Download any kernel + twrp (thunderzap / cocore-e / siri) for JB. Then, use universal kernel flasher (frapeti's app) to flash it. Reboot. Then you get your twrp. Btw, please read in the threads general / Q&A sections. Also when you download frapeti's UKF from market..there's a link to the original thread.
Download goomanager from the play store. Open it and pres the menu button, you should get an option that says "install open recovery script". Click it, it will download the latest version and install it

Jetmod is for GB. You're on 4.1.2 JB right? There are other roms for JB. Look here.

i suggest stay with stock firmware first.. familiarize it..
if time that you had enough with stock.. you can try custom roms..
read and learn first how to root, custom recovery, deodexed.. etc..
before doing some advanced tweaking on your device..
Yup. Download the rom. Place the zip file in ext sd. Make all wipes then install by using twrp/cwm recovery. Make backup first.

From the link provided by janmae, xwktn is only available.. Not sure if it will work with ddkq7.. do you have the custom kernel for ddkq7 or you have the one for xwktn?
For you to install the kernel, you have to choose apply update from sdcard option in stock recovery..

I recommend to head over to Darkyrom.com and install
Darky Rom 10.2 Resurrection edition
Follow all their directions, and voila, rooted rom.
Then make a backup of your EFS folder (this saves your imei settings, important for making network connections) Sometimes those settings get lost and only way to get back is go back to stock or GB rom.
Then make a nandroid backup of that installation just in case! (It's a good practice to always make a nandroid backup before installing a new rom from then out.
Then you can installed almost any rom you wish to after that via CWM.
This has been the easiest, most simple way I have ever rooted a SGS.

System UI zip
I had problems with System UI dozens of time.I don't think that flashing rom again is only way.Somebody could make System UI xxemb5 zip , and we could just flash it via CMW.This will help a lot , cus we could install anything knowing that if we screw up we can easily recover System UI.Flashing again wil delete all your mods , root , and some settings, even if you have a backup.Correct me if I am wrong , but if I am not please help

No man, you even don't have to go in recovery  Just download one of the kernel and put boot.img in your phone or externel SD card and open UKF (kernel flasher) and select boot.img (you need file manager like es file or root explorer) and flash it, after that you need to reboot.

1) Download cocore 8.6 kernel (look in original Android development).
2) extract the kernel.bin file
3) place kernel.bin file somewhere in your phone
4) open ukf and insert the boot.img (YOU NEED ES FILE MANAGER OR ROOT EXPLORER TO ADD THE FILE)
5) You now have now inserted kernel.bin file so now press flash kernel image.
6) He will say reboot phone, so reboot your phone.

No, everything is ok. Just there is no boot.img in that zip. But there is kernel.bin.md5 - use it in step 4 of explanation. :good:
Both kernels are the same, just one recovery is with touch interface, and on the other one you need to use hardware buttons.

can any one suggest me a rom which is fast , uses less battery ,can run games more efficiently !
thanx in advance :laugh::good:
If u are tired of TouchWizz try Ressyrection Remix v5.1. It has good perfornance sooo much personalization options.
And i u wont like it try others AOSP roms.

If you want stability, battery, performance and obviously kitkat, try AOSP by J-team. For me it's just awesome
thanx for the reply guys ! what about CyanogenMod 11 ?
is it better ?

Ok.
So u have rooted jellybean.
Go to CoCore thread and install CoCore witch CWM.
U are I9070 user so install CoCore E. Move downloaded .zips (i recommand to check Md5 sum before installing if md5 is wrong re-download occrupted .zip) to Sd card and than follo the instruction in CM 11 thread.
Caution : I am, this forum is not responsible for any damge tob your device.
I dont think nandroid backup is needed because if instaltion went wrong u should use Odin.
If u will have any problem with instalation ask me.

U dont need to install latest version id CoCore but from this two versions install CWM Touch .zip. CWM is better than TWRP. For some resons TWRP is gaving some problems witch installing some ROMs.
And one thing.
After installing CWM touch .zip u will have CWM but touch version.
Wysłane z Harsh-Fonika 5.1.

Most of CMs can be installed that way. You can try, if it is installed then ok, if not then try with cwm.

Yes, on stock recovery that is a option for it. And you must use external sd.
