Hey folks, played some time with Sense TV and there is one limitation which sucks. If you setup your TV provider and the list of channels to show, SenseTV shows the list of channels in the order, the provider is delivering them. I have no possibility to change this order to my needs. E.g. I have CNN set on channel 12 but my provider has it by standard on channel 56. If I click on an entry within the EPG, the one change the channel to 56 instead of 12 (which) I need.
Did someone managed to change the order of channels (SenseTV --> Settings --> Channels)?
Sorry, I Don't think you can (someone correct me if I'm wrong).
Another limitation is where you setup two "remotes" with different providers, e.g. for UK, I have SKY in the living room and just normal freeview in the bedroom. However, I have to have SKY channels setup for both.
What they should of done is to have settings per room, instead of just remote so I can switch rooms and the content will change accordingly. If someone knows a way around that then please let me know.
It doesn't seem to work with many tvs either. It's got all the brands listed but I tried for a good hour and couldn't get my small LOGIK tv to work with it. It tried 3 different codes to try and pair but none worked so it told me to do it manually which didn't work either.

Strange, usually the manual method should work. All mine worked first time.

Yeah the manual setup didn't work for me... Could you tell me what you had to do? I it asked me to point the remote straight at the ir blaster and hold down the power button on the logik remote but the phone didn't seem to pick anything up

That's exactly what I did, it's tricky to line up though, it took me a few attempts sometimes.

I bought the above for my HTC one,I have set the 2 up and I'm really disappointed with the both of them.
At 1st it took 4 attempts to pair the A100 with my One, once connected and playing music ,I'd say every 10 seconds or so the sound will cut for a second and then kick back in, it automatically comes back on but it's very annoying and the fact I expected it to work flawlessly.
Once I connect the One to the A160 dock (with the A100 connected) the lag is beyond a joke theres a 1 second delay before the sound comes through my car speakers.
Anybody else experience this,I'd like to keep the both of them but when I've spent not far off £100 I expected a lot better to say the least

i had the same issue with all of my five BT-Devices. Disabling WiFi did the trick. As this wasn't any good solution for me, because i love listening to web-radio over BT, i should say that you can easily switch WiFi back on after you successfully connected to the BT-Device. It won't interfere then.
Problem is known to HTC and as i heart, it already is fixed in the OTA-Update that arrived in Taiwan.
Seems to have done the trick thanks for your help

It depends on what you use it for. The HTC app has the built-in tv guide but the app the OP mentions has other options and is a real universal remote.
It works the same way as the HTC app does. You give in what type of device you want to control (beamer, tv, home cinema, lights, ...), the brand, and if possible a model number. The app then tries some codes untill one works. I actually like this very much. I only use the HTC app for the remote functionality and not for the tv-guide so having this expanded to a lot more devices is interesting to me.
fully worked on samsung n8000

I don't understand why samsung has to make so many proprietary things... It makes things more difficult than they should be...

Thank you for posting the fix. Nothing worse than searching for help and finding a "NVM fixed it" without how it was done.

I'm personally not sure. I'm the only one I know that has NFC. :sly:

NFC is super slow. So far, Android Beam can only send LINKS, like Youtube, Drive, Play store, etc and small files like contacts.
S beam uses NFC to trigger Wifi direct. But that's only Samsung to samsung.
Unless I'm wrong. In which case please show me the light. I know of no effective way to transfer files from android to android.
Use the app SuperBeam for nfc and qr code wifi direct file transfers.

As of jellybean nfc initiates Bluetooth to transfer larger files but things like links and other small files like u meantioned use android beam.
As gk said I'd also recommend superbeam I've used it to transfer with a nexus 7 and works like a charm it resembles s-beam in a way as it uses WiFi direct

Which leads me to another question... Why in the hell does android have wifi direct but not take advantage of it? It would be so much better... Apple took advantage with airdrop or whatever new iOS 7 feature that is...

I think Samsung might of patented their s-beam which could be the reason y android used Bluetooth instead

So i was watching tv with my phone head facing towards the tv. I received a phone call and boom, the TV muted automatically. I tried it multiple times with the same result every time
Was this a known feature coz i've never seen or heatd about it before

Yeah. I knew about it. But the ir blaster has to be facing the TV.
Isn't this only a feature in smart remote? I didn't think it was built into sense.

thought so too... well known feature.
My device is running viper on kit Kat, going stock(4.3/4.4) has same problem, my WiFi is slow at my house, I get about 1-4 mb when my iPad gets 15-25. Same with friends iPhones/ android devices. So it seems like it's a router problem, different routers at different places produce good speeds, just not this. Just wondering if anyone knows what I can do here, I have a Comcast router/modem combo they installed saying it would be better. Seems as if it's better..Just not for my phone. Any help would be appreciated
