HTC TyTN II - Windows 7 - Help Please!!!

I've almost but given up on this, can someone please help me. I'm trying to get my HTC TyTN II to sync with my windows 7 ultimate laptop (64 bit)
I'm trying to install windows mobile device centre 6.1 (the latest, I've downloaded and tried it again a few minutes ago). I've tried both the 32 bit and 64 bit versions of the software and it just won't install It gives me the dialog box asking me 'Do you want the windows mobile device centre to make changes to your computer' If I click on 'yes' that's it, nothing else happens
Is there any hope? I can't believe microsoft could have released such a ****ty os with no proper testing with windows mobile devices. This used to work flawlessly with activesync
Please, any help will be really appreciated. I've seen some posts about people having luck with this
Run it as administrator = problem solved.

Dear friend ... you need these apps to get the PC find the WPH HD2 :
- Microsoft Zune
-Windows mobile Device Center ( both on mobile and PC )
then when you connect your phone , the PC finds it automatically if not just play with options of the Phone ( windows mobile device center app ) ... Good luck

[Q] screen recording for windows phone

Please help me
i cant update my pc to windows 7
but i want project my screen for windows xp
or if anyone know any other software to record windows phone screen then please say me
TIA
Dude, if you're still running XP (which is 14 years old and unsupported, with serious known security issues) you have much bigger problems than not being able to record your phone's screen.
Considering that Win8.1 will run on any computer manufactured in the last eight years or so, and that you can buy an entire Win8.1 machine for less than $300 even at full retail pricing, I'm skeptical of your claim that you *can't* upgrade.

Nokia Lumia Icon / 929 / Verizon Wireless

I just purchased a Nokia Lumia ICON / 929 to replace my older Windows Phone that was damaged. I figured this would be a good bet since Windows Phone 10 is supported on the device. Unfortunately the phone came installed with Windows Phone 8 and not Windows Phone 8.1. I have tried checking for updates through the phones settings and it keeps saying that there are no updates. So without a clear path to get to 8.1 I feel like I will never get Windows Phone 10 on the device. Please help me figure out how to proceed. Thanks!
Here is the phone info that comes up from the Windows Device Recovery Tool:
Windows Phone 8 (8.0.10501)
Firmware: 1028.3512.1337.0024
According to Verizon here https://www.verizonwireless.com/dam/support/pdf/system_update/benefits-nokia-lumia-icon-2-11-15.pdf this http://www.lumiafirmware.com/ser/RM-927/guid/059S694 should get you to 8.1

mi 8 lite does not co-operate with win 10 ver. 1803

Hello everybody and thanks for accepting me in such a distinguished community!
I recently bought my mi 8 lite, which i must say, is much better than the reviews want it to be due to their own marketing reasons..........
However, as many people already did, I encountered issues when i tried to put it in fastboot mode and moved on, trying to unlock it.
My win 10 pc, only recognizes it as a Composite ADB Device and when i go into fast boot mode, the device manager goes crazy......it cycles and all of a sudden the device is gone in more or less 10 sec. The fast boot mode also dissappears from the device itself! Needless to say that even if the device is shown at the bottom of the PCs device list, it also vanishes in a few seconds!
I have gone through all possible ticks and workarounds but in vain....................!
For those who will ask, yes, i have activated debugging, yes, i have installed the correct (if existing for win 10) drivers and finally yes, I have tried to go in Test Mode, but again.......in vain! My PC denies everything.
So, i was directed by a friend to, and tried through win 7 and after doing everything i should, i got 274hrs from xiaomi untill it unlocks..........
Is there anybody to suggest anything else that i could possibly do, to make these two opponents, become friends???? (i mean win 10 and mi 8 lite)
Is any other co-forumist facing similar issues ?
Are we really able to overcome this or we should go back to 7?
The motherboard of my computer is only win 10 compatible (STUPID ME>>>>) and its is an ASROCK H310-HDV. I have also tried to find any hidden function, with -of course-dissapointing results.:crying::crying::crying:
Thanks in advance for any answer or effort made by anyone in here!
Respectfuly
ioannisthom
I have Windows 10 and driver get on Windows Update.
