CM themed so no camera won't work
Sent from my Atrix HD using Tapatalk 2

Its the actual Samsung "vibrantcamera.apk" which is indeed portable, I just need the right libs and framework which I have not yet found. Lg optimus one got it working, and if they're community can with crappy old armv6 device, we can too.
Sent from my Droid Atrix HD MAXX using xda app-developers app

Just a question... does anyone really even want s-voice anyway? Its a pain in the buns to port the new update. If anyone wants screenshots of the old build with s-voice working and stable to decide I can put 'em up. Thanks in advanced.

Any ideas as to why WiFi might randomly quit out then come back?
Sent from my Droid Atrix HD MAXX using xda premium

Yeah I fixed it it'll be in next weeks upload. (Probably wed-fri)
Sent from my DROID Atrix HD MAXX using xda app-developers app

Awesome. Are you fixing the settings colors too?
Sent from my MB886 using xda premium

Yeah I just upload the wrong test (only difference is that.), lol I wanted to see how it would look with a white/gray background and black text like HTC, but then I quit modifying the XML text color codes because I'm so lazy lol. If you want to fix it in the mean time before the update you can open up fw-res sys apk the stock mb886 4.1.1 then take holo dark PNG inside of the sys framework and put it in framework-res.apk from my ROM, flash it and you should be good. It'll be touchwiz style black/white/blue settings in the new update.

Yeah compiling making a web site to host this on. I should have it up in addition to a new rom (maybe miui) by the end of the the week or first thing next week because I have to do some studying.

Other than WiFi being bipolar, I like this rom.
Sent from my Droid Atrix HD MAXX using xda app-developers app

Thanks, everyone just know I'm trying to add some stuff before I just make a little fix. If I can get everything good It'll be up tomorrow or I might stay up and get it uploaded tonight.

People are eagerly waiting for ur roms,
I would suggest you to complete one project before starting other.

This is my only rom for atrix, other than a discontinued port, which I shouldn't be doing anything for the pansy maker of that rom so I just stopped with that one, the problem is I dont have my atrix I loaned it to a buddy of mine with a bricked gs3. That as well with studying and a family emergency that happened last night. I'll try to modify it and confirm with adb but I dont even know if that works, I just heard about it.

Take your time bro.
But test on ur had before releasing

Alright. I just got my phone back and I keep trying to patch a .patch diff if I email some one the fw-res.apk and the sgs3 lock screen .patch will someone patch it for me????? I have no idea how to do it. ( I'll give credit if it works!) After I get this figured out, or not, I'll upload the fixed version.
Edit: Got it coverd, the siii wont work, do I'm getting someone to help me get the LG optimus 4X lock on it

Sounds good will definitely test out this rom once its done.

After a nights sleep, I have a really ghetto solution to use that java patch --
Compile unpatched RAZR HD CM10
Patch the RAZR HD CM10 source
Compile Patched CM10
Diff the two zips, find the different framework files, diff their smali, and try to apply the created smali patch on our stock smali.
From the java code referenced in the patch, I think the only frameworks modified will be framework-res.apk, framework.jar, and android.policy.jar.
That sounds easy enough, but would take 4 hours just to compile both the roms and an unknown amount of time applying the patch to source, and a lot more time diffing everything.
Other than that, the only other way I can see that patch working is by getting our SourceForge sources merged with AOSP and getting that compiled into a fully working rom. If we can do the SF idea then we'd have an Atrix HD source base to start making custom roms from.
Crap like this is why I'd like manufactures (not just Moto) to be more transparent in their Android sources. How hard would it be for them to post the stock rom source code on Github, a manifest, something?
Dear Android Manufactures,
See what Sony's doing on Github? OK. Now you do that too.
Sincerely,
The Entire Android Community
PS.
Unlock the bootloaders, especially your unsupported devices.

I'll test it out for the next build but I'm just gonna put the fixed in right now. This lock mod is complicated to me lol. I have to get that Linux mint now first. After that I'm gonna try to put this lock into an miui rom instead as I'm trying to keep the theme of gs3 / xperia. (But it would be great to get it working on here.) I heard the bb10 lock is much easier to port over.
Thanks

Everything's awesome except there's one thing I am nitpicky about...when the phone is in landscape, boxes outline the main dock. Is there anyway to fix that and still keep the launcher? (Other than getting a new launcher; adw, etc.)

you could probably manually edit the images for it.
Can someone who has come from cm7 nightlies please tell me what is different/better about this build? I know this is built independent of CM, but I'm trying to gauge if the differences are enough to warrant flashing this and restoring all my data and apps. Thanks.

Where might I find the files for that? And any particular reason as to why you did it? Doesn't bother me that much, I'm just wondering if there was a practical reason for it.

Well.
AOSP Laucher2 doesnt support landscape by default.
When I enabled that setting, it threw some stuff off. The landscape drawable werent updated for gb, so the launcher in landscape had the froyo buttons, kida white-ish and translucent.
What i did was take the images from the portrait verison, and swap those in. The result isnt perfect, but its better than no landscape and/or froyo images

Ive reflashed OMFGB, booted it, then went back to recovery and flashed GAPPS seperately, still no luck.
Any suggestions?

Android is all about choices. And here's another choice for AOSP ROM:
"AOKP" (Android Open KANG Project) is a built from source ROM similar to CyanogenMod (but different).
I didn't create AOKP, I only ported it to the Droid 3.
You can visit the AOKP website here:
http://forum.aokp.co/
Their developers include: Roman, Zaphod-Beeblebrox, Whitehawkx, and more.
The future of AOKP is quite bright as new features are popping up all the time.

U can turn scrolling cache off in settings under rom control and then all the way to the bottom performance. It smooths a few things up but intensive scrolling apps like twitter and facebook depend on scrolling cache..so its a trade off

This runs great. Been running the test build you had. Haha Nice work Tim!
Re: [ROM]UNOFFICAL][4.2.2 JDQ39] Baked Black Bean 8 [WIP]
Love the rom so far. I did have to use justun bean for 4.2 to get everything inverted, but no real issue. Nice and smooth. Nice work Tim.
Well, looks like something else I am going to have to try .. will let you know bugs and all that I find Tim .. thanks.
One thing that might be a pain is getting the new bluetooth stack to work with our bluetooth hardware .. that is going to be a tricky one. I thought I had it at one point, but then the phone started bugging out, so I went back to square one and now can't get it to build.. LOL .. gotta love Linux some times huh>?
Really stoked about how much love this device is getting. Flashing now, will report any bugs. Thanks!
Re: [ROM]UNOFFICAL][4.2.2 JDQ39] Baked Black Bean 8 [WIP]
3rd party camera apps were not working correctly. I flashed my camerahal ( the one that camcory posted in op's ) and low and behold they all work again. I would either post the camerahal to op or incorporate that lib camera.so file in with your build. Just a thought Tim. Thanks for the ROM. Great work.

Another thing I have noticed is that I can't use WiFi. All it does is set there saying turning on WiFi and that is it. But then again, it has been that way with all 4.2 ROMs though.

It does the same thing as the newest 4.2.2 Rootbox.
Re: [ROM]UNOFFICAL][4.2.2 JDQ39] Baked Black Bean 8 [WIP]
If you click turn on, to actually have it work you need to reboot the device. Root box is the same. But its working in Smartguy's CM10.1 a small annoyance. But it does work.

[2~ROMS][4.1.2] Xperia Z Feel AND SGS4 Feel!

This is an Xperia Z creation taking inspiration from numerous Xperia Roms across the xda planet! And here it is:
Rom is cm10 based so all bugs from CM10
No CRT but check the CM10 with CRT for flashable zip and test it!
Clean install for me guys, but make a backup..
So Heres the Build #1: Keyboard is broken
Heres how to fix Keyboard: Flash this after!
Gapps for jb: Gapps for jb
TW5
CRT Animation, smooth, IME bug (no Biggie, install custom keyboard or the xperia one above ^ or the TW one! fix in next build)
No need to theme for TW, S4 launcher, NC, Lockscreen is being an ass, slide from middle to upper right to unlock so i suggest a custom locker till next build!
Use those Gapps^^^^^^^^
Heres Build #2 of it, beeen working on it and sat on my HDD for a while now but: Here it is
Heres the Keyboard: USE the xperia one from above till next build ^^^^^^
I'll update with credits and if someone would like to supply me some screenies from their device i'd be grateful!
Update later, enjoy guys!!!

Ill add screenies after flash
Downloading now, will flash later, I'm sure it'll be awesome
Edit:
Have installed and I am very impressed! ROM is very fast and has taken the barrage of reinstalls well. UI is very nice and dpi changes give a nice relaxed while professional feel to the ROM, feel free to not change! Haven't encountered any FCs yet and have looked at themes and contacts etc. (the usual suspects ) but all seems to be well. A good job well done!
Edit #2:
Found those bugs! There is a theme FC when using themes for the launcher from the home-screen, but no FCs so far in choosing themes from the settings menu. Another FC occurs during picture taking, where only one or two pictures can be taken before an FC, will use different camera app for the time being. These are the only bugs so far!

It's seriously smooth, some things feel a little bit big tbh, i may have to change the dpi to 150 because i've got some sizing issues, but these will be fixed in the next build! Gonna slowly add in some build.prop tweaks but i think placebo is getting to me a lil with these "tweaks" give me some feedback bro!
I have just flashed it... And it looks amazinggggg btw i tried to change which keyboard to use and settings crashed..

Don't change the keyboard, because it will crash! you have to use the one above, flash it and then leave it xP I'll fix in next build
