[rom] miui 2.4.20

All credits go to sbasil for his u8800 rom. I just port his rom to our device.
Credit also to llorn & mantera for mOCk kernel.
And to whyzee too.

Steps of installation:
1. Do a full wipe
2. Flash the rom
3. Flash mOCk kernel: http://www.4shared.com/zip/7f-EiXM9/mOCkv1612.html
4. Boot the system
5. Let the booting process settle down
6. After the rom has been properly booted up, go to cwm again
7. Wipe dalvik & cache, reboot system again (if not do this, not all apps will appear on screen)
8. ENJOYYY
9. Now u can go to x5 setting & change i/o scheduler to cfq, default one (noop) is for u8800, sometime its not stable

Torch on lockscreen (press home button on lockscreen for a flashlight)

1. Gps working but locking better with whyzee patch frm edowar's cm7
2. I hv asked whyzee help to fix the headset, or maybe ck/fr already hv the patch

you can use handset for miui 1.11.11 tj-style,extract the service.jar take the classes.dex,and extract the service.jar you miui 2.4.20,put the classes.dex on you service.jar and make it sign in..just suggest it...

can not find mOCk kernel ....
i think the ideos x6 thread is not perfectly organised its too hard to find a older post since they lasted in some thread comment only and not else where
please update the working mock kernel for miui on all other threads the Ported ROm Include mock kernel in themselves so there is no separate kernel info available nor any file available .

Yeah thats what I think, it is a very slow download maybe its corrupt. Trying again

I downloaded the ROM again but haven't had time to try it yet. I will try again tonight and report back. Thanks a bunch for all the work and many ROM's you brought us Bro much appreciated.
***Edit*** Actually I am gonna try it now, was having reboot issues with BlackIce. Seems on some ROM's we need to raise the voltages a little to stop the reboots but our kernels do not support it. Is there a way we can raise voltages with an app like setcpu?

Stock Rom

Does anyone have the stock ROM files? I looked and couldn't find them. The links on the wiki page were dead. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

And It boots :victory:
But Phone.apk FC all the time.
Performance settings, lockscreen doesn't work.
I think Radio doesn't work too.
But should I release this ROM. I'm not a very experienced dev but I will give my best to fix this errors .
I asked the dev team for the permissions to release it. So if you like to see a alpha Carbon version on our great device please respond.
If so I could really need some help for fixing some Issues.

I don't think i get that s***** frequen FC solved
If someone is interesded to try it yourself ask i can upload the booting ROM.
Maybe i try porting a not so complex ROM in a few days too. But don't except that it will work :crying::crying::crying:

Maybe some logs from catlog or from adb will help you/us to solve the problem...?

I tried but I actually have no idea how i fix the errors
i didn't found anything on google about it. But maybe i will search tomorrow again if my time allows it.

SlimBean 4.2.2 Porting HELP NEEDED

Hello everyone I was porting SlimBean From the Haeuwei Asccend to Ace but there was a set_per status 7 error while installing the rom. I have made a patch to fix the camera bug.This rom would just run great on Ace if anyone of you would help me to modify the updater script.

[CM] Cyanogenmod SU Upgrade

Helllo. I started this thread because of a common error in cyanogenmod rom. Did you install a root app using cm rom but, like Titanium Backup, it said something like "the app won't work properly with your su binary"? Well, I build a CM Rom using the latest SuperSU binary, app (1.86) and busybox version with it.

Although your work and effort I'm sure don't go unappreciated I'm just positive your approach was wrong. Take no offense from my post, more so advice. I would never flash this on my device nor do I think anyone else should. Not to say that it's bad but there's a guideline for posting ROMs, you can see it above or below your thread. I'm just saying wouldn't you be a little weary of flashing this if I threw it up like that. Not trying to run you off, just trying to offer some advice.

So instead of flashing above package one can simply install super su from play store and update binaries!!

Try to update binaries but it will give an error every time. I tell you because I tried with every CM updates but it always give an error. Despite of giving root perms.

Dude at least if you packed or compiled the cm rom please state [RoM] in op heading. ...
At least please fallow some min structure of op in development section....
Who knows someone may try it....
