Hello,
I'm wondering what you did to customize your XZ. I don't mean just any app but stuff that changes the default behavior/apps off the XZ.
This is what I did:
Apex launcher with Minimal Apex Theme with the skin of Glasklart
HD Widgets to counter the loss the weather widget.
Photo of the day wall paper (not really an replacment customization but I like it )
Dolphin Browser + jet pack
Kaiten mail
Rooted, changed the status bar and button bar to black (gorgeous!) and Nova Launcher Prime as launcher!
Unlocker Bootloader, Flashed Doomkernel, overclocked to 1890mhz, undervolted, flashed 36p button size, and soon going to flash black bars
rooted, changed not n button bar to black, removed software i dont use/need
Rooted, removed some bloatware... and that's about it.

Hi xda friends...
After too many tutorials and so many practices now i succesfully made my statusbar transparent using apktool. But only few launchers like zeam, espier support native transparent status bar with static wallpaper. To get it transparent in.launcher pro we have to use multipicture live wallpaper. But as we all live wallpapers drain more battery and make the system a bit sluggish. We can get transparent using adw ex launcher but its not as smooth as launcher pro & also adw ex is not beautiful as it, so i prefer launcher pro.
So here i want some help from brilliant minds that is there any method to get transparent status bar with launcher pro without using live wallpaper.....?????
Launcher Pro + Multi Live Wallpaper = Transperant Bar
Awesome!
Well, I am using HTC Rom along with the launcher pro, can I still get a transparent bar outta that or do I need a MIUI Rom for that?
Can you please tell me the way how to get the transparent bar work using Multi Live in any ROM.

I thought launcher pro gave you a transparent status bar by default but i could be wrong...I use ADW Launcher Ex i'm sure the result will be the same. Use Live Wallpaper Creator and create a one slide Live Wallpaper, so basically a statiuc wallpaper...I've used this for a long time and never noticed any performance issue.
In adw launcher you can uncheck manage wallpaper internally to get transparency

Hello,
I found out that I can add Sense Widgets to the next launcher lite. They are full functional an resizeable.
In Apex or Nova launcher it isn't possible.
I was realy surprised that it is generally possible because in Sense 4 the widgets were integrated und Rosie, so why can I do it in Sense 5 and only in next launcher?

The calculator widget looks cut down
I resized it to add another widget

Hi,
This is pretty cool. Apparently you can use widgets and home screen settings from ADW, LauncherPro, LG TouchWiz, and HTC Sense with the next launcher. The details page of the Next Launcher at the Play store indicate;
We introduced the following permission to support our new function – Migrate home screen from other launchers
com.htc.launcher.permission.READ_SETTINGS – Migrate from HTC sense
com.lge.launcher.permission.READ_SETTINGS – Migrate from LG Home
com.fede.launcher.permission.READ_SETTINGS – Migrate from LauncherPro
org.adw.launcher.permission.READ_SETTINGS – Migrate from ADW Launcher
org.adwfreak.launcher.permission.READ_SETTINGS – Migrate from ADW Launcher EX
org.adw.launcher_donut.permission.READ_SETTINGS – Migrate from ADW Launcher donut
How cool. I did not know this could be done. Maybe I can switch away from Rosie now.

It's a decent launcher but still has 1 major glitch, like all the 3rd party launchers ... Non transparent status bar. The ugly greyish colour permanently is just too much for me, have to hide the status bar but it still annoys me when I unlock and it momentarily flashes grey before it hides ... Why is it not transparent on any launcher?

I am not all into theming but from what I understand the status bar has to do with the SystemUI and not the Launcher. I have a custom ROM with status bar tweaks and transparency enabled. I just installed Next Launcher and my status bar is transparent. Most of the time. Some apps it turns grey like gMail, Play store. But I think it is more that these apps have that screen area not drawn, and other apps I use, have that screen area drawn black.
The SystemUI is also why all the status bar apps on the Play store also do not have transparency. All these apps do is draw over your existing status bar. Transparent Status bar requires specific settings per ROM. Do correct me if I am wrong about this.
You're probably right dude, it just annoys me that in order to customize my phone how i like, i have to put up with that lol ... OCD is to blame but still, the little flash of grey is better than all the time.
I just flashed 4.2.2 and it isn't possible anymore...

Hi!
I have Sense5.5 Android 4.3 with root and I have installed Nova Launcher, then Holo Launcher HD and then Apex Launcher and then I uninstalled that all.
In the end I noticed that the status bar is now transparent but I don't want it like this. I don't know how to get it back opaque.
I´m using Nova Launcher and i really want to use the theme Tri Flat aswell, but when i apply the Tri Flat theme when i have Nova as my launcher this happens:

(Notice the grey area down at the navigation bar)
And this is how it looks when im using Xperia Home as my launcher:

Basically, i want the transparent navigation bar for the theme even when im using Nova as my launcher, is that possible?
As I remember Nova launcher has transparency option in settings.
Try to search a bit in options and put transparency on and off to see what's the best combo in Nova + TriFlat

any theme that change the lockscreen clock style and position? and let me use a custom image as background(cause all vivo themes dont let change the background and only let use the stock)
i love the origin ocean´ style but the card on bottom lockscreen its awful
You can use the preinstalled theme (wood + white background image) to get rid of the ocean card on the lockscreen.
Use NOVA 7 Launcher with KWGT widgets and your creativity.
