I want my optimus black to go in fastboot mode.
I have tried Quick Boot and AnRebot from Google Play, but the apps just reboot the phone normally, when I press bootloader
Any suggestions how I can boot my phone in fastboot mode
EDIt: you can't get in fastboot mode.

There is no way yet... seems like lg removed that feature. What do you need it for?

Thanks for the fast answer. Nothing I can't do with other methods, I just prefer fastboot

While in fastboot and plugged into use (using our special fastboot)
Code:
fastboot oem fb_mode_clear
That's it, no more Sticky Bit
What exactly does this do.

If you've ever played with fastboot and afterward it booted into fastboot every reboot, this is the fix. If you have or had this problem you know what this does and how annoying it is.
One bit of advice make sure your using a Motorola data cable. I couldn't get this to work without one plus I couldn't do fast boot to push files or nothing

Very True. I've only used the usb cables that came with my Moto Bravo and Atrix HD. I prefer the Bravo one because its about 3 times thicker than the AHD cord. Or a Motorola Factory Cable....I really need to get one of those.
If you look inside your XML of the sbf it sets sticky to on. Then if something messes up during flashing you'll go right back to fastboot to do it all over again. Sometimes it gets stuck on of the off command doesn't execute and that's what the command in OP does.

That explains why I had to use rsdlite. Using an "Onn" usb cable from Walmart and fastboot complains about a download limit then fails on system.img

The Download Size Error is from using the SDK's fastboot. You need to use the snapdragon fastboots or you'll get errors when flashing a lot of our partitions. Those are the only fastboots that fully work for us.
I used the fastboot from your thread, but I put it in the folder of my Kindle tools. That could be it.

Hi, all. A friend gave me his son's RAZR M (Verizon, US) phone which he totally bricked. I've tried to reinstall a recovery partition, etc. using Motofail2go and Motopocalypse, to no avail. The Daemon runs and just hangs there. I have no way of knowing whether USB debugging was enabled on the phone. The phone stays at:
AP Fastboot Flash Mode (S)
10.9B(*) (sha-1e9f557, 2013-03-22 09:18:22)
eMMC Info: Size 8GB
Device is LOCKED. Status Code: 0
Battery OK
Transfer Mode:
USB Connected
Fastboot Reason: Flash Failure
usb connected
Any ideas how I can get past this?
Thanks in advance.

Yeah if you can get into AP fast boot try to rsd lite back to stock
Sent from my XT907 using xda app-developers app
since you can get into fastboot your should be able to salvage this. Can you get into stock recovery to verify if your rooted or not? what is happening when you try to run Motopocalypse to unlock the boot loader? Have you tried using Matts utility http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2249773 to do all this work for you?
I had a similar error when I tried to downgrade my Electrify M by RSD'ing an early version of software. (I found out later its not possible to RSD "down") Anyhow, I was able to get rid of the "flash error" by flashing a new boot image. This "tricks" the bootloader into thinking all is fine. There's some info on flashing boot images here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2340764
As for Motopocalypse / MotoChopper etc., they need to be ran from a "booted" phone. If all else fails, RSD back to stock.
i think the razr m utility1.2 can save your phone http://pan.baidu.com/share/link?shareid=2491749448&uk=201633670

You Dont Need USB Debugging To Be On To Do AP Fastboot, Device is LOCKED. Status Code: 0 Means That The Bootloader Is Still Locked.
Also Try To Use A Droid RAZR Utility.
Do you have the stock usb cable that came with the phone? I had the same issue with my phone; it might just need a charge..
Sent from my XT907 using xda app-developers app
I may be delayed but... if need be and the battery is dead you could buy a factory cable or the team black hat factory adaptor.... if budget is an issue make your own found here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1077414) using a spare USB cable it does work I have made one used on the xt 894 and xt 912 I have yet to use it on the 907 yet I'm sure it works the same...

Is It possible to get some ones back up of 7.3.0 and restore my 7.4.3 to it using the the fastboot cable?
Sent from my KFTT using xda premium
As long as u can boot up all the way you don't technically need a fastboot cable, but if you do use a fastboot cable, ignore the command it says to run on step 2. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1951254

Kindle Fire HD 7'' Red Screen
Hello, I came here to see if I can get some help with fixing my KFHD. The problem is, everytime I boot it, it shows a red screen and I have a fastboot cable so any assistance will be great.
hey mate. I have exactly the same problem. .did you solve it?
Sent from my GT-I9300 using XDA Premium HD app
Red screen I believe is a mismatched boot loader issue best I recall, I think using the fast boot cable and a restore utility is the quick fix.
