Skype Updated to include video chat!

You can now video chat on certain phones (Nexus S included)!
It works phone to phone, phone to iphone/ipad, phone to pc!

Just downloaded it, and video doesn't seem to be working on my phone.
But neither does Gmail push, but thats another story...
Can anyone confirm it working ?

Apparently the apk has been hacked to work on some other phones apart form the official ones.

Dunno about anyone else, but update 2.0.0.47 STILL does NOT give me video calling on my Nexus S 4G on Sprint.

Same. If you have a backup of a stock ROM try it on that.

I can confirm NS4G working with this version. Market version does not work. I'm on CM7.1 nightly 39 with netarchys 1.3.5 cfn. However, I HAD to lower it to 1300 MHz. 1400 MHz will freeze video after 5 sec. Just like gtalk video.

This worked for me too on my NS4G...only have tried to a MacBook though so far.

Just tried this out today and the quality was terrible both sending and receiving. Anyone have different results?

Can I use Note of international version with T-mobile to make phone call?

I just want to use to make phone calls, not using the data.

Yes you can because i did use tmobile service on my galaxy note when i was inthe US. Both data and phone call works

Force Rom 1.0 works
if you're using the Force Rom 1.0 you will have to download the HiddenMenu.apk and put it in your \system\app folder to get the ##3282# to work
works great on my Sprint S4

I haven't. I knew where the settings were in my 3D and it always seemed to help but this phone is so different I'm being careful with what I mess with.

Force 1.1 online, HiddenMenu.apk no longer needed. Dev posted links to the full ROM or a small upgrade patch in Force thread OP.

I'm on stock ROM, followed the steps in video, and works like a charm. Thanks Op.

Need help testing Root Call Blocker on N6

Hi guys. Im one of the devs making RCB, PP and CM. Ive had some unconfirmed reports that the apps are not working on the nexus 6. I dont see why not though. Could someone with the device please test it for me?
Just download the free version here and post your results and rom youre using.
Free and pro beta versions are attached (pro wont work without a license, its just for people who already own it).

I have been using your RCB app for yrs…paid long subscriber for my VZW S3, Note 3. I am out of town on travel mine arrived on Mon. I plan to install and test it before your ask but it will be a few days before I get back to home…late weekend.

I have the paid version. Should I update to the beta for testing? It seems to have been working fine since I got my nexus a couple of weeks ago.

I have been using the paid version of RCB since I got my N6 and have not noticed any problems.

I also purchased the paid version from the Play Store, and on my Nexus 6 it has been working okay so far.

So I am back...looks like you have some good feedback as well... me, working good its Saturday morning had someone from job call me it and it blocked and I got the icon that shows the reject

-pure shamu custom rom
-installed app did not do a TB restore you request not to do
-restored settings from backup made by RCB2
I am IT so I will get more action in the week after 5pm M-F when people try to call me but so far good. Do you need me try anything else or any other build. I am using whatever current paid version from Play Store

Thanks, much appreciated. If you fancy it, you could have a look at Private Place. Test the sms and mms sweeper - just send and receive a few messages. Try using both your sms app and PPs internal composer:

I also notice when I get a text from an unknown number in the past on my other phone RCB2 flags it as a number to be blocked if I want in notification area. How can I turn that off could that be the interference?

You can turn it off in the add numbers section of settings. What do you mean by interference?

RCB paid version is working great with me on my Nexus 6. I don't have any issue here.

Hello again guys, please test these new beta versions for me, ive attached both lite and pro.

Installed pro over my existing pro installation. If I make no response assume everything is fine. I have been busy of late and may not have time to reply.

I couldn't restore my data to the pro version so I tested the lite version on Nexus 6 stock LMY47I call and text blocking working great.

Version mismatch.
The base version is trial and upgraded to pro. So the backup is from a "trial version" what's why it gave me an error while trying to restore the backup.

It is a known issue and many of us are hoping for a fix. So to answer your question in short, no. However, if you use hangouts, you can configure your APN settings within the hangouts settings. This may help. Also forcing 3G when sending texts is a temp fix.
