Nova Launcher Prime ))

Holo launcher. The notify plugin works. It's just smoother than nova.

Apex Launcher for me. I dont need notifications, so free version.
Next Launcher 3D
Holo HD Launcher with notifier True jelly bean interface, smoother n faster, haven't tried others though

I've tried practically every launcher, in the end the smoothest with good features are Holo launcher and smart launcher (both unique), the best looking are next launcher (ram heavy..) and go launcher.
I really liked nova but it is more expensive and pro feature notify is broken and still not fixed :S
Most launchers have nova features now...

What do you mean with notify broken? It works as it should be here on Prime... Latest Nova 2.0.1 with Tesla Unread 2.2 shows ok in the menu. XXAMA2 deodex with BLN kernel.

You should give ssLauncher a go. Takes a fair bit of time to configure, but in the end, you'll get a unique interface.

Last time i used it im almost certain i had same versions if nova and tesla unread, benzrom v3 xxama2. Install would be fine until reboot then constand tesla unread fc. Looked it up and it was an ongoing bug. What date is tesla unread 2.2 release?
Anyway, holo has practically all features of nova with better menus (especially app drawer tab or folder management), and uses less ram.
Worth a try, nova uses to be my favourite but now holo won my favour.
I am drunk please excuse my lazy grammar.

Dunno about the date of the build, but it's 2.2 version from Play Store downloaded like a week ago, thought I had it as soon as I got the update on my SGSII. I installed it on my wife's phone (SIII Mini), set up and all works as it should (as on my SGSII), no FC, no errors at all. It shows unread notifications on home screen and in menu as it is supposed to.
Maybe it's cause of a really clean installs as this SIII Mini is a brand new phone, few flashes and mods only (essentials).
Cheers,
Fevv.
IF talking about launchers looks and themes..
For me it's TSF..

auto rotation? huh... ummm, no go! and then pay up for every single thing around it... no go thank you, thou it's impressive and quite different on first few run(s). Saw it on S III and saw the flaws and stuff. It has great potential and I admit it's a very different approach to do the interface.

I'm currently running THS build 15, and I absolutely love it. The only thing preventing this ROM from being pretty much complete in my books (other than some of the 'placeholder' settings) is the fact that the Trebuchet launcher doesn't allow hiding of apps in the app drawer. I hate clutter, especially since I don't use 90% of the 2 pages of apps that come with it by default.
I love the ICS theme and the ICS drawer, but are there any ICS launchers that are similar but allow hiding of apps in the app drawer?
you could try go launcher with ics theme

So I do, works perfect for me. Go Launcher is the best one atm imho
i just had a look at the thread "Post Your Screen Shots Here" and they Looked Pretty Cool i want to be able to customize everthing like fonts themes app drawer everthing im running Stocklite V8 as my rom. iv looked at go launcher ex but alot of people say it slows your phone down to snail pace
Best launcher for customization is in my opinion the adw ex. U can change every single option and customize it as u wish. Plus u can get some nice themes on google play.
I use go launcher ex on SGS II v10.1 & it runs flawlessly !

You got 4 diferent opninions for 4 diferent launchers, best way to decide is to try all !
I am a fan of Apex and Nova, the pro/prime keys are worth it if you can afford it
You can customize with gestures and themes without the pro keys but more gestures and transitions are available with a $4.00 purchase. Most themes work with ADW/Apex/Nova and sometimes GO.
I don't like GO though because it is a memory/resource hog.
This thread should probably have been posted in Themes and Apps.

There's always google play to buy & just a google to get crack

( Stumbled & ready to attack...!)
best launcher imo:
customization---> ADW
simplicity---> holo
golauncher has lots of customization too but it's kinda, idk, laggy when run on ace
touchwiz UX themed (think s3) holo launcher is my current choice check out screenshots in s'perience rom by snowpluralism

My choice - ADW EX
Butter smooth and customizable...
Just try 360 launcher pro. Chinese language is outta my perception but for what it offers, worth making a compromise ! So much of customization inbuilt widgets, countless themes, 360 locker & themes, supports gestures, effects & much more! It's just awesome try it out !

Hey there,
I have the next launcher and i'm very pleased with this launcher. He's very smooth and stable with lots of features for adjusting app and so on.. Try this one and i think you will agree with me that this is the one....
o boy..try both... and decide
They are similar but I found Nova better designed.
Sent from LG 2X using Tapatalk 3 Beta
not all of us have the same settings on our phones so it's best to download and try both - you'll see which launcher suits you best...
I think Apex =)
I found Nova to be both smooth and good looking with many settings but then again... It´s very personal.
Apex
Enviado desde mi O2X
It all comes down to preference
Im using the NOVA launcher and Im very happy with it... of course, the pro version
Nova.....really smoother than apex and the main thing low memory usage....since our O2x ram is bottlenecking i would prefere nova over other launchers....:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:
I recommend also nova, smoother than apex based on my own observation..
i found nova launcher also smoother on cm10

Apex is better, go here mycolorscreen.com
Sent from my LT22i using Tapatalk 2
nova launcher is doing an excellent job right now on JB
I keep switching between nova and launcher7 depending upon the look I want
I confirm : Nova is very smooth
More than trebuchet and Apex !
i think apex is better
but you have to try it on yourself
Nova is much smoother on our phone and allows customizing the app drawer decorations color (the blue underline under tab names) without installing a theme.
It is a nice touch when you use transparency and want to match your wallpaper color.
NEXT Launcher, from the GO team Devs..I never saw better launcher after i installed NEXT..
It's on an early stage though, but there are many things to come, cause GO team will continue build new things for their apks..
Nova and Apex are both very nice launcher, if i have the choise i want use Nova launcher because you have more settings

Hi guys! What's the best and smooth launcher for the s advance on Jelly bean? Standard touchwiz by Samsung is too heavy and slow.
Sorry for my bad English
Next launcher, apex and nova launcher, and tsf shell

SecLauncher2.apk
Touchwiz launcher.
The S Advance is fairly capable, and Touchwiz is stripped of the unneeded features found on devices like the Note II and SIII. Still, the only way you can slow it down significantly is if you go ahead and download 70+ apps (which you don't need, obviously), and launch 5 apps at the same time and expect a mid-low range device to perform like a supercomputer.
apex runs great on this phone!
One more vote for apex! Very smooth and good looking.

i try all launchers on googleplay best launcher = GoLauncher -} best devs alot thems alot app alot widget ...
low cpu - low memory - never crash - never black screen - alot settings - light without lag - and it's Free xD
Gz
Yes, but fastest and slim launcher is APEX.

The last time I tried GoLauncher, it was laggy sometimes, consumed more than 30 MB RAM and ate about 6% of my battery...
I tried it when I was on Gingerbread... After that experience I never tried GoLauncher again
Let's hope that it got improved now ..
(One more thing)
Let's not fight about which launcher is the best.. because different people have different opinions....

Apex
To OP: edit first post and open some poll with that launchers, and let the vote begin.
Adw launcher. Still no.1 for me, even with JB.
Next launcher = Smoothest 3D launcher
Apex Launcher = Slim, smooth..
Go Launcher EX = RAM eater. not very smooth

I stick to the sense launcher
The stock sense launcher is great and thats what I use!
I recently found action launcher which I really like. It's very functional and more minimalistic than most other launchers. If that's what your in to. There is a free version. Give it a try.

I stick to Sense. I don't know what it is, but every time I try and switch off of it, I always end up coming back. Even though they change it with every new flagship, I still stick with it. I've used Aviate, and while it's nice, it's just not for me.
I'm on sense right now, using xposed framework and sense 5 toolbox to get a 4.5 home screen. However, I also frequent nova launcher. It just depends on my mood, and I have them both installed pretty much all the time.
I like Trebuchet from AOSP

I visit in Asia most the user use HTC Mobile phone because it has been too many feature that you can use. After Nokia Lumia and I phone big brand that are using.
I use Themer. Wish it had a better drawer, but, I change up my themes so often its still the best option for me.
I use Nova Launcher Prime on all of my Android devices. Just find it to be fast and customizable to my likings
Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk
I like Go Launcher for its customization but I really love Nova Launcher. Love it so much I purchased prime. Its really fast and has a fair amount of customization. It also never crashes or gives me any problems. It's nice that a lot of the icon packs work on it as well.
Try Aviate. Pm me with your email I have 1 left

SS Launcher Paid version
I stumbled on SS launcher a couple of years ago when I still had the "EVO 4G". I have not looked back since, it is more flexible than any other I've tried. And I always get comments on it.
Check out Lightning Launcher on the play store.
Google Experience Launcher

Big +1 for Action Launcher. It has a free trial(!) now, even, so there really isn't an excuse to at least give it a whack. It's not perfect for everyone, but if it you can handle its paradigm it works really well. Aviate's also good, but the inability to hide apps (among other things) really killed it for me.
Agreed

I personally use Nova Launcher Prime also, it's never let me down. An customization for the drawer and home screen is cool. Being able to pull app info and uninstall on the home screen is a huge helper at times.
