work then. This happened for me too.
Can you please tell me, how to relock successfully? And can I unlock again after relocking?
Still no success in getting to S/W mode.
EDIT: Finally

How "Finally"? Reinserting battery or flashing bootloader?
So, you are trying to relock? Please tell if you succeed.
S/W mode.
I'll send it into the service first with unlocked bootloader and only if it gets rejected I will try to lock.
I have some dust under the screen so it can be hardly affected by any software changes.

Xperia T Bluetooth and wifi Dropping

Hi All.
I have noticed that, on a daily basis, either my bluetooth or wifi freeze, then when I turn them off, they wont go back on without a reboot.. quite frustrating. First notices when out of the blue, the car handsfree couldnt contact the phone anymore.
Anyone have similar issues with the Xperia t?
David
Pleas provide us with more information. Is it all stock? Did you flash the phone? Gain root access? How long do you have it. And when was the first time this has occurred and what was the last thing you did with it. First of all try to repair your phone with Pc companion.
Sent from my LT30p, 4.1.2 stock, DooMKernel v7,root access, unlocked bootloader.
It had stock on it.. and it was happening, so I installed a debranded rom and I thought it was fixed, but its not.
I have it a month but its second hand. Will a repair with PC companion do any more than put a stock rom on it?
I have it rooted, but the bootloader isnt unlockable.

Should only repair things and put on back stock rom. If that doesn't help, you may have a harware prob.

Is it possible the phone is still under warranty? I have no idea
Probably it's still under warranty, I think you have at least 1year warranty with your phone.

Rooted device PCC repairing

Hi,
I have a Xperia Z1 with 5.1.1 which rooted and flashed with XZDualrecovery. Bootloader is locked.
However, due to a problem; I need to send this device to Sony service center to replace the battery. The phone is still 8 months old and is covered with warranty.
Can someone please guide me whether if I do a software repair via Sony PCC, will it do any harm to the phone since it has been rooted and has custom recovery? Or can I do it in the normal way and restore the phone to it's stock recovery. Is there any precautions to be taken?
