[q] htc one 64 gb - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Any news about the 64 GB version?
Anyone has bought it?
Where I can buy it in Europe?

Its only available in Taiwan at the moment.

I would say in about a month or so you will be able to buy it.

End of april say 3 uk
Custom Stock Rom 4.1 Eternity
Brilliantly Stock

Seems 64gb vanished ? Me thinks somethings fishy going on with faulty handsets and that's why the delay.

One of the American carriers (? AT&T) has an exclusive on the 64Gb model(exclusivity probably it the USA only). I saw the advert for it. so definitely htc are making it.

I would say red htc one vanished for sure but not the 64gb model.

[Q] How much is te Nexus One?

Hello,
Has anyone bought their Nexus One from the Developer Store? If so, how much did you pay?
I can only find it on Pixmania/Expansys and it's around €520. I don't think it's worth that since the Desire is €419 on Vodafone and they're pretty much the same phone...
Thanks,
Keith
I bought mine in January or Febuary (2009) in the states for $529. I've heard that they are the same price sold as the "developer" version.

You bought the N1 in 2009? I bet a typo.
If you did buy the Dev version, did they give you an option between the AWS version and AT&T version?
Thanks people for your input. I bought a Desire in the end. I'll prob load a stock Android ROM in a few weeks (see what gingerbread offers)

We try to think we arn't
I think you should go for it since your friend is going there anyway and stuff is cheaper over there I believe. Although with all the issues with the device you might want to tell your friend to buy early and check them for defects. With the high demand there's no knowing when Google will release it to other countries. If warranty is something important to you then wait because you will have problems claiming it from Italy.

Read the warranty leaflet. 12 months international warranty including Europe so Italy would be fine.
Anyone know when will the official European version launched?
I meant outside UK.

[Q] HTC One LTE Compatibility

I plan to buy and HTC One ASAP but prefer an unlocked version. Does anyone know if the LTE on an unlocked HTC One that I buy in the US or UK would be compatible with US AT&T. Is there a specific HTC One model number that would guarantee US AT&T LTE compatibility? Any recommended source for purchase?
The same question here also, but on Bell in Canada.

Won't work on bell. If you check the ltecovere map on Bell' the 3600 mnz band(150 Mbps) is very limited. Rogers got it covered in GTA, and expanding further in coming May. I even talked to s Bell rep, and he said that the 2600 MHz band is only for late rocket USB sticks on their network, no smart phones for now.

Hold off buying the Int'l version. 2600 only LTE will not work on AT&T (which is the only NAM LTE band the Int'l version supports).
Right now all the online sources (like Clove, Negri, Expansys, Handtec) are selling the Int'l version.
As I believe OP is based in the US, what you really want to wait for is the Developer's version, which will have 64GB of storage and AT&T-compatible LTE.

Thanks. I think you have the right idea. Is developer's version available from AT&T or directly from HTC?

Developer Edition will be direct from HTC.
AT&T has announced they will have a 64GB carrier version, but timing is still unknown. Pre-Orders started today for the 32GB AT&T version.

[Q] HTC One Developers Edition ( 64 GB )

I am thinking to order HTC One Dev Edition from the HTC website. I am actually not interested in Dev model I just want 64GB variant so I gave a thot for this model. I never do any flashing on my phone, I just use as a normal user. I want to know few things about it :
1: Will there be a restriction on any 3rd party applications I install ?
2: Will it have any problem with the networks in Middle East ( Saudi Arabia )
3: What is difference between the dev edition and a normal one.
I would really appreciate if any one can suggest me. The phone will be available in local markets on 1st of may here priced at around 700$ for 32GB where as HTC is offering the 64GB Dev Edition for 649.99 $. Following is the link :

1) No restrictions at all unless you do some hacking and install some Saudi Arabia roms then and only then I could imagine thats where the restrictions come into play.
2) I dont know, youll have to see what frequencies your network provider supports
3) Nothing is different besides the fact one lets comes with no restrictions (ISNT sim locked, bootloader locked, OTA locked, etc ) and the other well is the exact opposite

I wouldn't see why not as many manufacturers like apple and Samsung have global warranties.
Btw, I would strongly advise you to get the www.squaretrade.com equivalent insurance in your country unless it's available there too

I very much like idea getting the Dev Edition which is unlocked and with 64GB onboard memory..
But it's mentioned there re LTE support - LTE: 700/850/AWS/1900 MHz (US)
Is there any chance to get this Dev Edition handheld working on 2600 Mhz LTE frequency (Dubai - Etisalat carrier) by flashing different radio/kernel or something like that?
Or it is completely hard-coded and fully defined by the hardware, and hence no chance to alter those frequencies by the software means?
Thank you.

[Q] Difference in nexus 6 models when flashing?

Hello,
My nexus 6 is about to arrive tomorrow, I'd like to flash 5.1 right away but I know there are two models of this nexus, one for the US and one for the rest. I'm not in the US, my phone was bought from a third party so I'm not sure which model I will get. Are firmwares/flashing/rooting/etc tools are different for each model? (I have a note 4 right now so I know I can't flash a N910C firmware on a N910U, for example).
