The one you pick. It's a very subjective answer. Case A is best for me, but case B may be best for you.

^^ hahaha and so it begins...but yeah bro..best cases in this order from expense/protection 1) UAG 2) Case-Mate Tough 3) DBA Cases Slim Case

haha yes it does begin again. . . those are all good, but for only 8.50 off Amazon or even less sometimes on eBay, the Duzign Sentinel has to receive strong consideration. If only the Seidio clip was compatible with it, this would be my top one. The TPU case is very firm, yet malleable enough for great protection and the exoskeleton provides added structure and defense while being very cool, and it comes with a serviceable kickstand. Just don't order the white/black one--the white TPU case gets dirty very fast. I am rocking the black on black and it is my daily driver.

That one's the best but we use different ones because we prefer to use the vastly inferior cases instead.

these are totally awesome
mercury slim fit silicone case ftw. i typically like hard cases because i feel that they provide superior protection but with the note 2 being so large, anything other than this case make the phone unbearable. besides, it's cheap as well. best thing to do: have the case/screen-protector for the oops moments and every time other than that, hold on to the phone for dear life.

Hey OP, did you bother to look at the 3 dozens threads already started about the exact same question? You couldn't toss a rock in this forum without hitting a case thread, and every single one of the is riddled with pics, reviews, and user comments. Do us all a favor and search before posting.

It's obvious that this is a non responsive OP, just let it go.

Anyone have any experience with this brand, the candy shell line in particular?
I had a Speck Candyshell for my iPhone 3GS and it was a pretty darn good case. I loved it and would buy it for my galaxy tab if I hadn't already ordered bodyguardz for my tab.
I am very much hoping to have some experience with the candy shell line from speck. Just as soon as they get it back in stock I will be ordering it. Until then I bought a cheaper version to keep the tab safe.
Hi can you post some pics of the candyshell please? Just to what it looks like...is it something similar to the Otterboc Commuter case?

I have the white candy shell from speck. I really like it fairly easy to put on and take off and the buttons are still easy to press and you can get the sd card out with the case still on.

Picked one up off Amazon and decided to snap a few pics today:

Speck Case is far SUPERIOR!!!
Okay, I just received the Speck case for my GT and I have to say after owning a pretty good selection of cases from the Incipio SiliCrylic to the leather folio case to the OEM silicone and even the Otterbox Defender, this case is hands down the best case thus far.
It is well made, fits very snug and secure, the hard candy shell is fantastic and provides great grip-ability. Not to mention it slides easily into pockets and looks amazingly stylish. Great industrial design. Did I mention it adds no bulk what so ever... Kudos Speck!!!
If it only had a kick stand I would have got one

Does anyone know of a hard case like this with a built in kickstand? I've only seen one and it kind of looks a little cheap (it's mostly clear with colored rubber on the sides).
I'd love to ditch my book style case for something slimmer, but I need a kickstand.

Could always use it in Combination wit the Arkon Stand:
http://www.arkon.com/accessories/galaxy_tab_stand.html
That's what I'm considering. I already have the stand and its pretty good.
Okay guys, I got this case about a month ago now and have dropped my phone about 4 or 5 times from my waste to the sidewalk and absolutely nothing has happened to my phone.
I highly reccomend this case.

It also has a cool little kickstand on it for when you are watching videos, surfing the web with various mousepads, keyboards, etc.
And don't forget gaming with a bluetooth gamepad.
It also comes with a cool little beltclip, very handy id you dont want to shove this beast of a phone into your pocket,
Very nice case, only for about $8.00 USD.
Here is a link if you would like to purchase one:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Black-Rugge...435987?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item2ec37feb13
In my opinion, it was MORE than worth the $8 I payed.
Hope you guys enjoy
I know this is offtopic but that beltclip is exactly what Otterbox Commuter case needs, take notice Otterbox
Yea that's the only reason I didn't get an Otterbox.
I'm sorry I couldn't post photos of the beltclip but nonetheless, very useful.

ive got one of those cases. its definitely one of the best cases ive ever bought from ebay. its quite durable and offers a lot of drop protection.
the only thing i didnt like was the stand mechanism. when its fully locked open, it feels like its going to snap when i try to close it. aside from that, definitely worth the money.
That's a brick... excessively thick for my taste...
You bought a Galaxy Note II...
I dont see how size of the case would come into play at all, you have the biggest phone on the market.

The phone might be big but it's pretty thin width-wise which makes it easier to use etc
Does the silicone pick up lint?
Would you say this case is as thick as the commuter or is it thinner?
Thanks
The silicone does not pickup lint.
I keep the kickstand on it at all times so its like a hard case with a jelly core.
Very good resistance if you drop your device.
It is quite thin and only bulks your device about a quarter to a half inch more.

If the op is dropping their phone 5 times a month, a brick case is probably worth it. Lol

I ordered this, it came today. The case is pretty nice. It has a slim profile, tpu backing with rigid sides. I'll have pics up in the morning if anybody is interested. 18.99 on ebay

so here are pictures of the case, sorry im a little late with getting these up. The case is a rigid TPU style case, clear on the back with back accents on the sides. It is a tight fit with the phone, but once in its very secure. The case doesnt wrap around the curvature of the phone all the way, so it looks like there will be no issue with a tempered glass screen protector. All the ports have access, including the IR port for the TV app. There is no lensing issues with the camera, or flash reflection, which is nice. The only real downside to this case is getting used to how far you need to press your finger to use the power switch, but im over that. there is also the slightest of gaps in the top of the case by the power button, but its a non-issue for me. Overall im happy with the case.

Thanks for the pictures, the case looks great! Does it add a lot of bulk or weight to the phone?

its a little thicker, but if i dont have something solid, ill do some foolish thing, all in ll its not bad
I had that case and sent it back for refund. It's a great case but I like a little more edge lip than this had. It's very low profile with excellent grip. I am opting between the clear UAG case or the supcase that I'm still waiting on to be delivered.

I'm wondering if I should use a case on this phone. It has a plastic back so I'm thinking it will survive a drop better than a GS6 and I have a Square Trade warranty. What are you using?

Are the skins easy to apply? What brand do you prefer?
Dbrand. Easy to apply and high quality.

Mine is a little flexy, creaky, and lightweight by itself.
I put it in the Hybrid Supcase with the frost PC which gives it a little mass and rigidity, which helps with the feel.

Totally agree... I got just a cheap thin one. It added just enough to make the phone feel "right".
Fosmon DURA-FRO Ultra Slim Matte Case
I got a dbrand and a nice "pouch" off etsy from seller begoos. I highly recommend

No case, I use a Slickwraps skin (black leather) and a vertical belt pouch from PDAir.
Yup. Plan on selling it next year with the money going towards the next Nexus phone. So better resale value if in great condition.

The plastic on the N5X will dent a lot easier than the GS6! No harm in getting a case
Yup! Don't want the back to wear out.
Must def better safe then sorry
I always use a case....
I don't want extra bulk but I am afrarid of dropping, maybe have a light case is prettty, still seeking.
No case, no skin, no screen protector. But I use a sleeve:

Nope, Nexus Protect has me covered. Plus it helps for resale when I can sell a sealed in-box item.
A little more minimalist in terms of design compared to the Plasma Series

Bought a bunch of those to hold me over for the time being. But I always end up ditching those cheap cases for something better as my daily driver.
I've cracked a screen with a Ringke case and another with a Spigen case. Have yet to crack a screen with an UAG case, fingers crossed.

LOL, you got a "daily driver" case?
So why cheap out on the "discounted" one. Get yourself an Otterbox with some Zagg which might set you back 60-90 bucks.
Hell, just take your phone to a factory, scan it and create your own (police grade) Kevlar case with some titanium casing and memory foam bumpers.
You already spent $900, you can afford it.
:laugh: Get a protection plan, that's the best case.
From my experience, casology, ringke and so on are good enough if not better. Also you can get more for fashion reasons or just in case you get bored.
