Guys,
I'm on I9000XWJM1, just notice yesterday that my FB (Contact and Calendar) and Twitter sync is no longer working on SGS.
Error is "authentication failed"
I tried remove and add back the account via
Contact > Get Friends > Add Account > Facebook
Contact > Get Friends > Add Account > Twitter
but I get "Login failed. Try later"
anyone experience the same issue?
Nothing problems on my SGS

Same problem, only for My Space and Facebook. After this error I've add an Titter account and no errors. But can't add an Facebook or My Space account. I reinstalled another firmware, JM1, JPK but the same problem.
Same issue for me, restored to jm1 and doesnt work, this only started happening to me yesterday, i wonder if there is an issue at facebook or maybe with android?
Same here after flashed voodoo lag fix + reset to factory.

Clearly Samsung Galaxy S problem, none of MySpace, Facebook or Tweeter accounts doesn't work. When only MySpace and FaceBook accounts didn't work I've added a Tweeter account and it was ok. But after reflashing (thinked this will solve the problem), also Tweeter account didn't work anymore. Very frustrating. It's something related to SNSaccounts Service.
The same here.
Having the same problem here on my JPK, only started having the issue yesterday, reflashed today with JM1 but didnt fix it so flashed back to JPK. Can't sync any FB contacts into my contacts list. Says 'Login faild. Try later'
Also unable to receive any notifications through facebook for android.

Flashing a new firmware or upgrading through Kies never does a clean install. I was so frustrated that I've rooted my phone, entered system/app and deleted accountsync app and odex (first two files, don't remember exactly the names) and Snsaccount and Snsprovider apks and odexes. Contacts icon dissapeared and when I was accessing contacts through dialer always FC. Update to JM1 again through Kies and everything is ok now, SNS accounts works again.

im using still the same fw, and i can confirm that it works again. No change, but now working again.

Does anyone know how to solve it without deleting apks and flashing firmwares? I can't find any good information anywhere on this annoying issue.
On Doc JPO7.6.2, having this same issue as well... aiks...
google, seach, no solution yet.
Found this....
1. Log in to the desktop version of Facebook/Twitter/whatever the problem app is
2. Go to the application settings (Facebook: Account>Application Settings; Twitter: Settings>Connections)
3. Remove or Revoke the Samsung Mobile option from this list
4. Wait a couple of minutes, then try adding the account on your phone
let me know if it works...
mine still not working.. mayb need to wait longer...
What am I suposed to do?
Hi, everybody, my SGS has the same problem, but only related to the Orkut sync (Orkut is a social network from google, very popular in Brazil). I tried several ways to solve this problem, like wipe the phone and upgrade the rom with Odin (with re-partition e bootloader reinstall, using several roms, froyo and eclair) and nothing worked until I use a new orkut(google) account, and it worked, but now, suddenly (in fact, after I tried to root with z4root, but I instaled a new rom already, with re-partition) stops to sync, and the same message is displayed.
What am I suposed to do?
I'll try.

1- I use Odin whit re-partition already, but I´ll try this way. What do you think about?
2- There is some GT-I9000 clean install tutorial?

I tried, but still not working.
Is it just me or why I cant log in on my google account.
I can log on my google account on internet, but not by phone apps.
I upgraded from JF3 to JM8 yesterday, but I didnt try yday.
So is it google server problem or is it on my end?
Btw might this have anything to do with an error i got while flashing. "applying multicsc,copy_multi_carrier from: XEE, cannot access /system/csc/XEE/system" but it went forward anyways.
edit: upgrated to JM9 and now signing in works. weird :F
The Bell version of the I9000M comes with Samsung Email which supports Exchange. However when trying to set up an exchange account I consistently get an error when trying to add an account:
Internal Error
An error occurred. Please try again(100).

Anyone else run into this issue? It was working for me before.
I recently purchased a used Galaxy S i9000 unlocked (from 3 UK). I'm currently using it in India. I updated it to official froyo via kies immediately after buying.
I'm not able to sign into Android Market using google account. It gives the famous errors like :
Could not establish a reliable connection to google servers
The service Google services framework has stopped unexpectedly ...
An error has occured. Please try again ...
I have googled a lot for the solution and I have tried many solutions including :
Factory data reset
Clearing caches of application
but none of them is working for me ...
Is there anyone who is facing a similar problem and has solved it successfully ? Is it something related to the network lock and/or branding of 3 UK ? (But it's already unlocked)
Can the problem be solved if I update to Android 2.3 ??
Try signing in to You Tube via the You Tube app with your gmail account.
After you sign into You Tube, try signing back into the market.

I had already tried that trick. The sync account is successfully created and the sync in gmail is working properly, but the Market still shows "An error has occured".

Some people on the Android Forums said they fixed it with a battery pull.
Another possible solution: Go to Settings -> Accounts & Sync and ensure that the Background Data box ("Applications can sync, send and receive data at any time") is checked.

The battery pull didn't work. Can you describe the method in detail ?
And the 'Background Data' box is already ticked.

I have just bought the s3 mini phone, and I have a strange error. When I recieve a message on Google talk, i get the error message that com.google.process.gapps has stopped.
Ive tried factory reset, going to settings>applications>all and cleared data for Internet, all google services, Ive disabled/enabled Downloads, Downloads manager, also i have removed and restored Google account multiple times, and tried several google accounts. Still the same com.google.process.gapps error appears.
I also experimented with Sync properties, but no luck.
Well, i know i can wait for cwm recovery and upgrade gapps probably, but is there a solution to this problem. It seems to be I8910 specific.
