I took this on the weekend in Bangkok using the Pro HDR Camera app on my Note. I don't know how to resize this in the post, so just open the photo in a separate tab to the whole thing.
It's a great app if you don't have any moving objects in your frame.
And it actually does 3 separate pics at -2, 0 and +2 exposures and then combines them.
A lot of other apps have a "HDR effect" but they just use a single photo and try to add in the detail by adjusting parameters.

[Wallpaper] Nexus S Logo

Hi guys!
I'm new ... I present you with these two backgrounds created by me, dedicated to our beloved nexus s ...
If you like ... I'm happy
Regards...
nice!!!

Looks good. Thanks man. I usually stick with all black. Now I can throw a little color in there to represent my nexus.
Edit: is there anyway you can make the background like black black. Its not a solid black, it kinda has a grey tint to it.

Could you upload one that hasn't lost quality. I'm a designer and I see the minor imperfections.

No this is all I have. I noticed it also but do like the design. I was using it as an example of black. I'll try and find a better one maybe.

Awesome. Post it?
If you crop it small you really can't see them on the phone. Much more noticeable in a screen shot and zoomed.

Can you make same version with only nexus logo without S?
Thanks.

So to add to this in a question.
Is there an app to restore distortion from the fisheye lense to flatten the image? Or would that bear be handled on pc?
I don't know sorry

I have the Photojojo lens as well, and they work well. I just dont like having the metal rings on my case.
A buddy of mine ordered this for his Note 2: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AV3ZUQA/ref=oh_details_o05_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Picture quality is the same as the Photojojo as far as I can tell. Main difference (other than cost) is there's no need for the adhesive rings, which I like. The mount can be difficult to secure with some cases, but works well.

[Q]Screen Quality

Hello people! I just got my HTC One yesterday and the first thing i noticed is the screen. When i look at it closely, in comparison, it looks the same as some touchscreen with smudges on it. Its so obvious if you have a clear eyes with white background like Facebook.
Ain't it suppose to be clear, bright and sharp because of 1080p and ppi of this phone? I was shocked because my LG Optimus G screen is way more bright and sharp than this one. I Don't know, any thoughts guys?
Mine seems fabulous
Sent from my HTC One using xda app-developers app
Turn the brightness to automatic or high, then go turn off power saver, or you could go to power saver setting to set option to do change screen brightness.
The one I'd do freaking awesome. So snappy

How to recognise JDC from Sharp?!

Hi everyone,
I realized that Sony Xperia Z comes in 2 displays; Japan Display (JDC) and Sharp.
And here's the question:
How can I recognise a JDC from a Sharp? I'm going to buy the phone tomorrow and I want my phone display to be JDC. Is it a way to know that except of comparing two of them side by side? I know there's an app for that, but it's probably not possible to install the app in the shop and test it!
So I hoped maybe there's another way to know that.
Thanks in advance.

its hard to know without root or the app
ask here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2182432
This doesn't matter. Coming from an xperia s sharp is very good too.

I think there's a way to know your screen manufacturer by doing *#*#service#*#*
Do google it up

I also have an xperia s and the z display is noticable better, though it has "less" contrast as some mention.
