(Q)How do you turn off Hardware Key backlights? - Galaxy S III I9305 (4G LTE + 2GB RAM) Q&A, Help &

I've been looking around and can't seem to find how to turn off the hardware key lights.
So any help would be appreciated, I'm running Official Cyanogen Mod 10.1 Nightlys.

I also can't open links. Wtf is going on lol.

Try going back to ICS then upgrading to jellybean, again. No idea what would cause this.

I was really hoping that wasn't the only solution. I've gone back about 5 times now.
Sent from my MB886 using xda app-developers app
Make sure to do a FULL wipe when going back to ICS.
Sent from my Jellybeaned Motorola Atrix HD MAXX
Yea I've done that. 3 times lol.

Has anyone successfully modded the soft key layout? Maybe I can change it up and make the home key work.
Sent from my MB886 using xda app-developers app
Another thing is it started doing it on ics right before I switched. I thought maybe that would fix it. Could it be a bad app?
Sent from my MB886 using xda app-developers app
Also when turning off the phone the only option is power off and when I turn it on it goes straight to fast boot so I have to hold volume and power and do normal power up.

Sounds like you need some repairs more than just flashing
Well what kind of repair?

Sent from my LG-P880 using xda app-developers app
U need a custom launcher to rotate screen.
Sent from my LG-P880 using xda app-developers app
Ya I know custom launcher works. But is there any stock option available?
Sent from my LG-P880 using xda app-developers app

Can you tell me where the option is, can't find it
Sent from my One using xda app-developers app
Just pull the keyboard up and you'll see the 123 key press and hold it, there you see resize.
Sent from my HTCONE using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
The number row should disappear when you have the number/symbols keyboard pulled up... imo.
don't forget holding down the 'enter' key opens up a massive emoji menu... for those who care about that sort of thing
