On SuperOneClick, there is an option to unroot your phone...
Just click UNROOT on SuperOneClick !!!
Just update it with PC Companion.

Hello,
I am worried little about warranty issue. I have heard that once your root your phone warranty is void. So in order to keep myself safe from such hassles, i want to take the FTF or anytype of backup of my complete phone operating system / image backup just like symantec backup in windows. Is it possible ?
Please guide me how ?
Thanks..

No u need to unroot it first
When you only rooted your device on original software you can repair your system (read once again install) through PC Companion.

Hi all,
Just updated to Sony's latest offering .266 and, obviously, lost ROOT access.
Has anyone any info on how to re-root? I am on a locked bootloader and cannot unlock it.
Please advise? I have lost all of my custom settings and cannot change until I have root access.

There's no root method for locked bootloader for 4.3 as for now. Or you can try the root method by sir @jancsessz tho you'll need to downgrade it back to 4.1.2. Didn't work for me tho but worth a try :silly:

Soo first you'd want to downgrade to 4.1.2 which can be easily done using flashtool
And then use Doomlord's method. This one is for .245 and .254
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2405933
When you've done rooting you'll need CWM. Not sure about the original thread but here's the download link
http://d-h.st/Las
Extract and run the install.bat after rooting and you'll get both root access and CWM
Then follow the tutorial from earlier to update to 4.3 and voila! :victory:
It is a new update. Why are we so unpatience? Let the developers work on this!

First: please black out your IMEI in the picture
To your question: You have to downgrade to 4.2.2, download any .ftf file and root it using Doomlords easy rooting method. Install the dualrecovery and search for a pre rooted 4.3 or 4.4 rom

thank you for your reponce.
I have a problem during downgrad .... bootloop
and repaired with PcCompanion
but I'll try again
When I am in 4.3, i use the method flash back to 4.2 (kernel only) to root, then flash back to 4.3 (flash kernel only) follow this thread by Doomlord:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xpe...-rooting-firmware-10-3-1-0-t2386405?nocache=1
My question is: can I use this method with stock 4.4 (locked bootloader) ? if this possible, does anyone have stock kernel only in .ftf file ?
Thank you!

You have to wipe all the data on your phone, there are 3 boxes that have to be checked in flashtool
this is good
I do not understand why it does not work
I'll jump out the window
thank you

You're welcome
Report back if it worked
So I rooted Z1 with Towelroot a few months ago.
I dont know what happened, SuperSU suddenly fails to update the binaries and Permanent Unroot doesnt work , Freedom has problems with partitons. Root Explorer is read-only.
So I think my phone is half-rooted cos OTA says no, Root Checker, Titanium says yes, Busybox says yes but fails to install.
Do I fix it by rerooting? I dont wanna unlock bootloader (void warranty) and flash firmware. Or is there any way to unroot and reroot?

If it's about Freedom, NO, that's not the point.
Come on dont be a d**k, help him
OP, looks like your phone bugged
please reflash an ftf of 133 or 108, so u will lose root completely and u can do a complete root again
do not have to clear data in flashtool
