I think nthknd means [vol-] + [power] - because [vol+] + [power] performs a softreset
(havn't tested the ICS-screenshot-feature yet - because I'm using Screenshot ER Lite since a long time - and I'm happy with it...)
My bad your very right volume down plus power key at the same time will give you a screen shot.. Sorry for the confusion... Hope that helps thanks bud for the correction I hate giving out incorrect information.

The Lite (free) version of the app works great. I have it running on boot and don't really see a reason to turn it off as it hardly drains any battery. I prefer the app instead of having to use the hardware buttons every time I want to do a screenshot, but that's mainly because I'm paranoid about the power/volume button getting used so much that they actually stop working

I'm using the free app with the widget to turn it on/off if needed (and then take a screenshot with the popup-menu and a delay of 15s).

Long press power button

I don't know if it's a problem or not but even if my screen off, when I long press on the power boutton (perhaps 6 or 8 seconds) my phone reboot. So sometimes, in my pocket, it reboots. It is normal? If yes, any way to change this feature? I'm rooted and I've rXtrem rom V3.0 on Stock Kernel.

read the title. It's the power button he's talking about, not the home button.
It doesn't depend on the ROM, it'll be like that even if you have no ROM installed.
I've changed for Pandoriam ROM and it's the same "problem". I've not see you was talking about the home button, it's the power button i'm talking about. Son anyone can make somethnig with a little flash for exemple?......

Don't know about battery savior but the MENU and BACK are CAPACITIVE TOuCH KEYS which WILL NOT WEAR.out. And yes the home button will deteriorate over time!

Or if your finger is in pain when you put it under more pressure than touching screen.
But using the Button Saviour we can save the home button a few, don't you think?
I have tried to use Button Saviour one time, but i hate it. I hate the virtual button on the side of screen, so i searched another way to save home button and i found the app "Home Button" like free on market (link below). This app runs like a ongoing on the notification bar. So if we need to go to home screen, just roll down the notification bar and click on the app. The best part, the app don't run on backgroud, so no RAM usage! It only run when we click on, and than it close immediately.

Volume down and power does work. For everyone. Why would that combination not work on only your phone?
Make sure you're pressing them at the same time.

Normally when u downloaded the mod to do the camera volume down capture u also should have the download for the normal mod. And as for u pressing power and then menu for capturing Screenshots I think that's gone with 4.2.2 and to get it back downgrade software version. Everything below 4.2.2 should give u that option back. Or why don't u try one of these apps in the play store? Just type screen capture in Google play store it should bring up several screen capturing apps.

i don't want a full rom i only want te option and is there somebody who know how i can do
1 - you flash a full rom to get it back
2 - you request that someone makes a mod for it
3 - you mod it yourself
take your pick from the above options
