[Q] wifi troubles

On ultimate rom. Also happened in cog rom. Sometimes wifi doesnt want to turn on, ill have to turn it on 3 times before it goes on sometime, in the options it will say error. I never ever have problems when i am connected,and it works very whenn when its connected, but i have had to restart phone to get it to connect before. Whats the reason for this? Bug?

i had the same issue before, do not know the exact reason, you just have to try different rom ...

What roms had it and what didnt?

found out that clearning wifi data using root explorer helps for about 10 connects or so. then it happens after again....

s3 feature of checking if ur still reading the screen

can we install that app that checks if we are still reading the screen of the phone. if it finds we are not looking anymore it turns the display off.

Mini USB to HDMI signal loss problem :/

Hi there awesome XDAers, I went out and paid £25 for an official samsung mini usb to tv lead (HDMIwhich works fine but I lose all signal when it's plugged in to the tv... wifi stays on but I lose all network signals rendering my phone useless.
Anyone know how I can stop the lead automatically shutting off the signal?
I'm rooted with latest philZ and TeamUnionRom v6

Battery problem.

My phone is consuming too much battery power.
I will give you picture and tell me if this consumption is normal if not tell me why am I getting this awkward battery problem.

I think thats normal since you surf the net much or you can try read the thread at the galaxy SIII mini general forum about the latest kernel for better battery life.

theres no real way of telling what is draining your battery unless you're rooted and have Better battery stats

Looks like I'm going to root my device. Can someone please give easy way to root it..

You can give it a try to a new rom if you have rooted your device, if you haven't you can install juicedefender from google play to optimize your battery life and optimize your time while surfing the web with chrome.

I need help galaxy s advance

I just updated my galaxy s advance to jelly bean using Odine 3.07..
Everything was going ok during update process, then everything in my device working stability for maximum 10 days only & while charging it shows charging icon and after it completely 100% done,
Normally I unplug it as usual and faces the problem of freezing charge icon for long time & it still freezes until next restart...
So every time I connect charger or usb cable I face that problem...
I tried flashing new rome but no changes. Any idea for solving this case? & can someone help me explaining that strange issue!!!

I had charging issues a while ago when JB came out for our phone, a full factory fixed it but ymmv.

If fully wipe or reflashing fw can't solve your problem, it will be your phone's usb port problem. If you watch cpu usage, then there will be no deep sleep and it will always be at least 200MHz. You should go to service center and change usb port.It will help you.

First of all I thank you for your consideration... I did a hard reset & wipe all data and I still faces the problem...
I have to tell you that crash not effects to my device at all.. it just drive me crazy.

I experienced it also but the problem is either your usb port or your usb cable.After using a different usb port for me it worked

Tell me if it was easy to change usb port out of warranty or it needs an expert?
