[Q] How much does Genuine Samsung Battery Cost? - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I'm looking for a new battery for my Galaxy note as the original one I had seems to have died. I saw a lot of discussion on other branded batteries, Chinese ones etc. but I'm looking for original genuine ones. Any idea how much these cost? It seems impossible to find in the net.
Thanks.

you should try on instead of in. just kidding, Go to accessory page in this forum and check some of the battery threads

You may try to use google with "Samsung EB615268VU", this is the reference written on the GT N7000 battery.

Its around 10-12$ with a 6 months warranty and yes from Official Samsung Service Centre.

Thanks for the replies. I'm in Dubai and went to the Samsung Service center, they ask for 150dhs which is around 40usd. It's a ripoff then
I have no other choice than to buy it as my battery can't sustain more than 20min npw, I can't find the battery nowhere here and ordering from Internet will take either too much time or similar price with quick shipment.

Where can I get an original screen protector?

As the title suggests...
I put my original one on as soon as I took the phone out of its box, but unfortunately I did it slightly squint!
It has now started gathering dust on the bit thats slightly off, so I want to replace it. Where can I find an official HTC one?

thanks...
They can't expect them to last very long since they're selling them in packs of 6!
At least it'll give me a couple of shots at sticking them on straight!
wow those are pretty expensive.......
better off getting some off ebay =)
I don't know if its just me, but the 2 times I tried looking through the HTC Store site it ctashed my Diamond?!
I was looking at the extended battery with new back cover!
Also... the dock says it has removable inserts for the standard and extended covers
You can also look here for a pack of two!
Can anyone tell me the difference between the SP P100 and the ST P170 versions?!
The SP P100 is £20.95 for 5 and the ST P170 is £27.95 for 6 and is pre-order.
Perhaps its thicker?
why don't you post in diamond accessories? this is not the place!

But i noticed at long use i looses much faster energy then the original one, i am using it 7 months +/- now
Hi,
I am german and just watched the ebay links.
I can tell you: Nothing special. The first link looks kinda interesting, because its only 7,77€, may give it a try.
But the second one looks totally crappy, the standard cheap no-name battery from china. And way too expensive. Wouldn't buy one.
Hope I can help with this
Grüsse aus Deutschland ;-)
the first link is the battery with 1500mAh and original it has 1230mAh!
But i dont know if this is real could be a fake too.
btw im from Germany too

I bought one like this also, the only visible difference on the batteries as I found is serial number. One is bigger and on another battery is smaller, but I don't know which one is now genuine and which one fake/spare.
Could you tell me, looking at yours?

[Q] Broken Charging Port

Hello everybody, I've had my T879 Note since December and now my charging port is broken. Word of advice dont let you kids play with your phone while its on the charger.
I found the replacement part, but was wondering if I could use one lets say from the i717 or from similer models. Pictures of the part looks the same for all the devices just that they are branded different. Would it matter?

Battery Replacement

Hi all.
It seems that my HTC One M8 battery gave up on me. It became swollen causing the screen to pop out. I want to change it asap to prevent any other problems. Any suggestions on trustworthy online sellers for OEM batteries? Preferably shipping from within European Union.
Thanks!!

You will save yourself headache and possibly broken phone by contacting
HTC online and arranging for battery replacement. Not easily done yourself.
Cost is competitive with choice of finding part and successfully getting battery removed and replaced.
Last time I did this, they sent me what looked like a new phone instead of the one I mailed in.
Can you guys please tell us how much you payed for the battery replacement?
Cheers
get an OE replacement. the headache to take it apart isnt worth cheaping out over when the generic craps out 6mo in.
hi friends, anyone has tried a m8's battery compatible for m8?
i need a new battery, and i find a 2900mah m8 battery, any suggestion? the price is the same... i have fear for compatibility
thank in advance
(sorry for my bad english)

What was the cost of that service?
Was $100 at that time
I've changed mine. It costed 1 hour and 20 USD.
For a battery changing and improvement, i suggest you to install an m9's battery. You Will have a bit longer lasting one. Itt fits exactly as the original m8's one. Yo Will get half an hour more screen time. The best non oem brand could be Patona. It have great scores from users in photo cameras.
You Can try do It by yourself ,not very difficult. Try search in YouTube about tutorials.
Has anyone actually done this to guarantee it fits properly?

My Note8 Intl is affected by 0% battery issue - it's possible to repair in USA?

Hi, after a week of use my Samsung Galaxy Note 8 SM-N9500 F/D 128GB Coral Blue runs out of battery overnight (wireless charging was not really charging) and I wasn't able to charge it again or wake it up. eBay seller was not helping and I'm not going to buy from them again (never-msrp) so I'm looking for a way to fix it in the USA, anyone have any suggestion on where to go for repair?
BTW, I called 1-800-SAMSUNG and they kindly suggest UBREAKIFIX as their point of service for International models in the USA but they refuse to get the work "Thanks for requesting a repair quote! We would love the opportunity to repair your Samsung Galaxy Note 8, but at this time we are unable to source parts for international Samsung phones. These phone have a model number that ends with F, such as, SM-955F for the Note 8. Please contact 1-800-SAMSUNG to inquire about where your device can be repaired".
Looking forward to your comments.
Regards.
Oh ****, I bought from that same exact vendor. Never letting my phone die...

Yes, but maybe not so many times, I'm going to try again with a little bit more of patience.
I heard from a repair guy that the failure is related to a power distribution chip in Note8 motherboard and the only fix possible is to replace that silicon.
Thats a shame. I got my N950F/DS from them and have went down to 0% and my phone is fine.

If you bought on eBay and/or paid via PayPal then you have 6 months buyer protection program. File a claim. It'll take a while, but you will get your money back.

Good for you, it seems that only a small batch of Note8 are affected.

Interesting, I didn't think in that option, since I've paid with PayPal I definitely will check that path. Thanks!
Are you sure it's legit Samsung and not some clone, or a refurb poorly repaired?
The stack charging is what I saw in Engadget also.
