Customization version and active customization different and missing the last part - Xperia Z Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi All,
I've flashed my xperia z using the Australia unbranded ftf and I noticed now that when I view service info it is showing
Customization Version:
1270-4975_R8A
Active Customization:
1270-9705
I was with vodafone and my previous info before flashing was
Customization Version
1271-0244_R6A
Active Customization:
1270-9705_R7A
As you can see, the customization version and active customization are both different, but now after flashing my active customization remains to be the same as before flashing but with the last part "_R7A"
Just hoping to know if this is normal? or will there be problem later on with it?
Thanks!

Uh... I'm not really sure what you meant but Faryaab is an Admin of Sammobile and he's also the one that made that article on the website of Sammobile.
No point of making a separate thread really since majority of the inquiries will be posted on the thread of Faryaab.

GOOD NEWS

LOLLIPOP IS OUT FOR THE SM-T800 10.5 WI-FI
Firmware is on Sammobile
FRANCE PDA T800XXU1 BOCC
CSC T800XXU1 BOC4
LOLLIPOP VERSION 5.0.2
Got to wait for SM-T805 now then.
its here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-s/general/samsung-lollipop-range-tab-s-t3021612
5.0.2 Changes
Installed with Odin 1.85 The initial boot time is longer than Kitkat but when it does boot there is a pleasant surprise...No more blue theme, settings is in white with a light blue top bar. The only icon change is Internet it is now a light shade of purple, and the web ex icon has changed. Performance seems to be improved no lag anymore with magazine UX. The launcher has a new section when screen is long pressed - Home Screen Settings, but the only thing there is content home screen dialog concerning view news and social media and open apps in one place.
Apart from these minor changes that is it. I pressume the rest is under the hood improvements. By the way I don't know if this is relevant or not but I had rooted previously, so my knox counter was 0x1 but there was no problem upgrading to 5.0.2.
Hope this helps.......
Just Noticed on Notification Panel Multi User, but the volume control is gone, only the brightness control remains.

Sorry I can not answer that question, All I know is I live in Luxembourg so my kit kat was LUX, But because my know was tripped I did not really care where the rom was from, it is only the WiFi model so I do not have to worry about modems for GSM. One thing I did notice though was a new section under About device underneath the section for SE for Android. This is what it says:
Knox Version...Standard SDK 5.30 .. Knox Version 2.3... Premium SDK 2.30... Customization SDK 2.40.... Container 2.30... CEP 2.0.1.... Enterprise Billing 1.10.... SE for Android 2.3.0.... SSO 2.1.1...... TIMA 3.0 and VPN 2.20.
I have not seen this on any of my tablets before ....it would seem Samsung has beefed up Knox and security.
I installed 5.0.2 and I am happy with it but my main tablet is my note 12.2 pro which is my daily driver so I am not so bothered if my T800 stays on this French version it will probably be no different than the LUX version but I would have to wait an eternity for the update....I do not think Samsung knows where Luxembourg is, my Galaxy tab 7.7 is still on custom rom JB 4.1.2. But the official firmware is honeycomb 3.2 for Luxembourg !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If I was you I would wait from some other people's feed back if you are unsure, I only started this post to let people know the update was out and to give some info... I use root and customise all my tablets and phones but when it comes to Knox and bootloaders I am not a specialist, and I cannot for sure tell you what the outcome may be.....as I said this new Knox section is new and complicated it may well be that the roms may be region locked or specific once they are flashed, I will find out in the future if
or when I try to flash from another region. Sorry for the long winded post but I just want to give you and others as much Info as possible.........Hope this helps.
P.S A few other things the changelist is 4403645, and the bootloader is T800XXU1BOCC.
Wow! Getting it OTA right now!
Hope it goes smoooooth!

I came from Norma Fan Edition Nougat.
I did:
- Flashed BL and CP using Odin
- Reboot in recovery and Wiped System, Data, Davik Cache, Cache
- Still in recovery, flash ROM
- Clean Install (i did not try dirty flash)
- Reboot
It is working very well.
Thanks again to all dev and people working on that ROM :highfive:
plssss sm-g9300
Little feedback compared to Norma fan edition Nougat:
Good:
- UI and security updated which is a good thing
- OREO and new touchwiz functions
- Battery management still very good
Less good:
- the overall experience is slower than before
- getting out of deep sleep is laggy

This issue is common, especially when when dirty flash or use titanium backup to restore apps. Nothing related to the rom itself.
You need applications to auto run. Go to:
- Smart Manager (samsung app)
- on the bottom, swipe left
- click on Auto run App
- select the apps you think can't have background notification
Guys could anyone please help on how to properly install Magisk Root for this ROM?
I tried default Magisk guide which involves root uninstall through SuperSU application with restoring default bootloader and not restoring recovery.
After this I install Magisk Manager, it updates itself than asks to download a zip file and flash it via recovery which i did. After reboot I successfully got root it works, but when my phone reboots it says
red font caps "kernel is not seandroid enforcing" in top left corner and i have noticed that my device performance overall dropped noticeably even when sliding through desktop and all application list in touchwiz
UPD reflashed this ROM in dirty Mode, performance is back to normal. kernel error is gone. SuperSU is back. Tried unuinstalling it without restoring bootloader. Now Magisk won't flash, says my boot loader is modified. previous version of this ROM had Magisk i think. So anyway to properly install Magisk here?
Can you make one for scv33 same processor?
Please we Japanese user wants rom too its is unlocked bootloader.
Hello. This ROM could work on the S7 SMG935F variant? Pleas somebody can help me?

I also have this rom built for the SM-G9600, but I have no way to test it. If someone is willing to try it out and give feedback, I'd appreciate it. Just follow the same instructions as in post #1, but use Krog_G9600_4DTD5_NoteRom_V2 as the rom zip. Please get a recovery log just in case it doesn't boot so I can check it out. Also, please be specific in your feedback as to which rom you are referring to.

Here's another attempt for your G9608. Wipe and flash

After you flash, but before you reboot, go to advanced then copy log and upload the log please. I'd like to look at it.

For anyone who prefers stock status bar clock and battery over 3minit, flash this zip

yes, I have wipe data, then perform 4 wipe (davik, davik cache, data, system) then flash the zip file
but the problem here is that my original odm folder didn't change after flashing the zip file, I think it was the cause of the above errors.
