Also stuck on White HTC Screen
**Fixed** I used the method I found in this thread -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1639542
Thanks to everyone the helps on this forum, it's an awesome help for people like me!**
Today I attempted to root my HTC Velocity, I'm with Telstra and my phone was running an original Telstra version of Ice Cream Sandwich.
Now when I try to start my phone it gets stuck at the white HTC screen. I am able to get into HBoot (I also wasn't able to disable the NAND security) and Recovery. Unfortunatley I didn't make any sort of backup in the recovery program.
I know there are plenty of warnings and its my stupid noob mistake for messing around with my phone when I didn't know what I was doing but at the moment I'd really appreciate if someone is able to help me.

I hope this help.. .I had the same issue. .sometimes if I hold the power button for a while the cellphone power on normally, but a couple days ago It stuck at the HTC screen. .I opened and released that if I pushed the front camera connector it runs correctly. ..After that I had to use a small welder. .if u need more details just let me know. .
Hey Everyone,
This is something that i'm not quite sure on how to fix, but i've given it my best "Apple owner" attempt. I've just moved to the Velocity from the iPhone so I'm still getting used to how this android stuff works.
Basically, I sent my Velocity away under warranty because the internals shorted out. The phone came back, working brilliantly, until I wanted to use it as a Hotspot. When i turned the Hotspot on, the phone locked up and as a result the WiFi is stuck on "Turning-on Wifi". This occurred after running the OTA update from telstra, taking the software number to 3.44.841.3.
The phone says that the WiFi and Bluetooth MAC Addresses are "Unvavailable"
I have tried factory reset, clear storage, some "WiFi fixing" apps, downloading the RUU's and doing a little bit of research and I've had no luck. The RUU's complain that the version of the Bootloader is too new..
There could be something really simple that I need to do to fix this, but i'm just not sure. Can anyone help me?
is your phone rooted? Unlocked bootloader? If the phone is basically stock, then you probably are best off contacting your vendor.

Hello Forum..
First, I'd like to acknowledge the great All-In-One tool posted for this new phone. I have been rooting Android since the HTC hero and have always trusted this site for development info. That being said...
I am having problems with my brand new HTC one... After using the All In One tool, my booloader is unlocked, but above the "Unlocked" info is says "Tampered". Also.... I cannot flash the TWRP so I can boot to recovery. After the CMD screens, is says flash is successful, but when I try and boot to recovery, I get the HTC screen with the pink font saying "Entering Recovery" but then my HTC One just shuts off. I then have to hold down the power button for at least 45 second b4 the phone turns back on.
1. What did I do wrong, and can this be fixed??
2. I see I can re-lock bootloader with tool, but there is currently no Factory RUU for Sprint yet????
3. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

1. I actually had to flash recovery twice to get it to work. You may have to do it more. I dunno. Just keep flashing and trying.
2. Nope no ruu yet. Itll be soon I suppose. 3. No problem.

Wow....thanks for the fast response... I have been trying to flash the TWRP several times... but it just wont boot to recovery. My phone just hangs and then shuts off. Then I get the "Sprint" splash screen and start-up
Did you have any insite on why I get the "Tampered" indication along with the "Unlocked"??
Im assuming its because youve flashed twrp. Mine says the same.

Make sure you are using the right gui for the all in one tool kit. There are two for the One. If you aren't using the spring version then it won't work.

I got boot to TWRP....FINALLY!! I guess it would have worked out better for me If I had used the HTC One "All-In-One" tool that was specific to Sprint...DUH!! I used the Generic HTC One M7......
....Im Unlocked, Rooted & ROM'd.
This site/forum is just Awesome!!!

Hi CPTHook,
I got similar kind of problem in my HTC one. I'm not that technically sound. I simply updated my HTC One's softwares over wifi and after working well for four five days my HTC One (M7) sudden;y stopped working. It gets struck either on start screen or bootloader when I start. There are two flags:
**Tampered**
**Unlocked**

My phone is kind of dead since 4 months. Please help me out. I'm very sad. I'll be very grateful to you for this.:crying:
Have splash screens been figured out yet? Had a really nice one on my evo lte, and would love to have it back.
Pretty sure it requires s-off
The One

The boot up splash screen? You can replace it as normal.
Sent from my HTCONE using xda app-developers app
yes the boot up screen, before you get to the boot animation. Id appreciate any help, thanks in advance
Try connecting your phone to your computer in fastboot mode and then run
Code:
fastboot oem ?
Then take a screenshot and post that here, and I may be able to help you.
So I have been having lots of problem with my phone. I just flashed the RUU and was able to revive the phone after 2 months of trying. The phone boot up and I got everything setup like you would after a factory reset. Then suddenly it crashed and turned off. I booted into bootloader and tried to go into recovery. Since then the phone is stuck between going into recovery and the htc logo. I can't turn the phone off and I can't get into bootloader. I know after 2 months trying different things that there is a major hardware problem. I'm passed the warranty and out of $600 for this phone. So I'm just messing with it now. Any ideas on what I can do to get into bootloader? Even though I won't be able to do **** cuz it will crash again.
I'm looking for a motherboard if anyone knows where to get one.
