looking for a capable person to take over paranoid

its a well known fact that i am moving up to the note2 in t-minus 6 days
what im looking for is someone to take the lead on my paranoid build for this phone
please have atleast these 3 things
1- a computer that can build android *i say atleast these specs*
-quadcore
-6gb+ ram
-128+gb hdd *takes about 80gb or so to build*
-time!
2- the knowledge of building android as i dont have the time to teach.
-i have all the files set official so it wont be super hard!
-the know on how to fix minor bugs if they pop up or the ability to search and read and learn!*this is how i got to where i am*
3- PASSION and DEDICATION
-ive put alot into paranoid for i717 and in turn this phone and id like the high standard kept!
if you think you have this or can handle this please send me a pm!
BUT IF YOU DONT PLEASE DONT WASTE MY TIME ive had to many people ask me to teach them to build to take over my i717 and i am just not down for that to much on my plate.

Rom Port Request Thread

Hey, guys! I'm making this thread because I will continue to port roms, but only if it is requested. As you can see I've been on a porting spree but now I want you guys to let me know what rom to port (if any). My ports are solely made to provide the experience of a rom until the owner/dev team of that rom officially supports us. All requests that I post will now be permitted by the owner/s. If I am not allowed, i will let you know here.
So if there is a rom you would like ported, leave a comment and I (and perhaps xcoNjA) will do my best to bring it for you. Thanks guys - Michael
****The rom needs to have the same resolution as the S4 and also an arm7 processor...might be able to do it with an arm6 but yeah (so basically, any rom that works on a different S4 I can almost guarantee it can be ported****

Just ran it... I installed it and restored apn's and its good to go. I flashed ktoonsez new TW kernel with it. Man this rom flies.
Edit: One thing though, you lose lte with a reboot and cant get it back until you on a Sprint rom and update prl and profile.

Thanks again for all the ports. I think I'm less interested in new ports and more interested in the stability of the ones we already have, And don't get me wrong. They're running great already. At this point, if we're able to get 3g and 4g, along with mms working like a stock rom, then I will definitely use them as daily drivers.
Thanks again for bringing some fun to the Sprint forum in the last week.

Josh will never let that one fly.

I know this is asking a TON, but Firefox OS would be absolutely awesome to try on this phone. Mozilla has some documentation on how to build it, but I am not advanced enough quite yet.
Not really expecting data to work, of course. Just a proof of concept and actually trying it on phone software would be awesome.
Then again, I could be completely off base and it could be impossible to flash like you would an android ROM. Who knows.

Thanks to the folks at galaxy w developer tazerick managed to port Google edition 4.3 to the galaxy w. If I get the green light I'll try to port it.

The ROM I wanted to ported cam found out it wasn't official 4.3 just a 4.2 rom with 4.3 apps from the leak. 4.3 Source is here So good things are coming, plus every time I tried to port it bootlooped and i even used 4.3 edition from the n4 leak. I have a liquid smooth rom and illusion rom i can post if the developers gives me the OK.

Yeah im actually starting to learn how to build from source but my computer sux been waiting 4 months now for my tax return so i can buy a allenware

You can custom build a better computer and for less than a alienware

I'm at my store til 10pm then I drive 3 hours one way to my brothers store then drop off deposits for his on my way home drop off mine time I get home my kid usually hears me when i get home keeps me up til calms down then im out the door at 6 last night i got 2 1/2 hours of sleep because of a accident and they closed the roads for about a hour and a half.

For me the rom search ended at aoip, im sold on it, once this is no longer my main phone i use I'll play around with new roms again but right now everything works, battery life is good enough for me, and it's solid

I agree aoip is an awesome rom cam sure put alot of hard work into it and turned it into one of the best rom on xda period. No rom can come close aoip but it be nice to see more than 1 rom being worked on thats all.

Android 4.3

4.3 is out. How long do you guys think it'll be we'll start working with it? I doesn't seem like a big update from our 4.2.2 roms but I have yet to get a hold of my friend Nexus 7. Anyone actually know of that is supposed to be actually exciting about it? Lmk
(p.s) I'm not gonna post links for it seeing as how you can't go to an Android site without seeing it lol)

I have a Nexus 4 that I'm using alongside my Atrix HD. Overall I can tell you that, honestly, aside from the animations being smoother and the battery efficient bluetooth I haven't noticed much. Then again, I haven't installed / reinstalled any of the more intensive games and applications that I used previously. The colors are just better out of the box with the Atrix HD compared to the Nexus 4. I don't always want to root my phones.

if its a lot better it will be worth the upgrade but im more excited about 5.0 keylime pie

I heard mention of multi user profiles for 4.3. Maybe just a mistake, but I know I'd love to see that. My wife loves to get on my AHD to play games, but freaks out if she hits the wrong buttons somewhere. Something tells me a locked profile would help for her. Anybody heard anything besides me?

I'm not....Should have a 4.3 PAC Alpha in a day or two....well, provided it compiles that is. Gonna sync it over night and build tomorrow. That's the plan anyways.

Just finished playing with it. Definitely no radio, but Wi-Fi works. No sound, but I didn't really test that. Worked otherwise out of box, so I'm looking forward to it. If I had an x64 box I'd be building it myself. As always, many thanks to our developer community.

I've only had some minor issues with Trebuchet FCing on me when opening the app drawer. Otherwise all is well here too.

bummer i missed out. But i really like sense...so whats the issue, is it not an official release or something? and why is it all so hush hush? im just curious.

It was an unofficial release but I dont see why he would have been blocked for that. So far people arnt seeing too many issues.

The new trebuchet looks nice! And so does focal. Cool that they got camera working from the get go.
Not as stable as I'd like though, so not gonna be a daily driver anytime soon.

BTW - to those who have flashed... are you noticing spotty data reception so far... or am I just paranoid? >.>
