I have been searching for a solution to this, but to no avial. Please advise if anyone knows how to increase the size of the font for popup notifications. My 43 year old eyes are having problems seeing what it says.
My 46 year old eyes have the same problem. This is what it took to correct it.

Put your face right up to the device screen. Don't touch it with your nose though, it'll leave a smudge. Okay just kidding
This is used for menu bar fonts:
Code:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\GWE\Menu\BarFnt]
"Ht"=dword:000003E8
This is used for popup menu fonts:
Code:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\GWE\Menu\PopFnt]
"Ht"=dword:000003E8
Just double the Ht value, you'll get bigger font!
sakajati,
Thank you your time and reply. You are correct it does increase the Menu font - but I am looking for a way to increase the size of the POP-Notifications.
See the picture attached in the 1st post.
I see, here's what you looking for:
Code:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\GDI\SysFnt]
"Ht"=dword:00000384
Increase the Ht value to your liking
Again, thanks but it still does not effect the size of the pop up font... it does change on screen messages, but not the size of the font as described in post 1.
how about go to start/settings/ system/screen and adjust the text size over there.. tell me if it works..
hayaticik
thanks, but I already have it set that way. If you look at the attached in 1st post, you may be able to tell that (by looking at the email) it is set to large font, but the notification is very small font.
thanks.
Jeff
Hi
I need help to decrease or shrink the icon size (NOT the font size) on the HTC Diamond.
I've already reduced the fonts - now all the ticks and icons are huge....
I've only ever found the answer once and I've tried forthe last hour to find the answer again (after a hard reset....)
Thanks in advance
HI all,
this is my first post in this such a great community so I hope you'll help me:
First check Attachment. This is my currect home screen. I made several arrows here and my question is: is it possible to remove those black lines? This is main question and second: if it's not possible to remove it, where is possible to change the color of those black/grey lines?
Thank you
I am looking for a white theme for the diamond 2 with a black font and a white background (such as that of diamond 1 >>> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=433050).
In the sun you can see the original black background is very bad, because the display is simply too dark. With a white background, this would be probably much better.
Unfortunately I do not find a suitable theme for my device. Who can create such a theme?
Shouldn't be too hard ... all the white images that are needed for the theme can be found in the original ROM
And where are these files?
I don't know how I need to create this theme?
Does no one help me?
I move it up again.
When the sun appears on the diamond is really nothing more to see.
I would even be happy, if someone could tell me how I am on the TF3d homescreen the change in writing on black, so I can choose a white background picture can.
Please, help me!
You can take the Vodafone ROM. I already answered at PPC.ch
