Backup everything to your PC first.

Hi everyone,
I got a little problem with my market. When i try t install apps there is a delay in showing the app content, the delay is about 32 seconds.
Ok no wipe is helping i wiped everything including SD. But i think it's because the google restore off apps.
Here is a logcat http://pastebin.com/rBYNK9sd i don't know where to look at so if someone can give a look?
I also started a thread at cyanogenmod > http://forum.cyanogenmod.com/index.php?/topic/2589-market-slow/ But i didn't get reallt help there so i'm trying here.
I'm running CM 5.0.6 Fresh install
Seems to be an issue with the Market itself. Been seeing the same thing here with both my N1 running Enoms and my partners stock MT3G
it always worked till i installed a fresh install then everything broke, if its the market then a wipe should had fixed it, right? or am i wrong here. anyways it really annoying the market doesn't work well anymore.
If you look at CM forum you will see that after a fresh isntall using another google account doesn't cause a problem. so i'm 99% sure it's because of the google restore off apps. how can i delete that back-up.
I saw in settings you could disable it and delete everything but that didn't work.
Please help.. Since I updated my Note to the stock ICS rom released in Germany, Google maps app keeps crashing everytime I open it!

Try fixing permissions or uninstall with titanium pro and reinstall with play store
Also try wiping the data in titanium

Not an ICS issue... got my ICS LPY update over the air a while back, and have had no map problems since.
Easy, go to settings, applications, go to maps an click it, select delete data, try if still crashes. If it does, do delete data again, then uninstall and reinstall from play store. Test again, that should work

same problem
I have exactly the same problem. I have updated my Note from the latest gingerbread to the stock german ICS. After installation was completed I have noticed that Maps are constantly crashing. Google maps will locate my position and try to load map.. Everything is really choppy and after a while app will stop responding altogether and crash.
So.. at first I tough that it may be ICS ROM bug, so I have reverted back to the old ROM. I have wiped out user data, cash, etc.
I have also tried above mentioned method (posted by baz77) of uninstalling app, but nothing has changed.
I searched all over the internet, and found that there are more people suffering from this bug.
Any idea what's going on?? Thanks. I am becoming really desperate..
Fixed.
I followed Baz77's suggestion (adding a cache clear as well) and Maps is now working fine.
It worked, but only for a while. After I have uninstalled updates, removed app data, I was able to make it work. Everything was smooth but after about one minute scrolling became choppy and few second later app stopped responding and crashed. How is it possible that even different ROM didn't help? I tough that when I set "wipe data/factory reset", it would erase all stored system data..
Problem solved
Ok, so this thread can now be officially closed. I have once again uninstalled Maps and it's updates. Because I have done it so many times before, I have completely resigned and stopped wasting my time with it. My phone has run out of juice (guess why), so I left it on charger for several hours. After I have unplugged it, an update notification for Maps pops up. I sad OK to myself.. why not to try it once more.
And to my great surprise, IT WORKED this time. I have no idea WHY, but it just did. Maybe system needed some time to remove registry settings/kill process or something like that. I have restarted Note few times before with no success.
Or maybe Google has made some changes to update file in meantime, but that's unlikely.
Anyway..
Thanks everyone for help. Drinks are on me
I start IG at all and it restarts when trying to delete/uninstall.
I dunno wtf happened, but I can't access IG at all on my phone... it will restart it if I open it or try to delete the app... I've searched all over for a fix and the ones I have seen (which are few) didn't work.
Ideas? I'm out of them...
Thanks

Which rom are you using? Is the rom a fresh install with fresh installation of Instagram on it? Did you try to restore Apps+Data using titanium backup instead of fresh install?
Give details, what you have said in your main post, dont make much sense w/o details.

I've been using my phone fine with no problems at all then today at work I switched batteries and all of a sudden it's restarting with instagram and my music player isn't working normal. As of now everything seems fine, but the instagram issue remains.
Currently...
Open IG App = Restart
Uninstall = Restart
Clear Cache = Restart
Clear Data = Restart
Move to SD card = Works
Uninstall after Move to SD card = Will start uninstall, but Restarts in the middle of it.
I don't have Titanium Back up. Don't know how to use it really.
Instagram is a clean install.
It's a clean install of Jelly Bean (no root)
Base band version N7000XXLSO
Build number JZO54K.N7000XXLSZ
kernel version 3.0.31-906407 [email protected] #3 SMP PREEMPT Thu Feb 14 2:26:43 KST 2013
If you don't want to root your device just do a factory reset.. If you don't want to factory reset then root your device and install titanium backup from play store and uninstall the instagram from your note

It's good now. Found a solution. Found an old version of the IG.APK and replaced it with the current one. I even re-updated to the newest version and it's working fine, sooooo... I dunno wtf it was. Thanks for the help.

It didn't work even after that.
I just made the leap from the latest stock AT&T ROM to the latest Holics ROM. I'm really liking it so far... everything is working really smoothly, with two exceptions. Google+ and Google Keep do not work. Google+ simply will not open and freezes my phone for several seconds. Google Keep opens and immediately closes with the error "Google Play Services are not available". These are the only 2 apps that appear to be affected. I have done the following...
Cleared data from both apps
Uninstalled and re-installed both apps
Cleared data from Google Play Services
Uninstalled and re-installed Google Play Services <--- I don't recommend this step to anyone. It completely screwed all my Google apps.
Factory reset
Re-flashed the ROM - Step-by-step to make sure I did it right
Can anyone point me in the right direction here?

I have no problem here (not holics rom) Maybe try a different ROM?
Resolved - Sort of...
I discovered that the problem was not present when I would initially flash the ROM. I could install all kinds of apps and make all kinds of tweaks and changes. It wasn't until I powered off the phone AND pulled the battery that the problem would present itself.
Here's the kicker. What I found was if I simply went in and uninstalled the updates from Google Play and then opened Google Play and let it re-install the latest update the problem would go away.
So, while it's not a resolution per se... it is an easy 5 minute work around. The phone works perfectly as long as I don't pull the battery. I've tested this work around 3 times and every time the problem went away.
At least now I won't have to worry about flashing another ROM until the call volume issues with the Jelly Bean ROMs gets resolved.
:good:
same problem, resolution not working

I tried your trick, after the 3rd time it work for me. This problem also affects the YouTube and Foursquare apps as far as I can tell.
However the problem returns each time the phone is restarted. Is there any other permanent fixs? Any similar ROM suggestions? (S-ON HTC Vivid)
You've had a bad flash. Wipe all partitions and start fresh. This happened to me before as well. Only way to fix it was to wipe all partitions and reflash

Same here. Been running Banancakes ROM for over a year, and loving every minute of it... But this issue with Google Keep is driving me up the walls. Thanks for your workaround, it saves the day for now, but this is one annoying bug. I don't use YouTube so wouldn't know, but I'll give it a look see to find out if the same applies.

I don't know. I have wiped and flashed quite a few times to try other ROMs and that behaviour is pretty consistent...

I had this same issue with keep and google plus using codefire desensed Rom on my vivid. I was able to fix it by wiping everything and reflashing the Rom but I also flashed ics gapps right away after. Don't know if that was necessary or not but now I no longer get that play services error. Also my play store app updated automatically to 4.0 right away where before it did not update.
Just a thought, but reflashing fixed my issue.

I'll probably give it another try, but I flashed it again recently and did exactly that : full wipe, gapps right away and I have the same issue as OP. I did restore a bunch of stuff via TB, so maybe that's where I screwed up...
Hi all, I'm having the classic issue of Titanium Backup getting hung up at 0% when restoring on the N dev preview. I flashed supersu beta 2.71 and have busy box installed. I also have allowed installation from unknown sources, have enabled USB debugging, and disabled mount namespace separation in supersu. I'm all out of ideas and I really need to restore this foshiz. Any help would be appreciated. (This is a nexus 6 of course).
I've never like titanium backup with my Nexus 6. Always had problems. My g2, droid, Gnex, etc all loved it.
Anyways, my guess is either selinux (check and set for permissive), or titanium just isn't compatible with Android N currently (highly likely as android N is just a preview to let developers see what they're working with)
I'm not on N but when I switched from L to M I got the same problem.
What always worked for me was using the update.zip method.
You create it in TitaniumBackup out of your saved apps + data and flash it after you're on N via TWRP.
TB can have problems installing some apps, and get stuck, but if you install that app from Play, it will continue. I recommend you let Google install the apps, then use TB to install data.

The same issue, but with Marshmallow and Samsung s7 edge..

Yes it works, thanks to Aroma you can even flash it, disable all the extras that you don't want and TBU will work.
People post about issues yet leave out any sort of log that will tell what the issue is. This is one of the biggest issues developers have with users. This is why most developers will not reply to issues and almost never come in the Q&A section
If you are gonna post about issues then make sure to do your homework first. Get logs and post them. Try to figure it out for yourself before asking for help. This is not a support forum.

You might wanna try changing "app processing mode" in preferences, indirect method may help and interactive will install apps using the standard installer if all else fails.
On a related note I'd highly recommend backup+ I've started using it for specifically backups between roms and it worked for me perfectly on N. The app was built with the SELinux changes in mind as one of the first apps to work with restoring apps on Lollipop and I'd guess it has a bit to do with it working for Marshmallow and N w/o needing updates during the previews. It probably won't replace TiBup if you use it for stuff like freezing apps and whatnot. (It is capable of doing system apps, wifi, SMS, and phone logs though it's a separate in-app purchase totaling 2.61USD).
