I think first ask for this :
a. Are you on Gingerbread (Check on Settings > About Phone ! If your Android version is 2.3.4 or 2.3.5 or 2.3.6, you here to start !)
b. Are you already have CWM (Search some in these forum)

Just go here and find all you need to know about rooting, Flashing recovery and Custom roms.
I would suggest CM 7.2 by mebitek or wait for New Experience v6 by Autoradio

As the title of this thread says I would like to have the stock ROM for my X8 but it seems that I can't find it anywhere, could someone please help me by putting a WORKING download here ?

just google it bro. it's what i did a few days ago when i soft-bricked my phone.

You could also use PCC to directly flash the latest version of Stock ROM for X8

just look for the rom KERNEL STOCK say here http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=849 if you're not right for you search google.com

[Q] Upgrading Cm7 to MiniCM9?

Hello everyone,
I've read many threads and didn't understand really what they mean.
have a Sony Ericsson Xperia X8with Android 2.3.7 ( GingerDX ) running on it.
I want to upgrade it to MiniCM9 with Android 4.0.4 but i didn't a post explaining what to do.
Can anyone help ?

U just need to flash compatible kernel using flashtool and flash the mini cm9 using recovery...

If you are unable to understand you should give up and stick with GDX.
And one thread is enough.
