Everything works like a charm, not softkey bug and cams works fine to me (a bit dark pics maybe, nothing big). I will run facebook for awhile to check whiteout but so far so good ) Excellent work, Gundul! Cheers!

which kernel is used in this rom. it shows unknown in the about kernel version.. confused.
rom looks pretty with black ics theme

I using ck-kernel, but I am also confused why the show unknow. I got the update Adreno drivers, to increase the performance so as not too heavy. But now I can not upload. My Internet is very slow these days

about audio n sound,maybe you want check CyanMobileX by abenagiel,thats have really awesome music quality effect,,you may try port that

I found it smooth at the beging from installation (clean), then "system not respondig" flags. Installes Aben kernel and it seems ok. Gallery shuts down on running video.
Pretty darn good anyhow!

the wrong orientation of front cam is not a rom problem. it is a problem with kernel ics. all our ics rooms has same problem.
regarding music quality. the default sound is not bad if u want music quality improvement you can use awesome beats.

Hm.. still get random hangs and frezzes...

[Q] cyanogenmod 10.0 optimus black

I have already asked about this but is there anyway to get a working camera/camcorder or change some lib file or anything to get the a camera working, the problem is not really the camera it is that when i transfer the recorded video to a computer (any) the video plays but completely black screen from start to finish does anyone know whats wrong? please help and thanks in advanced lol
also it can take pictures and videos and playback on the phone just fine its just on any computer that it doesn't work/black screen

Sounds like you may be missing a codec on your computer. Try using VLC to play the videos on your desktop.

Thank you soo much lol i downloaded it and installed and the videos play straight away lol
I must point out that I have installed this zip file for the optimus black stock camera link - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2091599 also I deleted the camera.omap3.so file from system/libs hardware and replaced it with the same file but from a stock optimus black rom and set permissions to rw-r-r and rebooted and works even better without lag
The only thing is now is that when I record a video or record audio it sounds really high pitched and fast like chipmunks lol I don't know what that is :/ do you know how to fix that? please : thank you

You're welcome! Now just to be clear is the "Chipmunk" phenomenon is only happening when you play back the recorded video on your phone or does it happen on your computer as well?
If it's just a phone issue I suggest giving MXPlayer a shot it works great for me. If that doesn't work take a gander at the froums I've seen the "Chipmunk" phenomenon mentioned before.

I think, if you take cm10 ramdisk+cm10.1 zImage, it should work, not 100% sure though...

mackay rom has to many bugs portable hotspot doesn't work either lol what causes the chipmunk voice, do you know? thank you

I tried that. But the ramdisk of mackay kernel is 600+ kb. In the cm10 only 500+ . I dont know if that makes sense. But it didnt boot

solved
Solved it, I found out it was the kernel I had installed that was causing the squeaky voice, it was zero gravity v1.0 I reinstalled cm10 as normal but without the kernel and back to normal voice lol, and for the video recording I installed the ics camera port from that link - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2091599
and then deleted the camera.omap3.so file from system/libs/hw and replaced it with the same one from stock ics rom and set permissions to rw-r-r and reboot and done stable thanks for the help anyway

There are still bugs like black screen when calling. But what the hell. Heres some battery life screenies the 3hr47mins screen on time. I got 12 hrs batt life which was all day texting and wifi on everytime screen is awake.

Note that this is on lowlight.
If mods find this inappropriate delete the thread but i just want everyone to know, how cm10 is much more stable. Imagine with a modded kernel and fixing bugs which are fixed in cm10.1 . This will be true jellybean.

I prefer the darkmod cause it has the led lights dimmed. Cm10's leds are on full brightness which is so bright

Pimp my ROM should have a fix for you... in the GPS settings you can optimize it for your country.

Do you have the newest version? Can you upload it somewhere? Because I cannot download proper zip from original thread - i've already asked there but without response yet.

No bro. The recent updates were just for gps improvements, but also merged with cm10's changes. I havent tried it. Ill take a look at my comp later. Maybe i downloaded it too.

Stock app plus I added no shutter sound, flashing this you will also loose shutter sound on stock CM camera app.

the stock cm and the stock lg have the same quality (focus, sharpness ...), tested both and saw no difference like the same app with different skins.

So i only need to flash the zip via cwm recovery? (REcovery->install zip from sdcard->choose zip from sdcard->and choose the camera zip)?
or do i need to apply this uodate function or what?
or how exactly i install this?

Yes, and the stock gallery app. The stock gallery app, at least the one from V20a can play gifs and is more functional than the one from Cyanogenmod.

thx, worked perfect and the app is nice and i like having no sounds, but if i want them i can just turn them back on?

Stock app has 4 shutter sounds to choose from settings. If you want sound to be back an CM app just reflash CM.

No need to reflash cm. Your zip doesn't replace the cm camera app, it just adds the new one (what is great imo).
SRY... my mistake... for the sound, you need to reflash... but who really misses the shuttersound?

I think V20C camera app has an option for no shutter sound as it's not illegal outside Europe.

No, you retain the old cam.

Thanks man! I was missing the "HDR" mode, this is faster that CM.
BTW "time lapse" doesn't work, I don't use it anyway, I just changed the button to flash control.

Ok gtested, and want to report that the wifi is very slow ( slower than rempuzzle) when we open setting, it say hwa setting fc's , but setting work as well , exept that, the greenify app make battery drain.And touchpall keyboard is too big, switch it from the joyos keyboard.

Hi startracker,i flashed your rom and like it,flashed fix xposed but it say hwa setting fc's.Then go to settings >storage,menu usb storage connection and tick mass storage but i can`t connect to pc.What i do wrong.Thanks.

Hwa will be fixed in next update,but for now if its irritating u then just delete the apk from system

Yes is a little faster, after if you want to make it realy faster, you should make a new kernel with new option ( but it's harder than ported rom )

I dont only port roms i just started with it as a way to get in real development .
One day i will release that too
