Is there anyway to play m4a/acc files through the walkman app?

I need this too! I didn't think about this when I moved from my iPhone...most of my music is m4a

I think it cant be ported i dont know, maybe the only way to get it is by using the stock rom

It relies on LG's framework, so not possible at the moment.

Yes, it works with Walkman and MXplayer, but not with radio, sorry...

Poweramp and poweramp only. Although I've been playing around with voice commands in the stock music player - not bad. But not good enough to make me switch over from poweramp.

I use Music Folder Player - Simple, efficient with screen space, no unneeded chrome. I've got no complaints.
Only thing I wish it could do is play off an SMB share without mounting the share, with appropriate buffer sizing for playing over a network (doing it by rooting and mounting the share has skipping issues if network conditions aren't perfect... And it requires root - which i have now, but didn't have on my last phone)
