Nexus 7 doesnt have a Flash, that required for chatroulette. So from web - no. But search google play, maybee anybody wrote client for chatroulette

Keep it clean and civil folks. Just answer the issue without the off topic comments.
No, it won't work as Flash is no longer supported on latest versions of Android.
Thread Cleaned.

It SHOULD be able to run on them as it is a feature of Android, but you will need to be running Android 2.1. I would wait until it drops into aosp for it though, that's when we'll all know.
Cool. Thanks
yes, see thread link

Interesting. It didn't work for me. When I followed the instructions provided, it didn't show in locale and text. When I try to install it, it attempts to install voice search but it gives me a "Voice Search could not be installed on this phone" error.

You want the Q&A forum, not Development.
Wait for the official OTA update if you're unable to use Google and/or search (or look at the obvious topic headings) to find these.

ok i search and all i can find is the pre rootedfrf50 with radio or not is this what i need to use on my unrooted n1?? if so which one????
Sorry, in order for you to install froyo, you need to update your radio and install a custom recovery. This all requires your n1 to be rooted.

general forum sticky.....
just wait for the official update, all that is out right now is prerelease stuff
if you really want something to do open the phone and type *#*#2432546#*#* over and over to see if the update is available

Take some time to read all the threads here, use the search function, do a bit of research what custom ROM's are, and understand a bit about Android before you do anything.
so far i found easiest way to flash rom is with odin.... but im not sure if i can use odin for streak 7? but seem like its only for samsung devices.. is there something similar i can use for streak 7

Hi Andrew. I actually did a how-to video on the DS7 the other night (not in relation to your question though). I will be uploading it tonight and I'll link you here when it's done.
Here you go Andrew
http://youtu.be/1G6__WGA6U0
Great video but...
I'm running a 64-bit version of Windows 8, and the 64-bit versions require (i.e. don't have any way to let you override) a digitally signed driver. So I can't get the drivers to install. If I have a 5.x version of CWM, is there some version of the zip file that I CAN use to update to JB?

Did you try booting Windows with F8 and select the last option which says something related to Driver signing...????

I wonder if it's possible to get them digitally signed. At first, I thought it wasn't going to work until I noticed the "Yes" is basically hidden under more info.

Force OTA bricked my Nexus 5

The guide located here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2563400 endorsed by xda mods bricked my Nexus 5.
I'm not posting for help as I flashed back to 4.4
I'm posting as a beware and request it gets locked /deleted
guess there is a bit of confusion what bricked means.
the OTA screwed your system, that's different. sorry to hear that, but good you could recover the device with a system image I guess.
It have been discussed a gazillion times that this method is not safe to use, and I doubt anybody on here endorsed this way of doing.

Were you rooted? Was your ROM stock? Or did you have mods installed or custom kernel or Xposed Framework etc?
If you weren't on the stock ROM, installing OTA (regardless of how it is initiated) is known to cause problems. But if you were unrooted, or were rooted/stock, installing OTA wouldn't cause a 'brick'.

Well the thread was at the top of the page and open for many days so the mods thought it was safe. There was no warning.
Stock everything btw

Had anyone actually reported the thread using the report buttons? Mods cannot possibly read every thread so they rely on people reporting things. A thread not being locked is by no means an endorsement

Word.
Bricked to me means toast, done for, better paperweight than a phone, you wiped the everything and loaded different drivers, or something along those lines.

its a valid method that carries inherent risk, which is the op warned in his post. you decided to do it, it is your responsibility for whatever issues you had. your device was not bricked, nor did you damage your device. what it sounds like is that you have no business trying to modify your phone in any way as you can not handle messing things up.

The funny thing is - your guide sucks. Removing velvet.apk removes Google launcher and you have to manually open Google now-Google search to use it and OK Google function. + learn proper English or use auto correction. I don't speak English to, but I do my best to be understood.
His guide didnt work for me the first time either but I kept trying, even with different launchers I think the trick for me was rebooting before installing Google search and then again after. Now it works. My friend also did this, it worked for him as well. I'm not saying this WILL work for you but its worth a try good luck.
