Can i change the idiom ?

Hello,
I will buy a 4X HD, here in Brazil, but i have onoe question: if it comes with Portuguese-Portugal, can i change for Portuguese-Brazil ? If YES, how can i do it ?

I don't think so, otherwise other with the arabian version could do the same.
But the difference between PT-PT and PT-BR is that big?
You can use some keyboards for texting with the option PT-BR, like that you'll have the PT-PT only on the phone settings basicaly.
Try SwiftKey #, it's very good, with a lot of options, one of them PT-BR.

At first, thank you for posting.
Actually it is not THAT BIG, but kinda bothers me... My S2 has PT-BR, i'd like to have it in my future 4X HD.
I use Swiftkey 3, it is perfect.

Because you can flash the .kdz file of the Brazilian ROM, and then you will have pt-BR.
If you bought it in Brazil, it will most likely already come with this rom.
The only problem is that the brazilian rom is a little outdated, and you will miss all the changes from update V10C onwards

How do you know that if you don't have he phone yet?
Maybe because once the differences are not so big, they decided to provide the latest firmware to avoid complains.
The good news are that you can always downgrade to the PT-BR version.

How do i know ? I asked for the seller and he told me that.
I dont like that difference xD

When I said downgrade, I mean go to an earlyer version, in your case V10B... the latest for Brasil.

When my 4X HD arrives, i will ckeck the languages and try to install a good one. I hope i wont have problema trying to install a new ROM.

why should i flash my v20o to v10a?
isnt awkward? all i want is to try or test the v28c ics leaked should i follow it or not?

The link provided was V28C as zip (http://d-h.st/f16). Extract it and flash via SmartFlash.

I went link hunting to get you the 28c link and you can't read o use common sense?

the link is for the leaked version, is the same i posted its a zip file that contains the *.bin and *.fls file to use it with smartflash.
I've tested v28, its very good, a little laggy on demanding games, but as a daily driver rom is OK.

Try SmartFlash tool
It does take a little work but I found that using the SmartFlash tool worked very well for me.
My Optimus Black is now rooted on 2.3.4 v20i.
I can't post a direct link to the instructions I used as I'm a noob here and this is just my first post, but if you search for "Root LG P970 with Smart Flash Tool" you'll find the instructions and links you need to do it right.

My frnd has galaxy ace froyo version..he needs to update it to gingerbread...can anyone post link to download stock gingerbread firmware for india....?..and also pls suggest best custom rom without any bugs...

Update it via kies or download firmware from sammobile.

I am not being lazy..my phone is galaxy SL...i am just helping my frnd in upgrading as he is not aware of it....i am not doing it for my sake...if u just cant help, pls dnt post words like that i am being lazy to search....i just asked which rom would be better? Thats it......

Last I checked, having a different phone doesn't inhibit your ability to search the forums... But to 'help' you,I like ICS/JB, I would recommend Wayland's CM ROMs
