look in development area - CustoNexus 3g should work and also on CM10.1 3g should work.... what's your rom?

Guys i bought an lg o2x(P990) yesterday.seems a great phone.
The about phone looks as follows:
Android version:
2.3.4
Baseband version:
1035.21_20120327
Kernel version:
2.6.32.9
LGE version:
LGP990-V20I
Now i need to ask what to do next so that i can flash android 4.1/4.2 custom roms to this device.sorry i can't search.dad has cut off internet on my notebook as finals are just a week away.also my phone's 2g connection faced a bandwidth limit last night.so i have surfing speed of only 5kbps(xda and google take eons to load)
If someone can provide some links to tools and instructions which i.can use to setup my device to flash custom roms,it would be really grateful.i'll sms those links to my neighbour who'll download those from his office.I already sent him the link for the AIO tool i found in the stickies.(though i need instructions on how to use it)
Please help me.out guys.this phone is not in warranty so i don't wanna do anything that'll (soft)brick it

Anurag,
you need to root it and CWM / TWRP for recovery ofcourse....just use the All in One Tool Kit to root it, if you are interested in the CM stuff, stick to the old boot loader.
if you are with the stock then you should have the new bootloader and partition. I use the stock based custom ROM....Django by Carburano, Flex by Civato and Opti by Jishnu....these are among the best ever,
You need to be on the AIOT and after the partitions and boot loaders are done, then select the baseband (if required) of ICS. You can also be with the old basebands-just that you will find "unknown baseband" shown but never mind if you have a good communication.

EDIT:THIS PHONE IS UNBRICKABLE....so dont worry about warranty.....

Try MIUI and ParanoidAndroid.
But sitck with GB till exams...

What I can do to resolve this problem , when someone call me and I answer it has a delay to answer and I can't talk . The delay it's about 4-5 seconds . I tried to flash the firmware with odin as pda but the problem persists. What can I do ?

I have also noticed couple seconds delay but I don't think it's thats much maybe 2 seconds.. what android and firmware version are u using?

Yes I'm roumanian but it's against the rules to speak another language. I installed DMod v5 and the problem is solved . And how you get 4.2.1?

I do not really realize that I and my 4.1.2 is only 2-3 seconds, really do not know, either from soft or does not realize, and I bought telefonu I still 4.1.1 He does 2-3 seconds, I thought to ask myself cyanogemod to see, but if you say it's resolved could be the original softu 4.1.2 :-?
I looked at cyanogenmod and AOKP sites, neither of them show S III mini as a supported device.
- Is it still possible to install one of them via a custom ROM?
- Otherwise are there good ROMs like cyanogenmod and AOKP for S III mini?
I mean, all in all I want to install a good and latest (possible) android versioned ROM for my phone.
we don't have official aokp/cm.
But maclaws aokp/cm run verry good ,

how about updating?
say, i installed maclaw ROM (CyanogenMod 10.1 based). when the CyanogenMod 10.2 is ready, will i have to manually update (flash again) or is it automatic?

i´m testing the aokp-version from maclaw, i still can´t find any bugs!
im using Light by somin.n from begin to newest version 6 - working fine:laugh:
im just posting to get 10 posts...its a really annoying limitation!
I'm using Maclaw's CM from a week, it's perfect, no bugs, and the battery life is pretty great

Hi guys,
My girlfriend just got the S3 Mini (GT-8190N) and she wants it to be rooted and also a bit more slim i.e. without the bloatware.
However I can't seem to find that many ROMS for the phone - is it because it's fairly new (being with NFC)?
If you know of any good rooms - please let me know.

You can install any rom but your NFC wont work.

In other words, it will perfectly safe to install a normal 8190 rom on a 8190N phone with only NFC not working?

only your nfc wont be working. i have same phone as you and using maclaw cm10.2.
You can root the device and remove the bloatware with titanium backup.

Is there any developer out there who want to build the ENDROIX V ROM for us ?
I used it on the Galaxy S+ and it looked pretty well and it was smooooth (on a 1x1,4ghz with 512 RAM device )
I would very apriciate it if someone is able to manage this.
