Hi,
is there any way to increase incall volume of the Sony V ?, i'm a n00b, i couldn't find anything in the dev section ( i searched the forums and internet),
there is one to increase volume for normal song/mp3, i need something for call volumes, please help ,
can this be only done on rooted phones ?

If anyone feels his tab volume is too low and he want it to be a bit louder then this mod is 4 you.
This mod will Increase your system volume to abt 10%
Works on Rooted (ODEXED and DEOXED Roms)
INSTALLATION
1) Download the file and flash via CWM

2) Extract the attached file and copy to system/etc then set permissions to rw-r-r and reboot

Excellent mod, thanks a lot! The volume is obviously higher, it was ridiculously low with the original files. I just hope the speakers won't melt )

i decompiled home.apk but i cant seem to find the SDK version.i will keep looking.lowering it may help.also there are xhdpi resources in app so no need for resizing
Edit:lowering the sdk version to 16 (4.1.1)doesnt seem to get it working.
So it's impossible??

Yep butt there are other features of the launcher that cannot be ported so the whole launcher itself must be ported by e nice developer )

That's why I said lol.nice developer or not.it needs 4.2.2. lowering sdk to 16 was our only chance and it didnt work
Ps:i have already talked to xperia tipo, p,and ion developers.we all put project aside for now. But I hope it gets ported.i really like new launcher

You can diff framework.jar with original one by using e.g. Beyond Compare and you will know what to change...

Thanks. For anyone interested you need to mod VolumePanel + VolumePanel$StreamResources, not just VolumePanel as I tried for a while
Yeah, it was just a hint.
All VolumePanelxxxx.smali's are coming from one VolumePanel.java.
peetr, you seem to be clued up on java, have you ever thought about writing Xposed modules for your mods?
I don't know too much about coding, but I learned how to find things from java in smali and backwards and how many things work in bytecode. I don't even know yet, how to make some preference properly, so I am using properties for user changes in my rom. It's easy.

I wouldn't say Viper4Android is the best, as other people might prefer others.
Therefor, there's no "best" sound engine.
However, I'm also using Viper4Android as it has allot of nice features which others don't have.
Yes viper audio is very good but i wanted to know if there are some popular engines rather than viperaudio

This also isn't a sound engine. It's a UI which allows you to change kernel settings in order to increase volume values.
