Hey folks,
I just got my new se xperia x1 and now i want it to be protected in a black silicone case while I'm geocaching with it.
I found two very cheap hongkong-cases on ebay:
this:
optical joystick covered, seems to be "blacker"/darker
and that:
optical joystick NOT covered, seems to be more shiny
Which one would you prefer?
Has anyone of you already made any experiences with a silicone case and the xperia x1?

I would never put an ugly silicone case on my gorgeous X1, then everyone would think I have an iPhone
Since your a geocaching with it, I can understand your dilemma and would most definitely go with this one

The grey looks great on the silver xperia
If I had to choose from the 2 you put up there, I would choose the second since with the first one, you'll have some problems using the middle joystick.
As for what Nightrage posted, I really like that cover, nice and neat, though as I saw, it doesn't cover the keys, only the sides and the back.

I've only had the Note for almost a week now and ive noticed a nasty score on the screen. Im thinking about getting a screen cover but having a look on amazon some of them look cheap and nasty ?
Any recommendations for a screen protector and or case

Also so i dont start another thread, im also looking for a leather cover ( hopefully a flip one ) Im in the UK and most places only seem to do plastic or fabric having a looking online like amazon etc they only seem to be available from abroad and the delivery costs are ££££. Has anyone managed to find themselves a decent one ?

Spend a little time searching and you will find all of your answers, including photos of cases.

I'm in UK and have currently brought a silicone case which fits good but maybe tight? Anyway the problem is the power and volume rocker since the rubber is no where near the buttons you really have to push the phone hard to make the phone sleep etc. Though I'm waiting for my Screen cover, £1 for it but if it protects and prolongs I don't mind...
If you like the sound of the silicone case...go on eBay and search for the silicone case with a big "S" moulded in...

Bought the Savies screen protector for my wife her L and my SP. They cost 3usd each on eBay.
Quality is terrible. They scratch very easily and cutouts are little bit bigger then was needed. Applying it was ok.

Just got Screen protectors from E_Cell through E-bay. Caution... DO NOT BUY, they don't have a cut for the microphone, so you're just wasting your money.
I bought a Krussel case for 25 euro. not cheap but fits the phone really well and looks really good. Also a good quality.

These snap on cases scare the **** out of me. They give pressure to the device that might result in unwanted effects. I would prefer a case like the Incipio one, it has the silicone in it, and then the hard cover to just hold it all together. And they are at the same price...
I expect more cases, cradles etc will get released later in the summer when the device is more mainstream.
I've just put on a s-line case today. Was on a couple quid from eBay. It's brilliant for the money. Decent fit for such a cheap case.

After inserting the phone in the case, one should be able to see the LED, at least from the front side. That would be the ideal case for Xperia SP.
I am not using a screen guard. It will make the already reflective screen of SP even more reflective ruining it completely outdoors.

will my C5306 fit in it? It says it's deisgned for M35h but I'm assuming all variant has the same physical dimensions?
does SP really need screen protector? it has gorrila glass isn't it?

it is as simple as cutting the low part and stick as if it anything happened srs the microphone is BELOW the screen so anything bad happens oh pls
Still, I dont pay for screen protectors so that I can cut them. It would be like Sony gave you the device with no ROM and told you to build one on your own.

@puneethv Can you post some pictures of your SP after inserting it inside the case? How is the grip & feel of the case?
The grip is amazing and the phone looks way sexier....because of the open strip at the bottom.....

The screen that comes with it is Matte which is what I wanted although Capdase makes gloss screen as well but that needs to be purchased separately.
you got to get a very thin shell for it, if you have a DK28 dock for charging it. with Normal shell you can't charge it with DK28 dock

It is very good as they claim and also the Capdase case allows for dock access. Also all the buttons are exposed unlike other cases.
I've just get my Ultra Thin Cover Set for Xperia A from

Guys I need a case for my sony xperia zr, I have purchased 3 from ebay UK and none fit, I am now using a "headcase" case but this does not fit properly , I cannot charge the phone with the case on as the USB flip does not line up. I am looking for a nice soft case like this...

Those days I've been looking for a case for my D802, but so far I couldn't find the one I want. I thought you guys could help me, maybe some of could have the same case. I'm looking for 2 cases. The first one is a BMW case and second one is an AC Milan case. I'm big fan of both of them.
You have some big expectations, well it's not rude to be ambitious
My advice:
- order Yourself a Imak case, it fits the phone perfectly and doesn't make the device any bigger
- find somebody with a sewing machine and order Your very own custom case. You choose the patterns and bring the materials
- You can also find some a kind of stickers at ebay, maybe there will be BMW or AC Milan logos.

Now if you want a good case the IMAK is just a beauty! Not the safest but definitely the most beautiful!
I also strongly recommend imak cases, especialy cowboy. It's looking nice and it had awesome grip.

I have this one for my D802: search ebay for "Ultra Slim Quicksand Matte Frosted Bumper Case Cover for LG Optimus G2 D802".
Its really slim, its stiff and tough, and has a very grainy surface. I will never drop my phone in this case. :^)
The case edge extends just a bit beyond the surface so it won't land flat on the glass if dropped (on a flat surface). I like it a lot.
