The vivid has an update and I have a Bata version of ICS and I want to go back to the regular version with all the bloat. The reason is Jellybean just came out for HTC Vivid and I want to get it. Or is there a jellybean rom out there I can use that has no bugs in it? Like most of them the cam wont work or wifi wont work. Please help.

I'm gonna go ahead and give you the benefit of the doubt and just assume that you're confused, not trolling.. the BEST I can figure is you're thinking of the ATT One X, which just started getting it's JB upgrade about March 7 (which is more than 2 weeks, but let's say you were estimating). The Vivid does not, and will never, have an official Jellybean update

blackbean rom! my new favorite rom. im loving the look of black !
I haven't seen anybody mention this, so ignore me if this is common knowledge. I was on my stock 4.2 rooted ROM with CWM recovery and I got the 4.2.1 system update. Attempted it with CWM... And it worked. But not only did it work, after I choose reboot phone, CWM warned me that the ROM I just installed might try to flash stock recovery, and asked if I'd like to fix it. It then warned that I might lose root, again asking if I'd like to fix it. So now I'm on 4.2.1. Through system update. Kept CWM and root. Awesome!

There's the problem. CWM and rom manager don't play well with this device. Go to bootloader, open a command line and write fastboot erase cache. Then flash another recovery like wcx or twrp and all should be fine.
You also need to open said zip and get the boot.img out... and either use flashimg GUI or fastboot to install said boot img

Yea I would have to agree wcx recovery is the best out right now. As far as the low in call volume, it seems all roms excluding wildchilds rom has the same issue. There has to be a way to pin point the issue as it will make Alot of ppl happy!

Hi. I got my htc one for Christmas. I immediately rooted the phone. As i was going to flash a custom rom, i came across two dev forums, the htc one and the original.
I want to know what's the difference? How can i know what is mine?
