my htc one x cant get the 4.1.1 gelly bean update ,when asked htc technical support about that , they asked me for IMEI num
、serial num and phone software num (1.28.415.9), then they said that my phone is running unofficial ROM and the stock ROM num of my phone have to be (1.26.707.2 ) so i cant receive updates , now i want install the official ROM in order to receive updated , which rom i have to download?
another problem : i have downloaded the (1.26.707.2 ) rom.exe, tried to install it on my pc but when i double click on it it takes no action ,i cant install it.iam running win 8.
phone info: cid :htc-044, current software num (1.28.415.9),phone Locked, s-on

Novelty called HTC S710d is, in fact, an exact replica of the HTC Incredible S, except for the fact that it is able to work in mobile networks of different communication standards - WCDMA, CDMA2000 and GSM.
Wheras HTC Incresible S - S710E Is only GSM Supported !!!
Rest specifications are same !!!
It is possible to root it... Consult the CDMA blogs too for any special requirements for getting it too root......
other than that you can try these !!!
Remove your stock rom by goldcard method and then upgrade to a diffrent rom from 2.2 to 2.3.3 (If ur on 2.2) ---- You can also stay on 2.2 and do these steps !!! will work fine !!!...
Then Try the alpharevx Beta scheme for Getting your phone S-OFF if it is S-ON !!!
Install a rooted custom rom Or Install busy box/Gingerbreak to root your ROM....!!!
It should Hopefully work !!!

Hi, the version of ROM here has support for Arabic language, and it is also the one of the most stable ROM's out here, and it is also based on the latest Official ROM (ICS 4.0.3).
In order to install it i recommend using my tool from the signature and the mini mini tutorial found here.
(Note that this tutorial was explicitly written for devices with ICS already installed and hboot 1.28, but you can easily change hboot and all those things following the tutorial down, and using the tool provided by me)

I am totally new to HTC flashing Roms to this model. Its a HTC incredible S S710e,
Details:
Firmware: 4.0.4
HTC sense:3.6
Software:4.12.720.1
Kernel version:3.0.16-g271fd09

BASEBAND:20.74.30.08833u_3831.18.00.11_M
i will list down its problem one by one.
1)If its not connected to the charger the phone restarts, but it wud work fine if its connected to the charger.
2) I want to flash a ROM just to see if its a software issue.
3) how do I know which country it can form as it was a gift to me.
4) know Which CID it is
5) I have XTC Clip. If i do manage to S-OFF the phone how do i flash ClockworkMod and install custom ROM.
I hope the above are noob question, but i really need asa p with this.

How to install cwm and Rom? Follow guide like everyone else.

Hi Guys.. I want to know if anyone can help me.. I have One m7 with 4.4.3 Stock android sense rom. Im using this outside USA so it is rooted and bootloader(unlocked, tampered) and S-ON . now if any one can tell how can I update my device through OTA ? what exactly I have to do .. Or if its not possible then How can I manually upgrade to lolipop or any other custom rom if I need. waiting for expert opinions
