i think yes.. maybe in a few weeks..

I am running the official version and so far so good...the music freezes are fixed and flash player
11 works fine...i still didn't have a random network crash...i think im going to stick with the official release for a while until some more roms come out.

If u want ICS you Can Download The Indian Version and Flash It

I cant install the update am alwayes go in bootloop ...am using mobile odin ...caus my device wont connect to the pc ....mobile odin cant flash bootloader ...any thing can i do to flash the ICS ???

I updated my S II (I9100G) officially everything is fine but my RAM is decreased to 687MB from 0.91GB is it normal ?

you need a PC 1st time flashing ICS mobile odin wont work

which one is better...stock ics kernel or codeworkx lp7 kernel? in term of performance

i cant open gallery in cm9 it says no sd card,but i can see my pictures as blurred images behind this popup...

I have galaxy mini 2.3.6 & want update it to 4.0.3

Reading won't hurt you.. at least 5 to 10 threads below this are discussion threads that will give you the information about ICS. And don't expect too much.. ICS for our device is messy and not everything works..

We don't have any official ICS release for galaxy mini.. ...IF you want ICS you must have a custom ROM flashed (CM9/AOKP etc)...
And why don't you google any thing before posting it here ?

but i flashed cm 7 nightly edition..
every thing went very well but the main problem was the Browser....very very very slow...
So i decided to change back to my stock rom....
but my phone is just restarting ....help me.....

soo sorry. my bad. actually what i meant was i also was looking 4 4.0.(ics). but not satisfied. now i found aokp project by whisp .... ie. aokp milestone rc2 zip. please find it in Android dev. sec.. most beautiful rom. this is just a suggest. ,.

Nexus ROM with my choice of apps?!

I'm wanting to flash my GNote to a Nexus based rom (any pure android experience rom) with the exception of ability to use S-Pen, install S Memo, and include Samsung Dive. Is there such a ROM?

What nexus based rom??
Do you mean cm9,cm10,aosp based roms
If yes,then try paranoid android jb..You cant use smemo and those samsung apps but there are alternatives for them

Aosp roms are useless now a days.. JB samsung roms are way ahead on smoothness and features... Not to mention multi view and others...

There is an S-Memo APK that has been ported to work on AOSP based ROMs such as AOKP and CM. Check the SGH-I747 forums. I've used it and it works pretty well. Also, try Catch with the Sketch add on. I prefer it over S-Memo, personally.

I agree with the features, I love the Samsung features and can't wait for them to arrive on the JB update. Meanwhile, I just want to see how my phone would run with AOSP roms. Thanks!

Flash the mod and dont forget to clear the data of flashbarservice.apk using titanium backup for the mod to work perfectly

yes I did that raj, and the apps show up but I cannot use all apps on the split screen. like WhatsApp and xda don't come together. It's like only the apps were there in stock comes.

Yay I'm back. Will release TouchWiz ICS4.5 this weekend and TW5 JB in two weeks.
As above I have incorporated TonyP's LG CWM ROM with CM10 to make as a LG3 ROM with 4.1. I have deleted the CM10 parts from it later so its very stock like. Please a few testers try it and give me feedback as my 2X isn't available at the moment.

I have downloaded it, and installed it. First off all I use 3.0 gig data partition and teamwin recovery, wich works flawlessly. It says in system info that it is still 4.0.4 but I don't know if that's actually true , the rom is smoother than the others, stefan and tonyp's and for the rest I don't really know what to say, sorry I'm a noob but, thanks and it works! LD

If you can run CM10 it will work. Requires no partition.

Hi guys, as the thread name itself says, can anyone give me a link to the lock screen for the stock & stock based ROMs ? Or can anyone make a guide so as to know how to get that lock screen style on our ROMs ?

Spacecaker's SGS2 v12 rom has S4 like lockscreen..
Though not as smooth as CM10 but its quite good considering its on stock..
