[Q] MHL Cable - Galaxy S Advance I9070 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi people! o/
Is anyway how to use a MHL cable on the GT-I9070?
A friend told me that it needs an app called "tv-out", that is only on the GT-I9100 (S2) stock or stock-based rom...
Any1 experienced or tested that? knows any method to use MHL?
thanx!

Working Wii controler app

Hey guys, i was trying out some Wii controler apps from the market, but none of them seemed to work on the optimus.
Does anyone know of a supported IME?
Thanks in advance
AFAIK It won't work with Stock but it is working with Cyanogenmod. Don't know about MODACO...
Ugh, alright. I'm using a modaco rom, it'd be nice to know if there's a working app for this.

[Q] How to connect SGM to TV?

Hi,
I have Samsung UA-32C5000 32" TV and I want to connect my Galaxy Mini to it because I want to watch some movies from my SD card, but unfortunately my TV doesn't recognize my phone, I know it is a driver problem. How to fix this? I can't find a solution by myself, maybe some of you can help?
Thanks.

I don't see any HDMI port on Galaxy Mini, so i think it is not possible to view tv or play games or music on your tv. Unless you can connect via USB. But, that doesn't allow playing games. (You might be able to access your sdcard contents though, but not so sure!)
Usually I just plug in my USB flash drive to watch movies, but I don't have it around at the moment, so I was wondering if it's possible to read only from sdcard... (to use it like a USB flash drive)

Don't know about that (I probably don't have a Samsung TV and won't have it atleast for next 5-10 years, if any i would)... But, if there is USB port in your TV, then you might be able to play videos and songs in the flash disk. Why don't you try and see for yourself?
I connected my phone through USB cable but TV doesn't recognize it.
Sorry, works now!

*double facepalm* wonder the quality of 240*320 video on 2560*1600
Its awful
* super triple facepalm * Phone's screen resolution doesn't affect the movie's quality/resolutuion. lol. For example, my USB flash drive doesn't have display at all and I am watching 1080p movies from it.

It has a T-DMB tuner so if your country does not support the format, it is unlikely you'll get any channel up mate.
Thanks all for answers, it's a pity that it's wouldn't work in my country,
What about radio? Same problem like with TV?

TDMB, that's a pity
But aren't there any trick to replace tv tuner with some other, we've got here bunch of chinese mobiles with TV working... Or it would need whole bunch replacement of the hardware and software on the phone? (and no-one will ever try doing so)

[Q] Connect phone to TV

Hey. I was wondering if there was any option to connect our phone (optimus 4x) to TV, in my case the Samsung Smart Tv Es8000 ([samsung.com/uk/consumer/tv-audio-video/television/led-tv/UE40ES8000UXXU) .
If possible, what should I get ? (cables and that sort of stuff) . I wanted to share the screen with the Tv, for video streaming and gaming on a bigger screen. Any ideas?
Sure u can.. i use this cable http://www.ebay.com/itm/Micro-USB-M...-HTC-Sensation-G14-EVO-3D-flyer-/280766335892
And it shares the image with the tv ? Sorry if noob question ahah

Yeah video and audio, mhl connections are a mix of data and HDMI
if you want to share you phone with your tv, maby you could use the dnla option?
it's an easy way to share pictures/ movies on your tv.
for gaming i think you need the MHL indeed.
