just happen to install the lactose rom from the above mentioned link and the search key on the HTC incredible S is now mapped to lock the screen and put it in sleep....i want to map that key back to search app...!!!
i tried using the zip file mentioned in the thread but that is screwing up my home key.
I tried this rom too and had the same issue. Could not resolve this issue at all. Sorry

i was able to fix that key ... it was an easy fix...!!!!

Sorry if this has been asked before or taken care of but I have searched and looked everywhere and cannot find it.
Well anyway as the subject describes, I get this error when I click on the calendar softkey in the left hand corner of the device. Anyone have any kind of fix for this??

it's only since i've upgraded to the Cingular_RUU_Wizard_AKU2.3_Custom_RNG_THM_A2DP_TEST2 Rom... is it the same for you?
the calendar still works... just not the soft key function... i've changed it to messaging.. i'd like to know how to resolve though?

Search for HTCCalendar SoftKeys and be sure to select Posts instead of threads.
The answer is there in at least 3 or 4 thread already.

Yes -- I have /Windows/HTCCalendar_836.exe and I also have /Windows/calendar.exe
I'm doing a workaround right now by having a shortcut through Spb Pocket Plus to my Today screen, so it's not like I can't use the calendar at all So -- not a "biggie", just an annoyance. . .

Which ROM are you using? I don't know why it would be called "HTCCalendar_836.exe " unless you're using a ROM from elsewhere. Try renaming it to "HTCCalendar.exe".

I'm using the Cingular_RUU_Wizard_AKU2.3_Custom_RNG_THM_A2DP_TEST2 ROM. I changed the "HTCCalendar_836.exe" to "htccalendar.exe" and now it's working fine.
Not sure why the file was misnamed, either. The only actual program installed on my 8125 is MS Voice Command 1.5 and IIWPO, which I found on these forums -- plus some "root files" for Sbsh Pocket Weather and OnCourse Navigator 5. Everything else is installed to my storage card, with shortcuts through the Spb Today plugin to open them.

Many Imagio had Buttons issue! mine is not yet for ~4 months used.
Stuck button is damn F**kin' things... it's palsy buttons and u can't press to to commands from buttons. This issue come from HTC design or Verizon? i don't know :-??

why not ? instead of playing with ps3, i prefer to play with my device... I can hold it on my hand in metro, bus, and train...
Or - serious response - simple curiosity, to understant how a new OS - purist guys, forgive me for my sin - works.
In particular, this question arose when i see the guy of service-center try this key combo before accepting my broken device... so i wonder if it was akind of check on rom version/manipulation...

All done for wipe anything before flashing new ROM but may be it's come from the ROM itself. For fix permissions, may I know which file/apk need to do that? Looking forward for your info. :good:

Absolutely like that but the two button not in "open it once" or "always. That why I called it bug.

My Device is on the latest Android (. 50) flashed with Newflasher. But Every Time i use the fingerprint sensor there is a big delay until the phone "wake up". I remove already the sd card, but it does not help.

Problem found.
I had an unlocking, go to home screen and app switching delay.
Maybe a memory leak or a slow method.

You can try it without existenze to compare
It is not easy to modify a closed source stock firmware.
I don't know if he can fix it.

Its curios because on the older Version i don't have these Problems. I will make a downgrade.
