CM10 wallpaper folder - Nook HD, HD+ Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hi, i recently installed CM10 on my new Nook HD+ and man is it epic! i decided to replace my TF-101 with the HD+ as my daily carry (school) due to the better performance and lighter weight. now the only thing that im looking for is some help finding the CM10 wallpaper directory. i know that this has been asked but so far no answer has been given. i have tried using file expert but have had no luck. any and all help is appreciated. thanks in advance!

There is no CM10 wallpaper directory. The wallpapers are stored in an application named CMWallpapers.apk in /system/app. If you are looking to extract them you can, but not add to them. Why do you want to know?

wow! that makes sense. thanks for the help btw. i just wanted to know why no one ever gave an answer to that question. i came upon it while looking for some wallpapers for my HD+ and it never got answered. btw, that is alos bugging me. what is the right wallpaper dimensions for HD+? thanks again for all your help leapinlar!

I guess I never saw that question before. And I do not know the proper size for wallpaper on the HD+. I assumed CM would just stretch it to its needs.
Edit: But the native resolution for the HD+ is 1920x1280.

ideal resolution for a walpaper on nook hd+ would be 2560x1920

[REQUEST] Could anyone create this livewallpaper? ( for Umbrella Corp. theme)

Hi there,
i would like to create an Resident Evil Umbrella Corporation style theme for our droids, perfect would be an animated Umbrella Corp Logo live wallpaper.
Could anyone create a live wallpaper from this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hzHcZabNGqw
Best would be if the Umbrella Corp letters on the left corner could disappear.
Thanks, would really be great
Download the video using any means.
Convert it to a bunch of images (pngs)
Use a batch rename program like (faststone) to rename em to 1.png,2.png,3.png....
Go in the nexus themes/apps section and look for my "Custom Lwp Script" or in market an app called Custom Lwp if i recall.
They both allow u to create lwp out of sequence of images.
Good Luck
Thanks for the hint
It gaves me 360 images in reduced quality, isn't maximum of images 300?

Reads the pictures from sd card, right? hmmm... not so good for card life, especially when running a desire hd rom which works half from sd, too.
i've notice that on the custom lwp it says that it must be the exact same size as the phone resolution but for live wallpapers like mariolive its scrollable would we be able to make scrollable LWP with this as well?

Quick version: no such thing.
Sent from my HDfied HTC Desire
and does anyone made it?
Actually pretty sure you can convert an swf to an avi and then convert that to individual pngs.
Avi to pngs can be done with gimp and the gap package.

Would drain your battery, but you can use Video Live Wallpaper.
Lets you set your own video as a live wallpaper.
as far as killing your SD Card, would you be able to push the files to your device internal storage?
Perhaps not, im not too familiar with your device.
Sorry if this doesn't work.

Show off your tablet

hey, opening this thread to see how your desktop looks.
its less about style, but more about functionality. phones don't count
I am not at home, so will add my shot later.
if you got something special, explain right ahead, since someone will ask anyway, so we keep the talk low and the info high.
Morsed by hitting a plastic pipe with my Desire HD. Excuse typos.
I think most people use

to show their screens. I do wish everyone would list the launcher/apps/widgets that they are using.
Maybe you had something different in mind?
Cheers,

I would setting for the one being used!
I don't know slim. In CM10 it wallpapers are in the /system/app folder zipped in apk files. For example, CMWallpapers.apk. just curious, why are you asking?

I am forced to upgrade. My micro USB port is intermittent and my better half is tired of me taking my Captivate apart and changing batteries. I'm going to a Note II. Their wallpaper is light, sky color with a feather floating. I figured I would move some notifications and wallpaper. Maybe by Dropbox.

The screen resolution on the cappy and the note 2 are very different. Chances are that they won't look so good on your n2 :/

[Q] nook theme

Would anyone like/use a nook style CM theme?
When i say nook style, i mean i will try to imitate the nook look (maybe thats what ill call it) inc. check boxes, buttons etc.
I'll recreate all the png's for usage with different dpi's, maybe up to xxxhdpi.
Regards.
I would totally like this please make it happen Sir.
I'd like that too.
