Anyone see the PS4 event?

Looks impressive. No pictures of the console itself, no pricing, no launch date, just "holiday 2013". There is no backwards compatibility with your PS2 or PS3 disc's but streaming options are planned for legacy games. They never actually indicated this console will even have a disc drive..... could this be the first streaming only system?
Bungie is launching a "open environment shooter" called Destiny on the PS4. A new Final Fantasy game is coming as well.
Looks like they FINALLY took a page out of the XBL book and are heavily integrating other apps and entertainment as well as live game footage streaming.

Actually, I am. Got some friends and my little bro on the PSN. Might get it when the next gen comes out. I'll check it out later.

So one thread is supposed to cover all gaming? Next gen console launches certainly deserve their own thread. Who wants to read through comments about all the other platforms and games when the PS4 has been announced?

You won't have to read the whole thread, just the last 5 or so. It's a non issue though, the mods will decide if it's worth it's own thread.

They didn't say on the disk drive either way. But it certainly sounds like it could happen with all the focus on streaming, a second processor for background downloading and uploading, they push the fact you can start playing streamed games before the download is finished, the fact that it can't "natively play PS3 games". If it can play a digital copy of a PS3 game why couldn't it play it off the disc?

I don't see a problem with a thread about next generation consoles if there's enough interest in this discussion. However, I would suggest renaming this thread to encompass a larger group of members who might be interested in them. Focusing on just one PS4 event seems like a waste of a thread in a busy forum like this one. Opening it up to all discussions about PS4, XBOX 720 (whatever it's called), etc. would be a much better idea.

Apparently there's not enough interest here to discuss a next generation gaming console based on the fact that all anyone wants to talk about is the thread itself instead of the topic.
Of all places I figured there would be a large audience here for the latest gaming news. Odd.

Ram upgrade help

Hello, I am looking to upgrade the momory in my laptop. Its a dell latitude d600. Right noe its got one stick of 512. It can handle up to 2gb. Th info ive gathered online and at crucial.coms scanner syas that its ddr pc2700. So I went looking at new egg and found what I think I need. But when I looked at whats in my pc now it says pc2100. And ive also seen ram that says 200 pin and 184 pin. Which do I need or doesn't it matter? Ill post pics of whats in it now if that helps. Also will the pc 2700 work if the current says pc2100? Sorry if I seem noob like. Its my first time delving into the pc world as far as things like this. Thanks for any help.

The 2700 will work and you DO need the right number of pins.

There's not really a reason for a thread if it's just a link to a YouTube vid (which seems totally unnecessary since it's basically just a slideshow).

I suggest getting Tapatalk. You can search thru a huge array of forums, including automotive ones. I'm not sure of an automotive in general forum. Its more like forums specific to a certain automobile or class of vehicles.
