Ofcourse their gonna release more than two devices within a year. They are gonna release the same amount they released last year but reserving the one branding for a single flagship device. Hopefully their will only be One flagship this year even if a butterfly successor comes.

I switched. Both awesome phones but I found some of the pluses of the s4 outweighed those of the HTC (that ended up making a difference FOR ME). Longer lasting faster charging swappable battery, better daytime photos, better blacks, larger and a dimmer screen for easy dark / nighttime use. Those were some of the choices. Also, Samsung seems to support their phones longer software update wise.

I thought about it but for me the One is just perfect. I've had every Galaxy phone since the Captivate and the One is the one that finally got me away from Samsung.

Hey there,
Just wanted to know something..
My HTC One is a T-Mobile device that was unlocked by my seller.
I am running 1.27.531.8 and I just want to know..
Will I get the update along with the other T-Mobile HTC One owners, or will I get it sometime else?

Same time as other T-Mobile Ones.

That's right htcdev now has source for HTC one 4.2.2 for all models except.....you guessed it Sprint and Verizon

That's such bull****. Fir the 250 dollars I spend a month on my bill along with many others, sprint should make it be released before all others.

Well, considering Sprint's not supposed to have 4.2.2, they're skipping right to 4.3, this doesn't bother me.
^^^This. Waiting patiently for 4.3

HTC won't have a release for Sprint, because it is/was skipped...
Verizon just launched and HTCdev blocked the dev unlock for the Verizon HTC One so I wouldn't expect that one to be released if at all since it was dropped from HTCdev.
