Hi!
Today I downloaded newest version of Walkman app via Sony Update Center app.
App is very good and have new look
I only sharing this app :good:
New features:
- new fresh look like in Lolipop or new Youtube app
- new album art
- new icons
- new launcher app icon
- you can use other equaliser from google play
- navbar size fixed, now you can have any navbar size without editing nothing
- smooth scrolling and fast operations
Bugs:
Maybe this is only for Existenz 4.50 rom, because can't open audio settings, so before installing new Walkman set audio settings.
Perhaps you can open audio settings if you have stock rom.
Installation:
Install like normal app, you don't need root.
Enjoy new Walkman
Why we find alot of threads now with updated walkman if we all can simply update it with update center -__-
Sorry just my way of seeing,
You can make the settings in walkman to work, this is what brother @niaboc79 explained what todo and howto fix

In old versions of the Xperia Arc, I really enjoyed Time Scape. I know it's no longer officially supported and understand that it was replaced by Socialife, but I can't find anything about this? Is there any way I can get something like timescape running on Xperia Z2 with CM 12.1?
If you can get a group of people who know java programming then it's possible = nah, forget it. The project is dead for ears.

The kitkat version didn't work for me. I tried the CM 11 version and it only worked for facebook. Anyways, is there a widget for it? If I have to launch the app each time it's sort of pointless...
As marshmallow has been officially launched on certain xperias, is someone working on it to port it to SP?
It will be awesome.
It really is could be a great thing. However, fundamentally and technically, this is impossible....

I will need to write a book if i need to explain to you.
But i simple words, "looks" aren't ported. They are just remade to mockup the same experience. Apps can be ported thanks to a general Sony framework
But the whole ROM of Marshmallow? Then impossible. Because there is no public source of the sony android. Therefore no one can port anything.
If you want your phone to look like an Xperia and also want to use the Xperia apps, I will guide you to a simple flashable zip that will allow you to install Sony apps from play store. Then if you use CM, you can install an Xperia theme. So far Marshmallow theme hasn't yet surfaced, but a Lollipop one can be find a lot on the Internet, and a lot of them are supported on CM13's theme engine

Thank you for your kind reply and am sorry for asking such dumb question. Actually am new to custom rom world and xda so I thought one thing from mobile can be another mobile... LOL :silly:
Anyway, I once installed CM 12.1 from http://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=huashan but it lacks sony apps (walkman and album is all I need). By flashable zips, you mean to say that I can install on CM 12.1 and those apps will get updates if any come in the future?
Also, what is the difference between CM11, 12.1 and 13?
Waiting for your reply.

It's okay, there are plenty to learn
Of course it will lack SONY apps, because the ROM is a custom ROM. Custom ROM is very different in nature from stock ROM. And yes, by flashable zip, you can install any of SONY apps and gets update from the Play Store However, keep in mind, some DRM-sensitive features like the Sony Music (used to be walkman) Songs Information downloader will no longer exist, since, well, you already wiped your DRM keys from your TA Partition during bootloader unlock..
Here is the link to the Sony framework zip on Mega: https://mega.nz/#!wwURzAyI!lMNndMjEvZoKCYHo_oJ-SXq1oM9jQLvlcnCRIa2Vdzs
The difference between the cm11, cm12.1 and cm13 is the Android versions.
cm11 means Android 4.4.*
cm12 means Android 5.0.* [no longer exists]
cm12.1 means Android 5.1.*
cm13 means Android 6.*

Hmm... Thank you for clarifying.
Going to install CM 12.1 or 13 tomorrow. Can you please share SONY ALBUMS, MUSIC, VIDEOS and SKETCH flashable zips so I can get updates in future.
Also, which add-ons you recommend for CM 12.1 / 13?
PS: Which one you recommend for daily use? 12.1 or 13?

I have already given you the link to the framework zip. Please re-read and try to understand my last explanation
After flashing the zip, you will have to go to play store and search for the Sony apps you wanted.
About the recommendation part, I have no idea as I personally are not using cm. However, for the question of "12.1 or 13", I'd recommend for you to go for 12.1 if you prefer stability, over bleeding-edge (cm13)

Just stick with stock if you're a simple guy. If you want extensive tweaking, go for Helium kernel, the one and only custom kernel available for Lollipop+

I don't think it's not very easy to port Z5 rom because it's totally different from our device system structure. If it's possible here's so many good expert developers who can port Z5 rom for our device.Though try your best you can learn and gain knowledge about it.

I actually managed to port xperia z5 rom to LG L90 D405 but with some issues :
1- no cell phone signal
2-wifi not turning on or off
3- bluetooth not turning on or off
4- power key not working
5- physical nav keys (home button, back, recent apps) not working
6- Screen resolution is bigger (My phone original resolution is 960x540 with 240dpi, the rom that i ported is 720x1280 with 326 dpi)
7- camera app open and show an error and the closes

Bug fixing thread didn't help you?Sony camera app may not work if you add it to port rom also. And what cm version rom did you use as base rom?All version may not work to change resolution dpi or not support.Try cm 10 or aosp base rom.aosp rom have this feature.

Understood but that cm will not work.Go to your LG Mobile forum in xda and find if anyone already built a aosp rom for your device. You can use that aosp as base rom. This sould fix the dpi problem.Otherwise you'll have to find same resolution port rom for your device.

What other problems? You sometime won't get help from the developers because this type of related threads are available many in xda forum. So it's better to use Google or xda search engine. You'll get your desire answer. If you are new to port rom it can be hard for you.We many uaers want Z5 rom for our device too but developers are refusing to do it.Or may not work properly in our device. So this is a very big challenging if are not an expert developer or user. You can ask problem maybe I can research the problem for you from my own knowledge and from XDA. I'm intereste on this type of matter.
