hello. I have a problem. I had installed on the phone cm10. Now I switched to cm 9 but since we locked in botloader and I returned with odin. recowery mode now you did not have the option install from sd / card only update. My problem is that now go phone but I can not install gapps. ie install it says the installation is complete, restart give when I see me many times with yellow writing including my error appears so: can t access system csc / CNX / system. and after I start the application from google. to say you've tried many variations and if you try recovery-clockwork-5.5.0.4-phone crashes every time. Please help ... (I tried many variations of gapps). thanks in advance.back with another caveat: any clockwork I try to install say installation aborted. and in the recovery mode screen down to write I / / / status = 0 / / /

Frist, sorry my bad english.
I have one Galaxy SGH i897 "captivate", after many tries to install a custom rom, i got it by rom manager method:

and i install the Cyanogenmod 10.2... but the default android keyboard don't work. so i make master reset with I897UCJF6 ROM (dont ask-me WHY?!?!)
after many issues with download mode...........

You should really follow the FULL instructions given in the ROM's OP if you want everything to go well.
When you flashed KK4, was it with or without the bootloaders? (you need the GB bootloaders if you used the non-bootloaders one).
From there, you'll need cwm, so flash Korn Kernel with Odin and following the FULL instructions in CM's OP, you'll be able to get up to 10.2.
the problem that happend to my device is :
1- my note was about to turn off cause no much battery left . i was working on the device without suffering from any problem . and then my phone turned off because the battery is drained so i put my phone on the charger quickly and pressed the power button and surprised because it was updating my android system. a picture describing the beginning of the problem

the phone stucks at that picture ^^ without any completion . i started to think about givin' up ! ( like someone bout to die lol ). so then i removed the battery for a couple of minutes cause i thought that pop-up would disappear after what i've done . but after restarting my phone that update pop-up showed up again . i tried again .. but the same ting happen . so i decided to try PLAN B .
2- so here i tried a couple of tries to restart . and finally the update message disappeared and the is stuck at the start up screen!!! without any response. i decided to enter the recovery mode . but it didn't work ! i saw an android robot for seconds and then restarts automatically ! . so i'm thinkin about step 3 righ' now .
3- at this point . i decided to install an another rom which is JellyBean 4.1.2. my phone originally working on official jellybean 4.1.2 also with root . after i tried installing the rom through ODIN . the install failed . i noticed that my phone is identitfied by my computer but the battery is not
charging . i tried to install 4.0.3 but also failed! and then tried gingerbread! and it also didn't work. and that's what happening right now
any solution guys ? i really would appreciate your help .
now that you have tried so many different versions of android... try installing Philz kernel using odin and then try to get into recovery mode. If you are able to, then make a full wipe "Clean before new rom install" in Philz recovery and then either install a custom rom or boot into download mode from advanced menu and flash the rom again

and when i upgrading my phone to JB show force close setup stopped working and back to setup wizard!
so i have to back to GB and in GB phone work fine but in JB show errors
i tried to install JB and go recovery and install CWm but when i am installing this screen is off and phone reset !
before this errors coming i am getting backup from efs folder and correct rom but i cant install cwm to restore backups : (
please help and so sorry to can speak english well : ( :crying:

It has hardware issue . This all issues is due to root
I spend Rs1000 to repair this
So from now onwards i suggest you not to root your device otherwise you will be in big trouble

in my signature (blue links) you will find stock roms both LXB22.46-28 and LXB22.99-16 (number (3)) I suggest flashing LXB22.99-16 via my easy installer - download zip to pc - unzip and follow / read instruction inside folder. It this will put phone back to as new out of box - IF it still has problems with sims / sdcards and you have tried known working new ones, i'm sorry to say it hardware failure - but try the rom (stock) to rule out any software problems

first of all, sorry for my bad English!
I have an older Samsung Galaxy S6 EDGE (SM-G925F) / original ROM - DBT (last OTA update) / no branding / without root, that until recently worked perfectly and never made any complaints ... at least until a few days ago while an APP installation (she probably destroyed something) and got stuck in the bootloop .....
First i deleted the cache in recovery mode (I didn't want WIPE, because of data loss) because I read here that I might be able to solve the problem this way, but it didn't work ... then I downloaded the file - G925FXXS6ETI6_G925FDBT6ETJ1_G925FXXU6ERF6_HOME. tar.md5 via SamFirm, and flashed it (according to XDA flashing Thread) with ODIN3 (3.14.4) in DownloadModus on Handy, the only stupid thing is that ODIN aborted / stopped in the Installation Process! Since then the phone only boots up to the Samsung logo, the recovery mode has disappeared and I only get into the download mode! : (((
When i trying to re-flash the firmware, now ODIN3 always stops at boot.img and aborts the process (see Figure 2) with FAIL (different ODIN versions tried, different USB cables / ports connected)!
I also read here in the forum that you could make a backup with TWRP (I took: twrp-3.3.1-0-zerolte.img.tar) to save/recovery my phone-data ... TWRP cannot be done with ODIN3 either play, the preview goes also until recovery.img and then breaks off, again and again with Fail!

Please Help! What am I doing wrong!?
I've already tried everything and can't get any further, I'm really slowly desperate ... I am mainly concerned with the data / pictures etc. that are on the phone, and hmmm unfortunately I don't have a backup of the data! You are my last resort, people!
