Currently the phone can't boot normally or into recovery mode, it only boots in download mode.
I think I've tried to flash like 10 firmwares from sammobile.
The problem started because I was on the CM10.1 rom and I tried to flash a stock firmware so I can take the SIM-lock.
I think I forgot to clear cache and Dalvik cache from CWM before I flashed the firmware.
So, after I flashed the firmware, the phone bootloops at the Samsung boot animation, and if I try to turn on the phone with the VolumeUp+Down + Home + Power combination, it doesn't do anything. The battery charges, there's no hardware issue, and the phone is detected by Odin ( if it wasn't, then how could I flash the firmwares? ).
EDIT1: If I hold them a little longer I get that RamDump thing.
EDIT2: Looks like I don't get the thing mentioned in EDIT1 again.
Thanks in advance.

Vol up+down+home+power= no recovery. Do some research before asking! Just go to recovery wipe data.

Re: S6500D doesn't boot nor get in recovery mode
I think I was misunderstood.
Wasn't the stock recovery combination VolUp + VolDwn+Home+Power?
I'm talking here about GM2, not the original one, where I think it was Home+Power.
And, as I said in the OP, I can't get in stock R.M. or a custom one.
Yes, I missed that you have stock recovery. Because you can have CWM+Stock ROM.
Nowdays I'm DERP. Maybe because I have almost no free time.
I think I realized why the phone acts like this: I forgot to wipe data before flashing the new firmware.
So the question would become like this: Can be data wiped from the computer ( e.g. using Odin or something like that ) and if it can be done, how to do it?
EDIT: I've Googled it, looks like I can't. But I guess there are some firmwares that delete everything, am I right?

I Have a similar problem as posted by someone else - but I can't reply in that thread yet so here it is:
Also SGS GT-I9000 - now stuck on white logo screen.
What I have done:
- phone was slow and very laggy so I wanted to install new ROM
- found out that 3bc didn't work so tried to fix that using a guide from SamsungGalaxySforums based on one from XDA (tried to post the link, but forum rules won't let me).
- now download mode works but recovery mode still doesn't.
- when rebooting without being attached to laptop it showed funny coloured lines first
- I tried this whole thing again and now my phone is stuck on white logo screen. Still able to get into download mode and flash, but no booting phone.
Any ideas? Should I flash a different bootloader?
EDIT: I had tried the Aries_P-SBL.tar.md5 bootloader and only got coloured lines.
Now using the EZboot-GingerBread-1.0.tar.md5 bootloader and getting a bootloader screen. Now making a backup of all my data first.
EDIT: After backup still hangs at white Galaxy S screen - so still no working phone! Ideas?
Turn off your phone and reboot into the recovery mode by pressing Volume UP+ Home + Power.
Then when in the recovery, select Wipe Data and Cache. Reboot when done. You should be up and running. Also, first boot may take a while so be patient.

It says in his post, recovery wont work, only download.
Sounds to me he has screwed up the bootloader.
Now you've done this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1089989
I now suggest you boot to download and flash a stock rom using ODIN.
just flash stock Rom using Odin and than you can flash what you want
I made a grave error:
Cyanogen installed and noticed that the speaker phone did not work, I went into recovery mode and tried to restore a backup, but gave error .. inadvertently restarted the phone and now he is on screen Galaxy S GT-I9000 wonder if there is any hope of saving my phone. Thank you.
Updated: I discovered something strange on my phone, it is actually a Samsung Vibrant with the firmware of the Samsung I9000 Galaxy S, as you can see in the image's (When trying to turn on the phone it stays on this screen, nothing else happens) ... If I try to download mode (up + vol down + power and put the usb cable), a screen appears with the symbol of loading frozen. I wonder who has the experience with brick, with the JIG can I get into download mode. thank you
If you can go to Download mode, no worry.
Flash stock ROM and continue to custom ROMs if you want.
But here is a great tip for you: do not use backups untill its really necessary. Backups are only for emergency situations.
First do a factory reset, wipe cache, dalvik cache, flash ROM again etc etc. But do not try backup file first

Your might want to try PWR + HOME to get into Recovery Mode screen, then Wipe Data (Factory Reset), when done remove battery, wait 10 sec., then insert battery and boot normally... has worked for me on the orphaned S5830D SGAce w/ DTLKI4 f/w. BUT, be aware, all user settings and installed apps are vaporized !!! Stuff on /SDCARD is safe.
Cheers,
help please

One package? Aren't you supposed to use the one with the 5 different files and not just one? To make a completely clean stock rom install, I mean. If that's what you want.
I think he(or she) want a stock rom only. You need to do a full wipe after flash with odin. Maybe touch recovery helps you, but i cant find any . You can go to download mode by "adb reboot download" , i think it cant success without wipe.
Or maybe try to flash a rom with 5 files as SuperAce609 said.
No. You can't flash 2.3.6 directly.
You need to flash 2.3.3 first , then 2.3.4 and last 2.3.6 using Odin.

the poor guy had his vol up and down button broke, and u suggest him to wipe data in recovery.
thing is his vol up and downn button doesnt work! so how can he navigate in recovery? lol
btw op, u said that u flashed onepackagee file via odin. so how did u manage to go into download mode in the first place when your vol down button is busted?
if u managed to go into download mode again, this time flash the full package instead.

My phone was running 2.2.1 Froyo. I tried to upgrade it to 2.3.6 using process mentioned here. http://androidadvices.com/update-gal...wktm-firmware/
The Odin completed successfully and restarted the phone. But the phone was running spanish language. I was getting an alert after every 3-4 seconds. But i could not read it as it was spanish. I restarted the phone and it went in boot loop. The phone keeps rebooting every 2 seconds.
I can't get into recovery mode but I can get to download mode.
I have tried flashing many ROMs from sammobile.com but none of them is working.
Hi,
I was trying to install 2.3.6 DDKQ6. The Odin process finished successfully and restarted the phone. But now the phone is in a boot loop. It keeps getting restarted after 2 seconds. I can't get to recovery mode.
I can access download mode but flashing even again (different ROM) doesn't work.
Please help me
Edited 10-22-2012: Still no solution found. I have tried many ROMS and even tried to flash stock recovery. Senior members, please suggest next step

Make sure the rom is in your region. Dont install a rom from another country. Try get to recovery mode with button combination. Search for more tutorials.

As long as ur phone is bootlooping, it can enter in stock recovery. So, take out battery, re-insert it, goto STOCK recovery & do "wipe data/factory reset" & wipe cache. It worked for me & for most of us too!!

I think
first comes the Samsung logo (no matter which ROM u have installed).
then comes your device logo (varies with the kernel installed).
then boot-screen.
If you press home+power button u will enter into the stock recovery console(if cwm or other recovery is not installed).
And if you don't press the home+power button then you will boot normally.
Be on the safe side
Press home+power button until u see the recovery console.
Most of the boot-loops can be solved by wiping up cache and factory reset.
Hope this will solve your problem.
Edit:
Try some after market ROMs they are way more fast and efficient than stock Samsung GB ROM. Try Apocalypse or
Democracy.
Just hold the power button and home button... release it when you see SAMSUNG.. flash the rom again if still you dont get any help...

Is it bootlooping? How long as it been on the boot screen?
Are you able to get in recovery? If so, reflash (dirty) right over CM10. If that doesn't work, get in download mode, flash stock KK4 with Odin then Corn kernel with Odin 1.85, from there, you can flash CM10 and the Gapps.

what is the method to get into Recovery without the power button? My friend just told me his button is janky at best? It goes to the white AT&t screen then sits on that screen the whole time never moves sometimes is goes black but just pops back up. We wiped everything so there is nothing to boot to. We were trying to just wipe everything clean and start over to just clean up the device. So what options do I have, or do you suggest? thanks again

The bootloop you are experiencing isn't really something that you did wrong. Going from ICS to JB includes a partition layout change and when you flash a JB rom the first time it will either reboot during the first flash or it will flash quickly(only flashing the new kernel and changing the layout) then when you try to boot you end up in a bootloop.
Now as far as getting back into recovery... my power button is jacked too so heres some ideas for you. If you do a battery pull and then replace it does the phone automatically power on? If yes then do a battery pull, then before replacing it, hold down the power and both volume buttons. Insert the battery while still holding them all. You should then see the att screen then maybe the kernel splash screen or itll just go black. As soon as you see the att screen again release all of the buttons and it will (hopefully) boot you into recovery. This has worked for me even though my power button doesn't work.
