I would not use CM7.1 stable, it's to old, you would be better off with a new nightly build or Temaseks Final KANG(i use it too)
ETaNa ist a good kernel, i'm running it on my device.

Personnaly,
I use CM7 Nightly, and i run with ironkrnl 49mb ram-hack. And it's run. My baseband is 725 and my RIL is v20l. But i find that my batttery don't live a long time.
For the Others kernels, i am testing them.
Now i‘m testing 23/02 KANG build with Etana 20/02 without DS, it seems work good

are you looking Undervolt support version? if yes then, you should at least try swiftextreme or vadonka kernel. i know that vadonka support for UV. but it depends on your decision try to look at the android development section.
and 1 more thing, don't hope your device will same with other people. example mine can't do UV
I dont think there is a need to have a whole new thread.. this info is already floating around in the general and the dev section

Hmm. A lot of threads to read in the development section for you there are. Answers you will find.

But as I am kind:
I think the best beginner roms with great benefit are darkys roms. But since u have to flash cm9 to flash darkys v11 black, you can also stay with cm9.
I think the stable 9.1 is a good choice with either semaphore 1.3.0 kernel or devils 1.0.3 kernel.
Cm10 is still too unstable for me, but I am sure there are other opinions.

In CM, you are flashing kernels, modems, mods - via CMW (flash zip from sdcard).
I think ICS - based roms don't need any memory tweaks.

CM9.1's stock kernel works well.
IMHO If you're not looking for specific tweaks, you don't need to flash a different kernel.

Storage is physical memory. You have to buy a external microSD card or delete apps to get more.
If you are talking about ram: there are tweaks in the kernels mentioned above.

I not sell my phone csl mi410,I just put my phone in my house,anyway my csl mi 410 now using icecoldsandwicth v8.7 update by lord clockan 30 September..but I cant share now to you all bcoz right now I'm at hospital,very bad I got sick..

yup this kernel can use on every ics cm9 base,, but not for miui..
About performance,, need feedsback from other user..

Right now i am using it on MIUI ics. No problems so far. Wifi works as well.
Kernel so far... okay so we've got new governors a long awaited ondemandX is here and tell you what it works flawlessly. Games are smoother on the edges and more responsive. Feels like a strong base do not have lag problems with native browser anymore. Thanks again Aben for making this happen.
P.S On Ice Cold Sandwich 8.4
what about bluetooth audio in ICS is it working with this kernel ??

You only need to read a little bit in the development forum where you found my Rom. There are some threads right now with new kernels. And even the links are really there - no need to tell you with a link, you can do this completely by yourself.
And only one remark to my Rom: it is not modded...
