I'd sawn some pictures of homescreen with HTC Sense 4 clock widget on HTC One. Is really possible to get it, or are they fake pictures?
Is there any projects to bring Sense 4+ to HTC One? Because I REALLY liked Sense 4+ and didn't wanted to lose the Blinkfeed and HTC Zoe.
HTC One doesn't have anymore the HTC Music program from HTC One X? Can I install the apk onto it or has it any compatibility problems?
Thank you all.
The Sense 4 clock widgets are already included.

Is it possible to install the HTC Car app from the One series line on the Vivid? Or is it dependent upon files from Sense 4.0 making it more complicated to port over?
Generally there are many resource differences between sense applications from version to version. However some application like the sense 4 flip clock so it guess this would be possible if a development member was interested

I don't think so, sense 4a is lite, it has less 3d animations, the apply transition animations aren't as cool and it doesn't have the tabs on the bottom on some sense apps
Not much difference, mostly in the animation and looks as opposed to functionality
But, sense 4 full has the cool 3d spinning world in the clock app but like I said, not much difference in terms of functionality besides the lockscreen and Widgets
I guess sense 4 full showcases the power that the one s and one x have compared to lesser powered phones like ours
For instance, the one v will probably have ram problems if it had full sense

lite is an HTC One V port, which is slightly tuned down from full sense 4 to save battery and power

In other words sense 4a isn't as nice looks abit like a knock

thanks 4 gettin' me some info about this.))
guess I'll try the lite one 4 more performance from my HIS.)
It's mostly just animations and look (cube-animations, recent apps-screen). But there are also things like the 3-finger-swipe-up for MediaLink and stuff like that. And of course the resolution of the devices.
can u tell something more about the gestures?
what does 3fingerSwype do?
Sent from my Incredible S using xda app-developers app
It's just one thing. If you're on homescreen and swipe up with 3 fingers you open HTC Media Link, which is an app to project your phone display on your TV. But it needs external hardware from HTC though, which costs about 80 bucks...
Hey guys,
Not sure if I'm the only person to miss some of the widgets I used to have on the One X and other HTC devices before.
The widget I'm missing most is the Messages widget, cause I always used it for my text messages.
Is there a way to get these widgets on the One?

Same here, they were forced to strip down sense by other idiots always calling it bloat. Now a lot of the widgets I used to use are gone just like you I used to use the text messages widget all the time. Mail was another one of my regular widgets.

A lot of what was in Sense 4 and Sense 4+ was unnecessary bloat, at least in my experience. The performance difference when running a de-Sensed ROM or an AOSP ROM, at least on the One XL, was night-and-day compared to a pure Sense ROM - even on 4.1.
Allow me to download Sense widgets in an HTC store or something, but they should be optional installs, at most.
I miss the 4x1 weather clock with the nice graphics. The sense 5 version might be 'lighter' but I rather liked the clouds that looked cloudy rather then tv weather forecast icony.

I miss being able to type one status update to post across Twitter, Fb, etc

There are always other apps than can do that in the same way or better than the HTC widget ones and are less intrusive to the battery and perfomance. What I miss is the lock screen animation, I liked it on the One XL, even when It was a battery sucker. ^^
The difference between Sense 4.x and Sense 5 is really awesome, Sense 5 is faster, sleekier and much faster and less battery intensive than Sense 4.x as for now.

You are still able to do this using the BlinkFeed screen. Just pull down the feed to reveal the menu and tap the pen.
But can't update more than one of the three options shown at the same time...

One of these days you'll realize nobody really cares what your "status updates" are.
Facebook is dumb, twitter a little less dumb when used for news and not "OMG you won't believe who I just saw #someonefamous" crap.
What other ROM for the HTC One other then the GE support Dashclock ?
Does any ROM with HTC sense ?
Thanks
You can install dashclock in any 4.2.2 sense custom Rom only thing is you can't use it on the lock screen because HTC hasn't implemented lock screen widgets.
If you want to use it on the lock screen then you need a non sense Rom unfortunately.

I'm using it on sense rom 4.2.2. I dirty flashed from 4.1.2, currently gains ARHD 11.0. One thing I've noticed is when I get group messages, dashclock falsely records a text alert for the contact who sent the group text message.
I'd post a screenshot but xda premium app is being retarded.
