Dock-like app

Hey all, i'm a new user in the world of android and have been playing around with the different roms out there. When I installed the newest version of cyanogen there was this dock like widget/app on my home screen that had controls to turn off wifi, bluetooth, brightness and one other thing that I can't remember. Now that I have installed eClair 5.2 by Laszlo, I don't have the widget and I really want that ease of use. Is there a apk file or an widget in the app market that will give me this functionality?
Thanks
Will
It should be there, it's called Power control
cool, found it, thanks for the help

New ICS: Apps missing?

I loved the ICS calendar (agenda) and photo gallery widgets from the previous builds, how can I get them for the official ICS? Thanks!
Also, any way to use S planner widget on Nova launcher?
It seems this update is still incompatible with many icons/widgets ATM. I have many icons missing using Go Launcher EX and it suffers from a lot of lag over GB.
I guess only time will be the cure for now.
Update: I pulled gallery apk from cm9 and put it in system/app..it works! The widget is there!
Unfortunately, calendar, doesn't work...I tried moving calender and calenderprovider apk's from cm9 over but it won't show up after reboot, and won't install (says existing app with conflicting certificate exists?). Any advice?
Along these same lines...can I replace MMS.apk from CM9 over the stock ICS one? I much prefer the look. Also the dialer? Will this be safe?
Also, in regards to the calendar..is S planner conflicting? Can I just backup/delete s planner and then install CM9 calendar apk?

Xperia Home for ICS Nexus S

Hello folks,
This is Xperia Home app for ICS on Nexus S.
You can install this app as any other Home replacement app. This is a mod from Xperia ROM ported to Nexus S.
For people who don't wish to remove the stock Google ICS and still use the Xperia Home can now do it with this app. It changes the drawer and has customizations for both drawer as well as for the Home screen....
Should work on Non-rooted phones too....Not tested though.

Good to see someone sharing a basic old thing, which was here for ages.
Thanks for the share again.
The thing that is here for ages is really aged ....this is 0.9c with customizations for home and drawer

[Q] Widgets question

Hello!
I noticed, that in apex launcher i don't have some widgets that i do have in stock tuchwiz. For example the weather widget or s planer widget. I got really used to apex but I would like to use that widgets to. Is there any fix to this problem?
Btw, I'm using latest alliance rom (LSA leak).
Thanks
I was searching for a solution to this as well. This is a known issue currently without a fix.
The stock widgets comes from the Touch Wiz UI, therefore you can't find it in other UI. It is not totally impossible to make it available in other UI, but most users wanted to use another UI because it has better widgets and mods, so it is unlikely that you will find stock widgets in other UI. I personally prefer the SPlanner widget, so I am still staying on TW.
I hope this clears things up. If you find this helpful, please press thank button. :fingers-crossed:

Home screen layout

Hi there,
I recently upgraded to a Nexus 5 32GB from my Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 running Android 2.3.6. However, one of the big dilemma's I have been facing is how to organize my home screens (e.g. placement of widgets, app shortcuts, etc.). I know it sounds silly, but it is something which I feel I need to get right. My current setup is;
Google now
Screen 1: Clock widget and battery widget
Screen 2: Power toggles and 4 app folders for commonly used apps
Screen 3: Flipboard widget and Facebook status widget
Screen 4: Sunrise calendar widget
Let me know what your setups are. I am keen to try different setups to see what works, as I am still getting a feel for the device.
Thanks!
