[Q] WiFi with kernel nAa-08

Hi everybody
I've just installed nAa-08 kernel on my X8 but I have WiFi problem.
When I try to active WiFi, I get an error. The status is "unknown".
It seems it's because I've not the WiFi driver from source installed.
So where can I find it ?

What is your ROM?I think you need a ROM which used to build WiFi from sources.

nAa kernel only works for nAa rom only.. :/

I finally installed MiniCM 7 and I don't have problem any more.

WiFi hotspot & Semaphore... How?

Hello...
While i was using ICSSGS Hotspot worked OK
Now I have SlimICS and Semaphore kernel and although i have enabled netfilter (copied the script to init.d, Semaphore app says it's enabled) when i connect my ipad to hotspot it says that internet is unavailable.
I would have posted this to Semaphore or SlimICS thread in Development subforum but i don't have enough posts

the problem is SlimICS dont yet fixed wifi tether
semaphore kernel no problem with icssgs and teamhack samsung

WiFi tethering - MiniCM7 2.2.0

Hi, and firs sorry fot the horribel english i got the new nAa kernel 11 + newest MiniCM7 2.2.0 shakira . All works greate just for the wifi tethering when i use GPRS+WiFi tether i can conect to the hotspot from any laptom an the connection is stable but when i use 3G+tether the phone needs to be pluged in to the charger otherwise wifi keeps disconecting all the time.
Anyone got an idea whats wrong or did someone encounter this problem ?

[Q] How to change GingerDx WiFi driver...

Alfs 08-cm7 is new and for "standard" cm7 roms with tiwlan(wifi driver)
So yeah does anyone know how to change WiFi driver? I`m asking this cuz my phones WiFi doesn`t work very good with GDX WiFi driver and with alfs for GDX
I would like to use GDX with alfs for CM7 and tiwlan(wifi driver)... I don't want to beleve that I'm alone with this problem.

dude...they're the same...just the wifi drivers differ...if it didn't work on that kernel, i doubt changing all the drivers will change anything

The same? If u use gdx with alfs for cm7 kernel u get WiFi error cus of WiFi driver.

then use alfs kernel for gingerdx... not CM7 version, no other way i know at least

I was talking that my phones WiFi don't work with non cm7 roms very good so why would I use gdx with alfs for gdx?

GingerDx V29 + NAA 14 problem.........

why i use Gingerdx v29 + naa14 ........ the wifi cant use.........how to fix it ??

Try to reinstall the ROM with full wipe.

Ginger dx uses other wifi than other cm7 roms. It has the same wifi like stock eclair. nAa doesn't support that wifi driver so you must use alfs gdx or linuxDX. There is no way to run wifi on nAa14 and gingerDX.

Since v029, GingerDX supports nAa kernel. I'm running it now and wifi works fine on GingerDX.

If still not working then check your router. If thats ok try other roms to see if wifi works. If wifi doesnt work then there could be something wrong with the phone(very unlikely to me)

now i lazy change it.........now i use alfs09..........it all working
