[Q] How strong for the vibrate mode on ONE - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Anyone one can share if you put the ONE in vibrate mode, and you receive the SMS, how strong the vibrate will be?
In the One X the vibrate is not so strong, and it only vibrate for very short time. If you put the phone in pant's pocket, may can not feel it.
I had a HD2 before One X, its vibrate is very good.
Thanks!

There is a very simple edit you can do to policy jar to increase vibration.

Boosting Handset Volume.

Hello everyone...
Was just curious if anyone knew of a way to boost the volume coming from the ear piece on this phone? I have the I9000M.....
I have some hearing loss and find that the volume is a tad too low and I am constantly having to ask people to repeat themselves.... before you say it... yesssss, I have used the volume button...
I was reading the thread on the using the service mode app to change the ear phone audio... thought there might be something in there...
Thanks for your help in advance.
Maybe try posting this in the general questions forum instead of the developers forum?

I forgot to mention the change is not permanent and it will reset to default values if the phone is rebooted!

[Q] How Did I Screen Capture On Stock T-Mo Vibrant?

How the heck did I screen capture on a stock out of the box T-Mo Vibrant?
There have been times when I am going through my menus kinda fast, and them I hear a Camera Click, them I find that I made a Screen Cap. I have a folder labeled "Screen Captures" and in there are picture of my screens. I thought I need to be modded and rooted to do this? I however as stated have never touched this phone as it is a company phone.
short answer, nobody knows how to consistently.
Answer that question and you'll be the first to.
It's a mystery. I believe it is a strange key combination when the phone is lagging.

Yes I can confirm there is a Death grip for Wifi, when you hold the phone tightly on top side it lose wifi signal upto to 30%
you can download free app "Network signal info" turn it on and turn on wifi and tightly hold the phone from top side so you can cover from sim try to volume button sude tightly, but generally very less people hold it like that way
But I should say that there was no need of a new thread for this. You could've posted in mega thread

no you are right too. but as i said lots of people are interested if there are issues with it. i had death grip issue with xperia p if i find that HTC One has i will cancel my order. my business is from home most of he times on phone clients to book villa i cant afford losing a call.
No death grip here, people will say anything to knock HTC down. Seriously no problems here.
This shouldn't be a problem with the One. The antennas are invaded in the plastic strip on the back of the device which are molded to the aluminum unibody, they are not under the aluminum which is what causes the "death grip"

[REQ]Soft Keys + Always On

Is there a mod or quick edit I can do that will make it so the soft keys are always on when the screen is on?
Mine shut off randomly. I can't even figure out the pattern to it.
Any help/ideas?
On top of this..
I could have sworn I saw a mod somewhere that changed the volume from 7 to 30 different values.
This would be great for picking that 'perfect' volume.
Can anyone direct me towards that as well as the softkey question?

No need to repeatedly bump a thread. It's not that old.
Check the development threads. There's an HTC One mod pack, but I don't remember if there are light toggles in there. I'm sure some ROM or mod exists for it though, as this is a fairly common request for softkey-equipped phones.

I didn't repeatedly bump it. Just had a lot of views with no replies. I've been around for a long time.
I did look. Didn't find it. That's why I posted this thread. Thanks for the help tho.

Found the Volume mod!
Unfortunately, it's for the international One. I wonder if anyone could get it to work here?

Consider nandroid and then give it a shot? It doesn't look like it would interfere with anything radio-related.

[Q] Power Menu after lollipop update

I updated yesterday to lollipop. Everything is good so far. (Battery life, ill give it a few battery cycles to fairly judge it ) I noticed the power menu, when you long press the power button, the options to change the sound to mute, vibrate and sound are no longer available. Is there way to bring them back? I'm 100% stock and do not intend to root.
Please try searching......

I've put in plenty of work on XDA, my 6000+ posts wasn't all B.S. But, thank you for the link. Looks like I'll just have to live with the new power menu.
